Records of encounter with the Yeti, also known as the Abominable Snowman, date back as long as 340 BC. Expeditions in the 1950s and 1960s brought us photo evidence and tales of encounters. We assess an avalanche of data, and hear what Yeti obsessed Brian Blessed, and Sir David Attenborough have to say on the existence of the beast.

Some of the strangest noises on the planet come from under the sea. Sometimes we know what they are, and sometimes we don't. And then we have some talking Orcas. It's a strange episode indeed, and neither of us are going to look at the sea in the same way again.

A small village in Eastern Europe in 1725, saw the start of an outbreak of Vampires, after reports of the undead attacking locals. Word reached the Emperor, and the military, church, and medical professionals were sent to investigate. What they found in the graves shocked them. Many bodies were described as being in a state of vampirism. This story is not from folklore, but found in official government documents and autopsies from the time.

We spent the night at a haunted bakery. We talk to people who live and work there. They tell us their stories of; a screaming child at 3am, a poltergeist who pinches staff, shadow people sightings, a spooky hand that closes doors, a head in a washing machine, and a baker who had a terrifying encounter with a Jinn.

We begin by returning to The Cassiopeian Project where an entity has been unravelling the true origin of the UFOs seen over large parts of the US and UK recently. With alien agendas in mind, we then look at historic encounters with bipedal entities, including a pony who was bothered by wrestling pixies.

So much of how we think of Vampires is entwined with Bram Stoker's book Dracula, but what folklore inspired Stoker. We explore the pre Dracula era that led to the rise of the Vampire; from ancient blood sucking entities, to Eastern European graveyards, to Western paranoia. Leaning heavily on Nick Broom's book 'Vampire A New History'.

The huge distances involved in communicating with possible alien civilisations means that it would take centuries to have a conversation governed by the speed of light. But a new idea known as Quantum Tunnelling means that we may be able to talk to our next door neighbours, in space, in real time. The method for this communication could also mean that aliens have been using novel methods to communicate with humans telepathically - something we know is a trait of many close encounters.

We can't ignore the strange happenings over our skies, with drones appearing on a nightly basis in the UK, USA - and beyond. Are they aliens, enemy aircraft, hobbyists or our own military? To us, the current conversation mirrors some older cases, and the similarities with airship, UFO and ghost rocket 'invasions' are too much to ignore.

Stories of superhuman strength feel like urban legends, but there are many real life examples, in fact The Hulk was inspired by one witnessed by it's creator. We have stories of a mother lifting a two tonne car for five minutes to save her child, a 72 year old man lifting three times the world record, and a woman taking on a polar bear to save a group of children. Is this phenomena paranormal, or can science explain it. We investigate.

Voices from the beyond - EVPs - have fascinated us for a long time. Since it appeared that we captured something in our recent field trip, in this episode we look at the work of researcher Konstantĩn Raudive. We listen to some of his recordings, and then get surprised when we discover that he made some phone calls from beyond the grave himself. Is it real? Let's try to find out.

But there is one case that stands out, and may well be real. Could an uneducated manual worker in South America really be possessed by the spirit of a medical genius? He convinced the president  - and today we discover why.

When strange noises began bothering the folk of this small military town nobody could have predicted the havoc that would ensue. From UFO sightings to poltergeist-like activity, Warminster became one of the most visited paranormal destinations in the UK - but, was it real or did one man play a part in creating a flap about nothing? As always, the truth is likely somewhere in the middle - and this week we highlight the reality of this spooky period in British culture.

In 1950 Nobel Prize winner Enrico Fermi asked the question "where are all the aliens?". It sparked huge debate as to why we have not encountered advanced extra terrestrial life, and theories that we are alone in the universe. We look into those arguments, and discover the 'Fermi Paradox' is not a paradox and has very little to do with Enrico Fermi.

