The gworls are back! A little bit of a delayed one, but Leo and Nesu start off by discussing how summer has been and the art of striking the balance between enjoying outside and not overdoing it and getting some rest.

The duo discuss the art of the rewatch and unpack some shows they’ve tapped into during the Bravo ‘off season’, and touch on how the dying concept of teenagehood has resulted in a loss of a great genre of TV shows catered to teenagers and young adults.

They close off with a recap of RHODubai and how so much changed in such a short space of time; while briefly closing with their thoughts on the reunion looks.

You asked, and they delivered! Leo and Nesu dive right back in, as they reminisce on how they were first introduced to Afrobeats, and the drawbacks that have come with recent linkups between Southern and West African artists on some remixes of already popular songs.

Jumping over to how they’re doing, they open up about recent experiences with getting older, and how friendship dynamics just seem to change without cause. The topic of friendships continue, as they discuss the cracks beginning to show in Lesa and Chanel’s friendship on the sophomore season of the Real Housewives of Dubai.

For their last/holiday episode of 2023, Big IK joins Leo and Nesu, and Christmas is on the brain as they start with how they’re doing, as well as trying to get into the Christmas spirit a few days before the big day. They do the usual Pass/Drop the Mic (15:00), sharing their thoughts on what’s stood out for them, for good reasons or bad. In recapping what they’ve been watching recently (42:22), they also point out anything that’s stood out to them on tv at the moment. The conversation switches to the new seasons of RHOP and the Married to Medicine (58:44), where the two discuss their views of the season premieres.

The pair go straight into discussing some pop culture topics including cancel culture, the viral Carlos King interviews with Nene Leakes and Kenya Moore (00:36:00). They then segue into giving a recap of what they believe has been the worst season of the Real Housewives of Atlanta (01:09:41), and exchange opinions on who they think needs the chop as well as what they think production should consider for the upcoming season. 

Today marks the season 1 finale of the Reality Check Pod and Leo and Nesu are so excited to get into let week's episodes. After their usual weekend round up, they head straight into their thoughts on S1E9 of the Real Housewives of Dubai, ‘Dancehall It Out’ (00:17:15), where Sara vs Brooks continues. They also end off with a rating of the cast and the season [thus far]. Next on the agenda is S14E13 of the Real Housewives of Atlanta, ‘A Rum Punch To The Gut’ (00:51:22). The cast sets off for Jamaica and Kenya seems to have got her groove back? The trip quickly escalates as it's only the first night and Marlo and Kandi (unsurprisingly) have butted heads. Last on the menu was S12E13 of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, 'Rose Coloured Glasses' (01:20:57), and Leo and Nesu share their confusion at Sutton still wanting to be in Rinna's good books. The duo end of by dissenting the shocking scene at Rinna's Rose tasting.

In this week’s episode of the Reality Check Podcast, your hosts are still basking in the glow of Queen Bey’s latest album, Renaissance and cannot stop talking about it! After describing what felt like a “pod day out” over the weekend, they jump into discussing Diana’s Christmas party and the ensuing chaos on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills (23:20), S12E12 “Beverly Hills Blackout”. Caroline Stanbury is the topic of conversation on S1E8 “Drama in the Sandbox” of the Real Housewives of Dubai (55:27), as she finally walks down the aisle with Sergio this episode; and introduces the housewives to her circle of friends, with very interesting results. Our Georgia peaches are all hot and bothered on S14E12 of the Real Housewives of Atlanta (01:16:53), “Trust (Planning) Issues” as Kandi looks to plan for the future, and tensions between Drew and Sheree come to a boil over Sheree’s friend Fatum. 

It’s another week and Leo and Nesu have actually managed to keep the ball rolling; dare we say, they’re back? The pair start you off with a weekend roundup and head straight into their thoughts on S14E11 of the Real Housewives of Atlanta, ‘Cabin Fever’ (00:18:46). What seems to be a redemption arc for Kenya is discussed by the pair, as well as their mutual shock at how poorly Marlo and Sanya are coming off as new leach holders. They head on to the heated S1E8 of the Real Housewives of Dubai, ‘Drama in the Sandbox’ (00:51:49) where Caroline Brooks and Sara’s misunderstanding almost turns Caroline Stanbury’s desert engagement party upside down! Last on the menu was S12E11 of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, ‘The Weight of Words’ (01:20:57) and the pair further solidified their dislike for Diana and their desire for Crystal to give them more; while enjoying Dorit fangirl’ing for Jamie Lee Curtis.

