Aquostic was a commercial success, peaking at No. 5 on the UK Albums Chart. The album's success led to a series of live acoustic shows, including a memorable performance at London’s Roundhouse for BBC Radio 2. The Quo-Cast is a podcast and YouTube channel dedicated to the legendary British rock band Status Quo. Spare Parts was released on Pye, and produced by John Schroeder. The line up on this album consisted of Francis Rossi, Rick Parfitt, Alan Lancaster, Roy Lynes and John Coghlan. The album spawned one single, Are You Growing Tired of My Love, which was a minor hit. The album failed to chart.