We spent the night in one of the world's most haunted prisons. We were not expecting anything spooky. But as you will hear, about half way through, in terms of the paranormal it all kicked off! Ghost sightings, music boxes going off, EVPs and thrown objects. We really don't know what to make of it.

We delve into a case a mass possession, that ripped an idilic French town apart and resulted in the trial and execution of a seemingly innocent man.

We delve into scientific research that may prove we live in a simulated reality. What seems like computer code has been found in quantum physics equations and DNA. Even the existence of maths itself could be a sign.

From the hippy times of the 1960's, a new thinking about plant consciousness emerged - perhaps the humble onion could actually think for itself? It sounds bizarre, but even the CIA was interested in the spying abilities of the humble houseplant. This week we look at how this thinking gave us cybernetics, several horror movies and a modern scientist determined to prove that plants really can think for themselves. We also revisit the Findhorn garden, the god Pan, and the potato king.

When psychiatrist Dr. Richard Gallagher was asked by an Exorcist to assess someone who claimed to be possessed by demons, the Dr. was skeptical about the idea of demonic possession. However, after working with Exorcist for many years he came to believe, that though most cases were due to psychological conditions, some were genuine cases of demonic involvement. We discuss his book "Demonic Foes'

In 1986 two smartly dressed men attacked newscaster Dan Rather, shouting at him "Kenneth, what's the frequency?". The story that followed saw the incident featured in literature, art and music. It led to a murder from an alleged time traveller, and sparked a conspiracy involving the KGB and the CIA.

We often think of UFOs as huge machines which have travelled millions of miles to observe Earth. But what if they weren't all that way? Tiny drones, small machines and an infamous ball all appear this week - as does a scientific look at some strange material found in the ocean, verified by academic sources.

A few weeks ago we looked at a scientific paper that put forward a quantum theory to explain time slips. Could it also explain what we regard as ghosts? We travelled through space and time (mainly our research material and the internet) to find out.

We begin by examining the beliefs of the Hopi people, where we realise that the warnings given to them by the Ant People sound very like the messages given to contactees in the latter part of the 20th century. Is there a pro-human agenda amongst our celestial cousins, or is something much darker keeping itself veiled? Where we end up is, once again, a bit disturbing.

Historical UFO sightings were often controlled by the Church, but as newspapers began to invent journalism the reports became more reliable. Maybe. In this episode we look at a curious sighting by a group of fishermen in 1665, and one author's take on the case. Was it aliens, a miracle or merely some birds? Lets find out...

Stories of folk encountering people and places from the past are more common than you might first imagine, but what could cause this phenomenon? Is it related to ghosts, or is there a scientific theory to explain it all?

We've investigated werewolves, but Nessie and Bigfoot also capture the imagination of paranormal hunters. Lots of evidence exists to prove or disprove the reality of both, so in this episode we focus on the Cassiopeia Project transcripts which offer a different perspective to those looking for answers.

Transdimensional beings, CIA archives and a man who remote-viewed the weird all inform this week's episode.

Many people have an irrational fear of dolls, but for some their fears become real. We look into dolls that are said to be haunted. We feature haunted doll superstars Robert the Doll, and Annabel. We have an Elsa doll from Frozen that refuses to be let go. A Barbie who was summoned to a temple by a ghost, and a Japanese doll that seems to be becoming human.

We went in search of Werewolves, Black Eyed Kids, Ghosts, UFOs, and the cryptid known as The Pig Man. But what terrified us more was our encounters with more earthly creatures.

Life on board a WWI or WWII submarine was tough enough (cramp conditions, poor sanitation, and the threat of imminent death), without being haunted by dead crew members, attacked by giant sea monsters, or having to patrol the Bermuda Triangle. Well some subs had to deal with the supernatural, as well as the sea.

The Sonora Aero Club may not have existed, but if their documented fuel system could be true - does that make the story more believable? Delving into the 1896 airship flap of California, we look at some recent evidence that points to the possibility that navigable flight in the 1830's was real.
