10 Cloverfield Lane starts off with an excellent lesson in visual storytelling. We can piece together what is happening with minimal dialogue. The ability to dial up the tension while keeping the audience guessing gives us an excellent window into what our main character, Michelle, may be thinking without her needing to spew it out with bad dialogue. The tipping point, and the moment that could stretch credulity, is when Emmett and Michelle realize the truth about Howard, and the major reveal at the end has divided audiences since it's release. We get into all of it and more. Do not miss this episode of The Lost Drive-In.
