The M word17 Nov 202100:29:44

Movember, moustaches, and mental health.

We can’t believe it’s taken until our 11th episode to get the men of Pace on the show (it’s taken this long to persuade them, let's be honest!).

It only seems right that for Movember, we pass the mic to the boys for a necessary conversation about men’s mental health. This month, we’re joined by our very own Jon Butterworth (creative director), Dan Kemp (PR and social media executive), and Alex Chapple (designer), for an open and honest conversation about the M-word and what it means to them.

The unwritten first rule of Men’s club is famously, not to talk about it! But, in a post-lockdown world, where the number of men taking their own lives is at an all-time high, it’s time to break the rules.

If you or anyone you know is struggling with any of the issues mentioned you can contact Samaritans for free on 116 123.

Episode 9: Saving the planet with plastic roads 22 Sep 202100:38:14

This month, we’re talking all things sustainable as it’s #RecyclingWeek! We’re joined by Toby McCartney - co-founder and CEO of the plastic road company MacRebur - to find out more about how thinking innovatively can truly change the world.

Toby - along with friends Gordon and Nick - established MacRebur in 2016 to solve two big problems: the waste plastic epidemic and poor quality roads. From their base in Scotland, the team developed a process that incorporates waste plastic into the bitumen used in the construction of roads. This never-before-seen product creates better quality roads with fewer potholes and diverts waste plastic away from landfills, oceans and the environment. It’s a win, win, win!

Now being laid all over the world, MacRebur’s roads are ‘paving the way’ for a more sustainable future. We’re incredibly proud to manage MacRebur’s PR, so if you want to find out more please get in touch!
