102: The Messy, Honest Truth About the Last 6 Months
10 Jun 2025
00:06:45
You know those stories where someone almost gave in to fear or self-doubt—but then didn’t, because they’re resilient and perfect?
Yeah… this isn’t that story.
This is about the moments you do spiral. When you sabotage momentum. When you second-guess everything, even though the evidence says you’re doing just fine. When you start tweaking your strategy, rebranding your offers, and changing your mind… not because you’re evolving, but because you’re afraid.
This year didn’t go to plan—and I realized I was the one creating the chaos.
In this episode (originally shared on Instagram), I’m sharing the raw truth of how I got stuck in my head, how I’m finding my way out, and what it really takes to reclaim your power, conviction, and creative momentum—before the plan is perfect.
In this impromptu, riff-while-the-kids-are-home kind of episode, I share the breakthrough that cracked me wide open:
I thought I had a capacity issue. When the real issue was something else entirely...
If you’ve ever told yourself "I just don’t have the time," but deep down you know you could move mountains if you had clarity and direction — this one’s for you.
We’re talking:
The real difference between capacity and time constraint
Why “not enough time” is often just a disguise for something else
How to get back into your power, fast
What I realized needs to change in how I run my business moving forward
It’s raw. It’s honest. It’s the exact message I wish I’d heard months ago.
🎧 Press play — this could change everything for you.
Listen to this episode to decide if now is the right time for you to make a pivot - or if you should hold off. And how to move forward with confidence either way.

26 Apr 2024
00:34:18
I've been an online coach since 2017 and I've made many mistakes along the way... and they are some of the same mistakes that I see my clients making.
And most of the time these mistakes are happening because you want to be a good coach! You want happy clients and you want a successful business. But making these mistakes is actually holding you back from growing your coaching business, gaining momentum, and having the impact you know you're meant for.
That's why in this episode I'm sharing the 5 most common mistakes I see coaches making - and what to do instead!
Overwhelmed by everything you *could* be doing to grow your online coaching business? Tired of sitting down to work and feeling totally lost on where to start? I see you.
That's why in this podcast episode, I'm sharing with you the only 3 things you need to focus on refining and mastering to grow your online coaching business!
In this episode you'll learn:
Why focusing on less is the key to success
The 3 keys to growing your online coaching business
The 4 things to do to connect with your dream clients
The 2 things you need to do to have a high-converting sales process
If you’re an online coach, should you focus on one-on-one coaching first or a scalable group coaching program?
There is a lot of conflicting advice on how to start your online coaching business and it can be overwhelming and confusing to try to figure out what you should focus on.
In this episode, you’ll learn:
The difference between individual coaching and a group coaching program
The pros and cons of running a group coaching program
The pros and cons of offering 1:1 coaching
Whether you should start with private coaching or group coaching first
How focusing on only one offer will simplify your business and make sales easier in the future
The importance of mastering and refining your expertise now
How you can eventually transition from one offer to the other
Let's talk about time management, productivity, and weekly planning! I'm a mom of two, pregnant with baby 3, and on a good week have ~12 hours to work each week.
While I've always been a fan of creating a weekly block schedule, my old way of doing things wasn't working for me in this season of life.
So I decided to standardize my schedule so I never had to plan my week from scratch again. Instead of complicated project lists and plans, I now have a standardized schedule where I know exactly what to do and when to do it.
In this episode I share my schedule with you and share how this has helped me be more productive.

4 reasons I made $65k+ in less than 4 months from coaching
14 Sep 2023
00:23:00
Since re-launching my business at the end of May 2023, I've made over $65,000 in sales in less than 4 months just from coaching!
That's without any fancy sales pages, team members, late nights, or big launches... and during a busy season of life where I went out of town 5+ times and adjusted to life as a mom of 2 under 3.
In this episode, I'm breaking down the 4 things that made all of this possible... and these are 4 things you can start doing immediately!
There's a pattern in the conversations I'm having in the DMs and on coaching calls with my clients: They already know what they want to be doing and how they want to be showing up online... but for some reason they just aren't able to do it. Why?
Because of perfectionism. Because of fear of judgement, failure, or making a mistake.
That's why in this episode I'm talking about how you can overcome perfectionism, take action through the fear, and learn to truly accept and love who you are right now.
This episode is what can take you from ideas and frustration to ACTION and radical self-acceptance. If you are open, listen, and take action, this one episode could be what changes everything for you.

My business has changed a lot of things over the past 11 years—and today, I’m evolving again. ✨
In this episode, I’m pulling back the curtain on the biggest rebrand I’ve done in years. Not just the name or the visuals… but the soul of my work. The programs you’ve known as Iconic and Legendary are becoming something even more aligned: Intuitive Execution.
If you’ve been in my world since 2019, this might feel like a full-circle moment. If you’re newer here, welcome to the beginning of what I’ve always meant to create.
This one mindset shift I made has changed everything in my business. It has made me more creative, more innovative, more excited, and ultimately feel like I'm really doing business MY way.
I believe that this one change in how you think about where you get stuck or face resistance will change everything for you too.
Are you worried about what will happen to your business if and when you become a mom?

Now that I'm 6 months postpartum after the birth of my second child, I'm sharing the differences in both of my postpartum experiences and how each impacted my business... including some valuable lessons learned!
Becoming a mom can make you a more confident, resilient, powerful, and ambitious business owner and a more unapologetic YOU!

Are you undercharging for your services, products, and programs?
Almost every single client that comes into Empowered CEO is undercharging and in need of a price increase… and chances are that you are too!
This can lead to running out of money, a lack of money to reinvest in yourself, not being able to afford a team, or even pay yourself sustainably!
Raising your prices could also mean that you can work less and focus more on serving and delivering!
Regardless of whether you’re a coach, course creator, or service provider, this episode will help you understand how increasing your rates helps you grow your business AND helps your clients experience better results.
That's why in the week's episode, I am sharing why you need to raise your prices right now!

Have you ever delegated something to a team member, thought you explained it perfectly, but you were let down with their work?
This is a really common thing many business owners experience! This experience can honestly make you lose trust in your team members and make you hesitant to delegate again.
There are so many reasons this can happen, but most often this happens because we don't know how to delegate. Most of the time this doesn't happen because you have a bad team member!
The reality is that you can learn and grow and improve going forward. It's not as simple as delegating a task. We need to delegate the outcomes!
That's why in this week's episode, I am sharing how to delegate effectively in your business!

The truth is that you started your business because you wanted freedom, flexibility, or to be able to hit a revenue goal.
Those reasons are amazing but that doesn't mean you are an expert at running a business!
I've made plenty of mistakes in my business. There has been a lot of trial and error and that is okay!
The key thing is to learn and grow from every mistake you make in your business because if not, your growth will be stalled, you will struggle to build a team who fully supports you, have difficulty creating a company culture of happy team members, and ultimately keep getting in your own way.
Your company's growth is 100% dependent on YOUR growth.
That's why today I'm sharing some of the biggest mistakes I've made as the CEO in my own business... and how you can avoid them in yours!

Life and business plans can change a lot in a short amount of time. That is why I always suggest planning in 90-day increments.
I often see people over plan for the next 12 months and it can be hard to stick to a plan for that long when things change so often.
When we try to plan beyond 90 days we end up doing more work than we need to. You can’t accurately know exactly where you will be 90 days from now because you will learn so much.
