And here we are at the first episode of 2023. I decided to devote this episode from a very important topic as the organization of security, that of the audience and artists, a subject that is often underestimated. In 2022 I attended several events and was able to observe different situations: fortunately everything always went well but it made me think. This is where the intention of this dialogue with Giordano Ferrari comes from, with whom we tackle some practical examples and find out what the cornerstones of good organization are. I really hope that this episode can help promoters think about how to organize themselves and make the right investments in specialized personnel. | Music To Live For With Shanti - EP. 35 - Fitness and Music | 18 Jun 2022 | 00:58:05 | |
I have always thought that the relationship between mind and body is fundamental: whatever our goal is. I have often heard of musicians having problems with back or limb pain, and I personally have suffered from back problems. It was not always the consequence of uncomfortable positions or because of excessive weights but also due to stress I had at work. In this episode I talk with Thomas Stauffer about this ever-present issue in the hope that I can give an excellent perspective on the issue. Remember, "Mens sana in corpore sano."

| Music To Live For With Shanti - EP. 14 - Derek Ski - XrepresentX (US) | 15 May 2021 | 01:16:20 | |
In several episodes of my podcast I have mentioned the Straight Edge and shared ideas and opinions with people who also hold this music-related philosophy of life dear. For some time now I've felt the need to clarify the topic and introduce it to the artistic and musical community not directly connected to the world of hardcore punk and metal. I could only have a better guest than Derek Ski, lead singer of the band XrepresentX - a band that bases its existence on SxE. We also discuss his experience in Europe and which led him to become a German teacher in Pennsylvania. His passion for music has led him to meet new friends in a country foreign to him. Song in the end: “What you deserve” by XrepresentX. Derek Ski XrepresentX (US) Contact the Podcast: musictoliveforwithshanti@gmail.com

| Music To Live For With Shanti - EP. 13 - Eric Dillon - Zombie Apocalypse / Shai Hulud (US) | 30 Apr 2021 | 01:38:24 | |
I love Frank Herbert's book Dune - and I love the metalcore band Shai Hulud just as much. This led me to meet the band Zombie Apocalypse and eventually to have a chat with Eric Dillon. Once again, music leads me to combine different interests and meet incredible people. With Eric I have the pleasure to discuss about his musical projects, his experience in the music business and how come Zombie Apocalypse's album "life without pain is a fucking fantasy" has such a sweet and curious cover.
Song in the end: "We still might be dying",by Zombie Apocalypse, Prod. Innerstrenght Records.

| Music To Live For With Shanti - EP. 12 - Sebastian Hayn - Clarinet (IT) | 16 Apr 2021 | 01:14:36 | |
I dedicate this episode to Kim. It was a pleasure to have met you, we will see each other again on the other side. I met Sebastian while working at the Opernhaus Zurich: it was audition time and we just started talking. Keeping in touch with the people we meet in our private or professional lives leads to wonderful experiences like this. Together we decided to talk about what kind of approach Sebastian chose to record his first album. How he found himself abroad and how important it is to create an artistic personality. If you visit his website you will find two very interesting projects: "Let's get ready" and the "Bacco Software". Sebastian also tells us about his musician friends, the British band Will and te people and his experience with the Italian festival Hempiness Music Festival. Song in the end: "Con Brio", played by Sebastian Hayn (Clarinet) and Florian Podgoreanu (Piano) from the Album "Anno 1926".

| Music To Live For With Shanti - EP. 11 - Fabian Ziegler - Percussionist (CH) | 02 Apr 2021 | 01:10:26 | |
For those who don't know, I play the drums: I always wanted to play loud and percussion has always fascinated me. Meeting Fabian at the Davos Festival was an experience that led me to discover this interest and passion for those instruments. To make rhythm and communicate. With the body and instruments - you don't just ear the percussion, you feel it. This is because I consider Fabian to be a modern-day poet who expresses himself on stage in such an engaging way and also knows how to involve his fellow musicians and the audience. On 19.3.2021 he released his first album - a very interesting work that deserves more than a listen. It was really nice to be able to record this episode and I'm curious to see what he will bring us in the future. Song in the end: "Atlantas", composed by John Psathas (2020) played by Fabian Ziegler (Vibraphon) Akvilė Šileikaitė (piano).

| Music To Live For With Shanti - EP. 10 - Michele Bianchi aka Michelino - Vinyl collector/Music aficionado (CH) | 19 Mar 2021 | 01:27:32 | |
I have known Michele for many years now and we grew up in the same music scene. I have always admired his passion for music and the knowledge he acquired by listening to bands I had no idea even existed. Music is meant to be listened to and enjoyed, which is why I wanted to talk to a fan and not necessarily a musician. We talk about our experience and how this passion has evolved and explore different colours of the music scene in Michelino's collection. it's really nice to be able to continue to share this passion with people who have grown up with you.
Song in the end: "If words are silver" by Constant Hunger (CH) prod. Stefano "Orkid" Santo - SPVN Studio.

| Music To Live For With Shanti - EP. 9 - Chiara Opalio - Pianist (IT) | 05 Mar 2021 | 01:14:18 | |
Talking to Chiara was a great pleasure: an energetic personality who inspired me a lot. It is always fascinating to understand how a person finds their instrument and the bond that is created between the two. I had the pleasure of meeting Chiara years ago while working at the Argovia Philharmonic and we spent a couple of weeks together working for the Davos Festival last summer. We discussed the vision of a career and what it means to progress as an artist and as a person. From her beginnings to her decision to settle in Switzerland to the values that have led her to achieve the results of her solo career. Of course, there is no shortage of genuine inspiration to make the most of your life as a musician.
Song in the end: Schubert Impromptu op. 90 N. 1 D 899 played by Chiara Opalio.

It's always a pleasure to have a nice chat with an old friend. This is what happened with Andrea Bizzocchi aka Bizzo San, tattoo artist and musician, who moved from Rimini to Hamburg. We met years ago at a concert and since then we have always been in contact and music has united us deeply. In this episode we discuss values and ideas from the music scene such as straight edge, being vegan and how important it is to listen to what you like. Also, several albums that we have always loved and still love are turning twenty. But that music always has a strong emotional impact on us. Song in the end: Scandal by Locked In prod.
