Darren Simpson founded Nanny Bill's during the advent of London's modern food market scene. The brand grew up with the likes of Pizza Pilgrim's, Patty & Bun and Morty & Bob's under the nurturing enthusiasm of Night Tales. Named after his grandmother, put on the road by his wife, and co-run with his sister and friends from his home, Nanny Bill's is a testament to Darren's community.
In the last decade, it has become a spot beloved by so many Londoners and recommended by Off Menu's Ed Gamble on Top Jaw, the Independent, Time Out and London on the Inside.
