The Pal's X Graham Scott Fleming Episode 222 While beginning to craft his unique sound in the country genre, Graham found an incredible career in Broadway, landing the lead role of Charlie in “Kinky Boots,” and working directly with Cindy Lauper. He soon moved to NYC to fully emerge himself in his broadway career, which led to an international tour with “Hair” and performing at the Tony Awards. Growing up in Elmvale, ON, Graham would have no idea when he won a local singing contest in high school that music and performance would become such an internal part of his life. Following his Broadway run, Graham returned home in 2020 and continued to pursue a solo career in the genre that raised him. After earning a Top 40 single at country radio as an independent artist with the release of “Better Man,” he signed a record deal with Open Road Recordings and RGK Entertainment in 2022. Welcome back to Episode 217 of The Pal’s Podcast. This week we had electronic music duo Young Bombs in the studio. Comprised of DJ/Producers Tristan Norton and Martin Kottmeier, Young Bombs began in 2014 primarily making remixes most notably for The Chainsmokers, Lady Gaga, Billie Eilish and many more. They began their rise to fame in 2017 when they played major music festivals such as; Lollapalooza, Firefly Music Festival, Life is Beautiful, Ultra and many more. In 2020 they released their debut EP “The Young Bombs Show” and in 2021 they received a Juno Award nomination for Breakthrough Group of the Year. Recently in April of 2023, they released their new single “Bad” and the remix which is coming out April 21st.

Released on January 13th, her latest single “Over Tonight” was produced by favored collaborators The Eleven, and features writing from Brett McLaughlin (Troye Sivan, Lauv, Sabrina Carpenter, Selena Gomez) and Asia Whiteacre (Bebe Rexha, Louis Tomlinson, Hailee Steinfeld, 5 Seconds of Summer). From a young age, Kaleb had no choice but to be resilient. His hockey career was threatened before it started by a diagnosis of Type 1 diabetes at 4 years old. Yet Kaleb proved his doctors and coaches wrong by going on to play hockey at an elite level. During his career, he played for the Humboldt Broncos - a team that made national news when their bus collided with a transport truck. The accident took away 16 lives and left only 13 survivors, many of them with lifelong injuries. Kaleb is one of the survivors. Once he recovered, Kaleb returned to the ice to play for York University’s varsity hockey team. While at York, he earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree graduating as Valedictorian, Magna Cum Laude, and Varsity Athletics Male Graduate of the Year in April 2021. Currently, Kaleb is studying to become a Doctor of Chiropractic. Kaleb is dedicated to helping others, whether that’s through sharing his story or through his community volunteer work. He is the founder of Dahlgren’s Diabeauties, a mentorship program designed in 2017 to give back to children with Type 1 diabetes. Through this program, he is able to raise awareness, support, and guidance to his community of Diabeauties. Kaleb is also the recipient of the Canadian Volunteer Award for Emerging Leader of the Prairies, the National JDRF Young Volunteer of the Year award, and dozens of other accolades for his community service. Somewhere in the whirlwind of life, Kaleb found time to become a #1 Bestselling Author for his memoir, Crossroads, the story of his life thus far. As a speaker, he is known for his honesty, his inspiration, and his captivating storytelling.