Leo and Nesu give a brief recap of what’s been going on with them of late, and why you haven’t heard from them, as well as a timely conversation about the heatwave and the UK’s (as always) unpreparedness for this. Since the last time they got behind the mic, both parts of the Real Housewives of Lagos reunion (15:52) aired, and the two find themselves yet again appreciating Andy Cohen’s ability to hold housewives to task at reunions even though he does come with him own biases. The topic of how any of these women film a potential second season has the dynamic duo in agreement for a change, and they give a roundup of their thoughts on each woman’s performance this season. Leo opens the discussion about the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills (01:13:26) with a monologue about what’s annoyed them these last few episodes (and there’s a lot) and the hosts find themselves feeling as though Lisa’s grief and the robbery at Dorit’s are being drawn out for longer than they should, while remaining unimpressed by Diana, and feeling all the good things regarding Sheree. There’s lots to unpack regarding Caroline Stanbury when the conversation pivots to the Real Housewives of Dubai (01:42:52), from her upcoming nuptials to her bringing Sergio around all the time; the hosts are sick sick sick of seeing him. Sara’s Jesus complex is discussed, which leads into a difference of opinion with regards to Caroline B’s blowup on her. To close out this episode, the two are in agreement that Fatum and Sanya on the Real Housewives of Atlanta (02:11:02) are starting to seem a bit fixated with Drew, as well as Marlo’s return to her old ways with Kenya showing that the enemy of your enemy truly isn’t your friend. 

After a long unintentional hiatus, your fav reality pod duo is back with episode 31! After a much needed catch-up, they got straight into S1E2-4 of the Real Housewives of Dubai, (00:23:00). Leo and Nesu share their thoughts on the Carolines as well as which housewives they’re currently feeling a little disappointed by. Next on their radar is S12E5-8 (00:46:10) of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. The pair shared a mutual shock for how reasonable Kyle seemed to be following the ongoing ‘Dark’ dispute between Crystal and Sutton, as well as a common confusion as to what Diana’s purpose on this cast really is. Episodes 10 and 11 of the Real Housewives of Lagos (01:06:39) were next on the agenda, and they dissect the shocking fallout between Chioma and Caroline. Last on the menu was S14E6-8 of the Real Housewives of Atlanta (01:22:25) and the pair broke down their opinions on Kenya vs Marlo and the bubbling feuds throughout the rest of the group.

This week’s fashionably late episode starts off with an update on how Leo and Nesu are doing and a bit of chat about Love Island. To start off this week’s reviews, the two dive into Bravo’s first international instalment of the franchise, the Real Housewives of Dubai (11:47), with S1E1 titled ‘Sand Dunes and Don’ts’ as they give their first impressions of this group of women, the way the show portrays wealth as well as their excitement for what’s to come this season. On S12E4 of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, ‘The Crystal Conundrum’ (58:10) both Leo and Nesu agree that Crystal is moving weirdly, and what effect her comments about Sutton are having on the rest of the group. The trip to New York continues on S14E5 of the Real Housewives of Atlanta (01:24:43), ‘She by Herself’ which leaves the hosts wondering what exactly Sanya’s motives were in calling Drew out in front of the group as well as Kandi’s reaction to criticism about her openness to sex when her friends aren’t feeling it. Last but certainly not least, S1E9 Real Housewives of Lagos (01:57:35) sees Toyin host a party for her friends, as she prepares to announce a trip to Dubai to celebrate her 40th birthday, and Leo and Nesu find themselves conflicted about Toyin’s problem with Chioma.

