Sacrifice is an essential part of our walk with God. Serving God may sometimes require us to give our time, energy, resources, comfort, and even our personal desires for the sake of His Kingdom. But whenever we sacrifice for God, we can be confident that nothing done for Him is ever wasted.

There is a unique joy that comes from knowing that your life is contributing to something bigger than yourself. When you serve, give, pray, evangelize, support the work of God, or stand faithfully in your assignment, you may not always see immediate results, but God sees every sacrifice.

Seeking the Kingdom of God means putting God first in every area of your life, making His will, His righteousness, and His purposes your highest priority.

Success and influence begins with purpose. Purpose is the secret to success. Purpose is power, and it’s the key that unlocks reality.

The crucifixion of Jesus Christ is the greatest demonstration of God’s love for humanity. On the cross, Jesus bore the weight of our sins, shame, pain, and punishment. He who knew no sin became sin for us so that we might be made righteous before God. The crucifixion reminds us that sin has a cost, but Christ paid that price in full.

Every nail that pierced His hands and feet speaks of sacrifice. Every drop of blood that flowed from His body speaks of mercy, redemption, and forgiveness. Jesus did not go to the cross because He was powerless; He went because of His great love for us. He chose the cross so that we could receive life, hope, and salvation.

As children of God, it is one of our great privileges — and a calling for each of us to do His work. Doing the work of God involves actions inspired by faith, devotion and compassion, such as acts of kindness, helping the needy, and spreading the gospel, to glorify God and fulfill a purpose He has given. The work of God requires a lot of effort and laziness cannot get the job done.
