She was named one of the nation’s 15 BEST BOSSES by Fortune Small Business and Winning Workplaces, named by Business Insurance as one of the 80 “Women to Watch” and an “Elite Women” by Insurance Business America, and was twice listed as a Nonprofit Times Power & Influence Top 50. She holds a BA with highest honors in Economics from the University of California, Santa Cruz and a Master’s in Public Policy from the University of California, Berkeley.