With not much on their agenda this week, they got deep into S12E3 of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, ‘There’s Sutton About Crystal’ (00:22:52). Kyle has her store opening and takes the ladies on a road trip for it. Sutton vs everyone else continues, and unfortunately Crystal ends up triggered; and the hosts dissect this. Episode 8 of the Real Housewives of Lagos (01:01:50) is next on the agenda, and the Cold War between Laura and Caro continues and Leo and Nesu share their thoughts on the ‘Peace Summit’ Iyabo hosted.

The events of the weekend are fresh on Leo and Anesu’s minds in this episode of the Reality Check Podcast. The Real Housewives of New Jersey (11:50) concludes its S12 reunion, in what the duo agree has got to have been a lacklustre season, even as it is their first full watch of the show. Andy’s frustrations with the women come up, in addition to Traci being cut out of the final footage and Louie finally getting the chance to address the rumours that have swirled about him recently. Shifting gears, the Real Housewives of Atlanta (44:53) continues, with S14E4 ‘Big Apple Squabbles’ seeing the Georgia peaches travel to New York for Kandi’s play, as Marlo continues to prove how much she deserved her promotion and the duo find themselves surprisingly agreeing with Kenya and Marlo throughout the episode. Diana is introduced as the newest diamond in S12E2 of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills (01:12:54) ‘Receipt Offender’, and the hosts are at odds about their first impression of her. Dorit tries to move on from the robbery and Lisa’s villainous streak shows no sign of ending anytime soon. To round out the episode, Leo and Anesu dive into the most explosive episode of the Real Housewives of Lagos thus far, S1E7 (01:35:38) as Mariam hosts the ladies for a lunch at her home, and the gloves finally come off for Laura and Caroline as battle lines are drawn.

This week Leo and Nesu started off with their usual weekend catch-up and without wasting any time they got into part, ‘Reunion: Part 2’ of Real Housewives of New Jersey S12E15 (00:09:05). The Gorgas were still the topic of conversation and they also touched on their views on biases present in this part of the reunion. Episode 6 of the Real Housewives of Lagos (00:43:46) is next on the agenda, and the issue of true friendship is still a burning topic amongst the ladies. Leo and Nesu share their thoughts on Laura’s fashion show and their thoughts on the current tensions amongst the ladies. The duo then discuss S14E3 of the Real Housewives of Atlanta, ‘The Tea Is Served’ (01:08:09), and dissect the case of the shared Assistant as well as how quickly little Brooklyn’s 3rd birthday party went left. Lastly, the pair discuss the long-awaited return of the fan favourite, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills (01:38:50) and get to talking about S12E1, ‘The Break-In’. As this is a new franchise for Nesu, she covers her first impressions, while Leo touches on their excitement for what lies ahead and how the season started off with a bang!

The Reality Check Podcast continues with another episode, as Leo and Nesu chat about the hotly anticipated Selling Sunset reunion (09:29). Tan’s hosting skills are brought up, as well as how he seemed to be coming out guns blazing for Chelsea. After wrapping up their discussion on the Netflix reality show, the duo dive into the first part of Bravo’s Real Housewives of New Jersey (40:10) S12 reunion, talking about Jen’s performance, Jackie’s rumoured demotion as well as Joe G’s continued involvement in women’s business. Drew’s marriage on the S14E2 of Real Housewives of Atlanta (01:09:47), ‘All Aboard the Gaslight Express’ is cause for concern for Leo and Nesu, who worry about how badly things must be for Drew privately, if this is what we’re seeing as the cameras roll. Lastly, we join the ladies of Real Housewives of Lagos S1E5 (01:43:34) as their trip to Abuja continues while they get to know Mariam, the group’s newest addition. 

This week Leo and Nesu are celebrating their 25th episode but after a boozy weekend, their energy was a little low (so they apologise for that) but still started off with their bank holiday recap as always. Without wasting any time they got into Episodes 6-10 of, Netflix’s Selling Sunset S05 (00:08:49). They cover how the rest of season went and what they feel is a much needed rebrand for the show. The duo then discuss the season finale of S12 of Real Housewives of New Jersey (00:48:00), ‘Showdown in Smashville’, and touch up on their disappointment with how the season went. They quickly switch gears to discuss the long-awaited return of one of their favourite franchises, Real Housewives of Atlanta (01:01:00). The pair discuss their thoughts on S14E01, ‘The Edge of Fashion’, and what they think of what feels to be a revamp of the show. They also touch on their first impressions of the new peach holders and cover the potential drama already bubbling. They end off with Real Housewives of Lagos (01:16:00) and discuss how the last two episodes have finally picked up for the show!

