#5. iPad Nav. Andy answers listener Richard Shaw's question on how to setup and use a dual-iPad navigation system on the boat. Rich is an airline pilot and in fact uses a similar iPad-based system in the cockpit. Andy talks about the benefits and pitfalls of using this setup offshore, including his thoughts on RADAR, accuracy versus resolution, fundamental navigation seamanship caveats, AIS, SeaPilot software and more.
