Jesse Holland, CPM, MBA, is the President and Founder of Sunrise Management & Consulting, bringing over 35 years of real estate expertise to the table. Dave Holland, MBA, CPM, is a seasoned leader in the property management industry with over eight years of experience in creating thriving communities and driving operational excellence. Since joining Sunrise Management & Consulting in 2016, Dave has been instrumental in setting new standards for resident retention, operational efficiency, and maximizing property performance.

As co-founder of Property Gauge, Dave spearheads business development and marketing, using his deep industry knowledge to deliver innovative SaaS solutions that streamline property management processes.
His commitment to pushing the boundaries of traditional practices showcases his passion for data-driven decision-making and operational efficiency.

Dave serves as the 2023-2024 President of the IREM NY Capital Region Chapter, where his leadership has expanded the chapter’s reach, forged valuable partnerships, and enhanced educational offerings. He is also a finalist for the prestigious 2024 IREM REME award for CPM of the Year, with the winner to be announced at the IREM Global Summit in October.

Renee Zahn is a Managing Director of Real Estate for Greystar and oversees the management operations for the Central West division that includes offices in Austin and San Antonio. Her responsibilities include leading the teams that support a 51,000+ unit portfolio, strategic operations for both current and new clients, as well as pre-development consulting.

Since joining Greystar in 2002, Renee has served in every onsite role and operations leadership role. She is very active in the local and state level Apartment Associations. She served the Austin Apartment Association as President in 2018 and will serve as the Texas Apartment Association President in 2025.  Renee works alongside the government affairs team and represents the industry testifying in front of the state legislature on industry related bills.

Renee received her Bachelor of Science in Communication Studies from the University of Texas. Additionally, she holds her Certified Property Manager designation through the Institute of Real Estate Management and a Women’s Leadership Certificate from the Yale School of Management.

Bob Knakal has been a broker in NYC since 1984.

Over that time, he has brokered the sale of over 2,329 buildings having a market value of approximately $22 billion.

For 26 years of those years (1988-2014), he owned and ran Massey Knakal Realty Services which sold more than 3x the number of properties as the #2 firm in NYC from 2001-2014.

Running the firm with a Servant Leadership management style, focusing on empowering everyone on the team, intensely training them and building their self-esteem, led to this overwhelmingly dominant platform.

The firm was sold to Cushman & Wakefield in 2014 for $100 million.

The Massey Knakal Legacy is illustrated by the fact that today in the New York City investment sales market, there are 29 companies, or divisions of companies, that are either owned by, or run by, folks who learned the business at Massey Knakal.

Bob is a prominent thought leader in the commercial real estate business, frequently writing about the market, lecturing on the market and appearing podcasts and national television shows on networks like Fox, CNBC and MSNBC.

As a frustrated (repressed?) architect, David Ohlrich credits Mike Brady with starting him on his real estate journey.

From his first drafting class in high school to his current role running property operations at a fast-growing, boutique, alternative asset management and investment firm, he enjoys all aspects of the built environment and is fascinated by the future “use of space” discussion that much of the commercial, residential, and hospitality world is engaged in.

An accomplished multifamily operations executive with over 25 years of real estate experience, David Ohlrich has successfully led growth and improvement strategies at several of the most innovative and respected real estate operators in the country.

His experience in a wide variety of locations, property types, and ownership structures gives him a unique and valuable perspective on the industry. He thrives on creating and leading teams in pursuit of improving operations and driving value.

David has focused his efforts in residential operations as he believes there is significant opportunity to improve property performance through the use of data and the targeted application of technology to drive success while materially improving not only the experience of the resident but of all stakeholders.

He is a die-hard Michigan Wolverine, a lifelong Washington Capitals fan, and an avid cyclist always looking for that elusive combination of a beautiful day with time for a long ride!

Karen Key is a Division President and leads the Southeast region for Asset Living’s conventional portfolio.

She has worked in the industry for over 20 years, gaining experience and expertise in new developments and lease-ups, value-add and repositions, and build-to-rent communities across the East Coast and Sunbelt regions.

At Asset Living, her goals include driving property operations and assisting clients with evaluating existing and potential investments while cultivating a culture that fosters engaged team members.