In this week’s episode of the Reality Check Podcast, Leo and Nesu review the first half of Netflix’s Selling Sunset (12:01) Season 5. They undoubtedly touch on the couple on everyone’s lips, affectionately dubbed “J-Shell” by the girls, Christine’s antics thus far and newcomer Chelsea’s introduction to the realtors at the Oppenheim Group. Real Housewives of Potomac’s Karen Huger had her spin-off, Karen’s Grande Dame Reunion (01:05:44) conclude, and the duo are unable to hide how much they enjoyed seeing the Grande Dame away from the drama she’s usually caught in the middle of. The drama continues in Nashville with S12E12 of the Real Housewives of New Jersey (01:25:03) ‘Lady Drama Mamas’, which has Leo and Nesu discussing the fallout from Teresa’s outburst, which they agree on, but find they have differing views on what they hope the future holds for the women of the garden state. To round out the episode, they delve into episode 3 of the Real Housewives of Lagos S1E3 (01:48:54) in which Laura finds herself in hot water with her new group of friends, as tensions come to a boil at Carolyna’s boho-themed event. 

This week Leo and Nesu started off with a good ol’ weekend catch-up and get right into what Nesu considers her least fav show at the moment, Real Housewives of New Jersey (00:15:06). The duo discuss S12E11 ‘Nightmare in Nashvegas’, the ongoing feud between Marge and Tre; and exchange opinions on how this season has been. They then slide onto S01E02 of Real Housewives of Lagos (00:58:49) and dissect what appears to be a slow-burn when it comes to this show. They end off on a lighthearted note by talking about the Queen of Potomac’s brand new two-episode spin-off, Karen’s Grand Dame Reunion (01:20:49). The duo discuss how enjoyable part 1, ‘The Grande Dame of Surry County’, was and which other Potomac housewife’s spin-off they’d enjoy.

After a brief hiatus, Leo and Nesu are back in your ear, and provide a bit of a recap on what’s been going on in their lives and give their take on some of the timeline’s “cancellable” takes. The Real Housewives of Lagos (30:32) premiered on Showmax last week, and the duo let us know their initial thoughts on this new franchise, its cast and how much this means to them as die hard Real Housewives fans. After this, they continue with their analysis of The Real Housewives of New Jersey (01:02:36), catching up on the last two episodes, as Marge and Teresa’s feud ramps up in light of the allegations swirling around Teresa’s fiancé Luis. They go back and forth over Marge’s villainous era on the Bravo TV show, and how her and Jennifer seem to be the only cast members who are showing up to give us the drama we undoubtedly tuned in for.

This week was a short and straight-to-the-point episode for Leo and Nesu. They hit the ball rolling with Episode 4, ‘Spilling the OLG Tea’, of Kandi and the Gang (00:16:27), and confirm their strong dislike for this Real Housewives of Atlanta spinoff. Tensions, much like poor customer service, are still very much evident which Leo and Nesu take a moment to dissect. The duo then ends off the episode with a brief discussion on S12E8, ‘Forest of Fury’, of the Real Housewives of New Jersey (00:43:40), and get into whether it’s wise of Traci to start asking all these damn questions!

On this week’s episode, Leo and Nesu add yet another new show to the roster; Young, Famous and African (12:40) and get straight into what they liked and didn’t like about the show, their opinions on the cast and what they’d like to see if Netflix renews it for a second season. They slide onto S1E3, ‘Rowdy Employees & Uptight Managers’ of what they feel is growing to be a difficult watch, Kandi and the Gang (01:16:17), and continue the discussion on Phillip vs everybody and how this spin-off looks in general for Kandi and the OLG. Lastly, they finish off with a discussion on S12E7, ‘Allegation Aggravation', of the Real Housewives of New Jersey (01:33:42), where Marge hosts a spa day for Dolores to get her mind of her mother’s surgery, and the men are still neck-deep in the ladies’ business.

In this week’s episode, Leo and Nesu discuss an altercation at a place you’d least expect it, before getting into how sometimes your life can feel like a TV show, especially living in London. They dive into the Real Housewives of Potomac (26:18), discussing Mia & Gordon’s acrimonious separation, review the looks for the upcoming reunion as well as the aftermath of the previous episode’s events at the GnA fashion show. To conclude, they discuss the tenth season of Married to Medicine (01:25:34), and they feel a bit let down by the quality of the show compared to other seasons, production’s failings in bringing Phaedra onto the show and Carlos King’s interview with Simone and Toya.

On this week’s episode, Leo and Nesu add a new show to the roster; Kandi and the Gang (00:15:07), and review its first two episodes. They discuss the dynamics of this workplace reality show, and highlight what works about it and what doesn’t. As the Real Housewives of Miami (00:41:46) wraps up on season 5, the duo discuss the performance of the ladies in the second part of the reunion, and how Adriana's antics are so wrong but so fun to watch. Switching gears, they head off to the Garden State to chat about S12E6, 'Bromance Breakup' of the Real Housewives of New Jersey (01:12:19), focusing on Marge's obsession with Teresa, Jennifer being the girl you love to hate and how the husbands always seem to end up in women's business. 

Leo and Nesu return right back to where they left off with the Real Housewives of New Jersey (09:20), recapping the last two episodes S12E4, ‘Shady Down the Shore’ and S12E5, ‘Jersey Shore Showdown’. The duo discuss instances of crossing physical boundaries on the Real Housewives as they evaluate the ensuing feud between Melissa and Jennifer, the group's collective bays for Louie's apology and why affairs seem so normalised in New Jersey. The gears are then switched over (56:14) to S4E12, aptly titled ‘No Wedding and a Funeral’ and S4E13, ‘Reunion Part 1’ of Peacock’s the Real Housewives of Miami to discuss the show’s season finale as well as the first part of the reunion. 

In today’s episode, Leo and Nesu are joined by Isatu once again for yet another show wrap-up. The trio exchanged their thoughts and shared laughter on how Euphoria S02 went, their favourite moments and what they want to see out of S03.

On this week’s episode of The Reality Check Podcast, Leo and Nesu get to chatting about Lexi’s much anticipated play, Our Life, on S2E7 of HBO’s Euphoria, ‘The Theater and It's Double’, and how the episode weaved between fact and fiction. They then switch gears (45:38) onto the Real Housewives of Miami, S4E11 ‘Versace and Venom’, which sees us join the women in the Sunshine State as they celebrate Alexia’s upcoming wedding at the iconic Versace mansion. To close, the duo discuss the Real Housewives of Jersey S12E3 ‘A Very Jersey Kegger’ (01:12:10), and how the girls fared sans Teresa and the Gorgas.

In today’s episode, Leo and Nesu get straight into Euphoria S2E06 (02:46) tilted ‘A Thousand Little Trees of Blood’ and discuss the continuation of the unfolding Maddy/Cassie/Nate triangle, and how Zendaya’s Emmy campaign is far from over.

They then proceed to S4E10 of Real Housewives of Miami (1:03:40), ‘Looking for Trouble’ to talk about Adriana versus Larsa, and the franchise’s ability to turn it up at just the right moment. The debate about Kanye’s 🍆 continues, and Leo and Nesu give their takes on most recent bout of Adriana’s messiness. 

They close with a chat with the Real Housewives of New Jersey S12E02 (1:33:08), ‘House of Hypocrisy’ and share their thoughts on the franchise feeling a little scripted as well as Jennifer seemingly getting a taste of her own medicine.

In today’s episode, Leo and Nesu get straight into Euphoria S2E05 (12:23) and unpack what is probably the most dramatic episode of the show so far. They then proceed to S4E09 of Real Housewives of Miami (1:02:40) and discuss who they think needs to pick their socks up before they risk losing their mojito as well as highlight their fav newbies. Lastly, they’ve welcomed a new Housewives franchise into their reel - Real Housewives of New Jersey. They kick off the S12 season opener (1:31:35) and briefly share their first impressions so far.