Karen is an Executive Certified Property Manager (CPM) through the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM), past president of the IREM Georgia Chapter, and 2022 recipient of the J. Wallace Paletou Award from the IREM Foundation. Karen holds a Bachelor’s Degree of Hospitality Administration and Business Management from Georgia Southern University.

Jeff is currently Chief Operating Officer at Middle Street Partners.

Oversee the company’s operations and lead the asset management team, responsible for executing property level strategies to enhance and protect asset value.

Starting his career in 1990, Carlyle's journey in multifamily residential management includes an impressive combination of corporate and on-site operations.

His expertise covers management, marketing, strategic financial planning, acquisitions, and third-party management.

Carlyle has successfully managed diverse asset types including REIT portfolios, conventional and military housing, low-income tax credit, and HUD communities.

His success stems from his proven ability to lead organizations and teams in executing strategies that maximize NOI goals, enhance asset performance, reposition challenged communities, and strengthen team dynamics.Carlyle holds multiple industry certifications, including CPM & ARM from IREM; HCCP, SHCM from NAHB; C3P from Spectrum; CAM from NAA; and a Military Designation CDPM II from PHMA.

He has been a VA Licensed Realtor since 2005, further solidifying his expertise in the field.

Amanda Cox serves as the Chief Operating Officer for Bellaire Services Corporation and Bellaire Multifamily Management.

Within Bellaire Services Corporation, she leads the team in asset acquisition efforts and monitors performance through the lifecycle of the portfolio.

Within Bellaire Multifamily Management, Amanda supports the property operations team, leads value-add initiatives, and spearheads business development efforts. She is passionate about being a solution to underserved Texas syndications and has successfully built the third party business for the firm directly through referrals who have witnessed and attested to her leadership.

Ms. Cox has spent the last 17 years in multifamily property management, and before joining Bellaire Services Corporation, she was overseeing 11k units amongst 8 markets across Texas, Oklahoma and Arkansas as a Regional Vice President of Operations with one of the largest Texas based property management firms.

She is a member of the Institute of Real Estate Management, of which she served as the President of the Austin Chapter in 2020, and actively holds a seat in the International Governing Council for the organization.

She is a mentor to many and is also a strong believer in knowledge growth, thus she is continuously expanding her industry knowledge beyond her B.A. in Business Management from Texas State University by achieving her CAM in 2013, ARM in 2014, and earned her CPM designation in 2016.

Sherry was most recently the Executive Managing Director of Property Management for RangeWater Residential overseeing the property management group which has oversight for over 100,000 multifamily units located in 15 states.

Sherry joined RangeWater in 2021 with over 20 years of multifamily experience. She is a strategic leader and change initiator with global experience in multifamily housing. During her career, Sherry has overseen over 300,000 units, offering leadership, mentorship and operational expertise to drive business performance which results in business growth. Sherry has extensive experience in high density U.S. markets, Europe, South America and Asia Pacific with emphasis on age restricted developments, lease ups, ESG and corporate/short stay partnerships.

Sherry holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Radford University. She is a Certified Property Manager through the Institute of Real Estate Management and a member of the National Apartment Association, Georgia Apartment Association, and Atlanta Apartment Association. She serves on the board of the Atlanta Apartment Association and is the 2021 past chair of the Atlanta Apartment Association.

As the Senior Vice President of Technology and Strategic Initiatives at Article Student Living, Erica White oversees sustainable platform growth by leading advanced technological business initiatives through data modeling, & process standardization with the goal of delivering value to all stakeholders.

With over 16 years of experience in student, military, and multi-family housing , Erica is the driving force behind the tactical technology, business systems, and reporting strategy. In her role, she oversees the Technology and Innovation team, steering the implementation and management of cutting-edge technology to elevate the company’s core business processes and operations.

In 2022, Erica was named one of GlobeSt.’s CRE Tech Influencers and her in house initiatives have secured consecutive Innovator Awards recognized by Student Housing Business. Beyond her executive role, Erica has navigated various on-site positions and larger-scaled roles, including her tenure as Vice President of Business Systems.

Erica is also Co-Founder of the W. Collective, a leadership networking forum dedicated to empowering women in the student housing industry. This initiative reflects her commitment to fostering diversity and inclusivity, advocating for meaningful connections and mentorship opportunities for women in the industry.