This week’s episode has Leo & Nesu introduce their new weekly show, HBO's Euphoria (12:29). They go on to discuss how different the first and second seasons are, whether or not they feel this has paid off so far and where things stand by the end of S2E4 “You Who Cannot See, Think of Those Who Can”. The two continue on from last week's discussion on The Real Housewives of Miami (1:11:42) S4E8 “Le Fin?” as their vacation in the Hamptons continues, touching on who they feel has brought it this season and made the case for staying on, as well as a potential demotion or a promotion.

We’re back for yet another jam-packed episode from our dynamic duo, as Leo gets into their Iyanla bag, and helps Nesu as they chat about community, changing their mindsets and what it’s like starting a life away from your family and friends. They then talk about Queen Bey’s upcoming second act (16:37), and people who seem a bit jaded by her due to recent global events. Next up is the announcement that Porsha will be returning for the 16th season of Real Housewives of Atlanta (45:50), as well as Simon’s recent legal woes, and whether Porsha will be open to discussing this in front of the cameras. Switching gears to the Maryland-based Real Housewives of Potomac (59:30), as the duo share their thoughts on what is shaping up to be another lacklustre season, jumping the gun and discussing who they’d like to see back next season, and they lament how negativity has changed a show they both once looked forward to watching. Doctors Jackie and Alicia are in the hot seat, as Married to Medicine (01:45:52) prepares to bow out it’s tenth season, and many a laugh is shared reminiscing on Heavenly’s love for all things Daddy!

Leo and Nesu have a special guest this week, Tammy from the BTS Pod - a self confessed Bravoholic! They open with their views on the infamous Monique vs Candice (Real Housewives of Potomac) altercation, before getting into how they’re doing as well as how their weekend was. The Grammy’s (24:02) are on the brain and they discuss their views on some of the award wins and they also discuss Kandi’s announcement on leaving the Real Housewives of Atlanta.

Next, trio discuss the current season of the Real Housewives of Miami (1:02:04), as the trend of Lisa’s victim mentality continues and she has a ‘Karen’ outburst towards Guerdy. The current season of Married to Medicine is next on the agenda (1:33:02) and the trio discuss Dr. Heavenly doing too much and Dr. Jackie being put in the hot seat. They end off on what their favourite Bravo show is at the moment, and of all time!

The dolls are back! As usual Leo and Nesu start off by catching up and discussing how they are and how Leo is currently the busiest person on the planet. Next up, the pair discuss the Balmain Paris and Tongoro scandal that took place online following Balmain’s #FW24 Men’s Collection show (30:20) and question whether any ideas are ever really original anymore; as well as a quick chat on the rise of Cishet women proposing to men (43:03). The duo goes on to touch on #Married2Med and talk about Toya’s seemingly ungratefulness (01:06:50). Next on the docket is #RHOP (01:30:28) and dissect the current place the show is in, as well as how amazing it was to finally have some luxury on there thanks to Candiace’s event. #RHOSLC is last on the agenda (01:51:42) and they pair discuss Monica’s alleged firing or pause from the show, and share their opposing views about it.

They get to thinking about how their baby cousins aren’t so baby-like anymore, and responsibilities are beginning to stack up before updating on what they’ve been up to. In this week’s Pass/Drop the Mic (20:48), Nesu describes how Jada baited Steff London into a beef she couldn’t handle, and Leo makes their thoughts known on the upcoming Mr and Mrs Smith reboot. Diamonds are on the brain (41:36), as they switch gears and talk all things RHOBH, as they discuss the girls taking turns whacking Dorit, Kyle and Morgan and Erika’s ascent after a rough couple of seasons. The two are in agreement on the topic of ‘Sweet Tea’ when discussing Married to Medicine (01:20:45), and how she slid into Dr. G’s DMs as well as the ladies’ decision to ask Quad to leave the group. Monica from RHOSLC (01:49:30) is cause for concern to the duo as she doubles down on her social media antics and the first part of the season 4 reunion airs.
