Michael is private pilot, military aerospace historian, longtime UFO researcher, lecturer, draftsman, an expert on classified ‘black projects,” UFO crash/retrievals, the government UFO coverup and more. He is the author of “DARK FILES: A Pictorial History of Lost, Forgotten and Obscure UFO Encounters.” He is a frequent guest on radio shows and podcasts.

His book, DARK FILES, presents 61 fully illustrated UFO encounters from around the world. These cases were obtained from real world "boots on the ground" research by gaining access to university archives, multiple UFO research centers, and private collections. All cases presented contain references so that the reader can verify them on their own. Every effort was taken to portray these cases accurately from eyewitness accounts and reports, thereby preserving an important part of our global history. This publication contains never before seen illustrations which make these historically significant UFO cases "come alive.” 

Tonight, Michael will be presenting new cases that he discovered while researching the archives of APRO (The Aerial Phenomena Research Organization) headed by Jim and Coral Lorenzen. This was the first UFO citizen study group to have a major impact on the subject.

Preston Dennett began investigating UFOs and the paranormal in 1986 when he discovered that his family, friends and co-workers were having dramatic unexplained encounters. He has appeared on numerous radio and television programs, including Midnight in the Desert with Art Bell, Coast-to-Coast and also the History Channel’s Deep Sea UFOs and UFO Hunters and Ancient Aliens. His research has been presented in the LA Times, the LA Daily News, the Dallas Morning News and other newspapers. He has taught classes on various paranormal subjects and lectures across the United States.

Dolly Safran has worked as a limo driver, assistant manager at Wendy’s, a zookeeper, a bus driver, a security guard, a nurse, and more, including as a civilian worker for the U.S. Department of the Treasury, and also in the Army as an employee for the U.S. Department of Defense. Her UFO contacts began around age one, and are still ongoing today. Tonight, The Light Gate welcomes lifelong UFO experiencer and author, Steve Boucher. Steve Boucher is an AutoCAD Draftsman who lives in St. Catharines, Ontario. He is also a musician, singer, and fine artist.

Steve has had experiences with non-terrestrial beings since he was a baby. The bulk of his experiences were buried in his subconscious mind for many years until he began to have brief flashes of conscious memory after reading Budd Hopkins’ book ‘Missing Time.’ Steve then wrote to Budd Hopkins and informed him of the memories he was having. Budd then contacted Steve and invited him to come to New York and stay at his art studio in Manhattan for a week. Steve accepted the invitation and during that week in 1984, he underwent 3 hypnosis sessions which revealed that he had experienced repeated visitations from short grey-skinned beings approximately 4 feet tall with large eyes and large heads.

After Steve returned to Canada, he went to a UFO Symposium in Toronto and met up with some people from a group known as CUFORN (The Canadian UFO Research Network). CUFORN has since disbanded, but they took over the case and did a thorough investigation of Steve’s UFO experiences. They scheduled several more hypnosis sessions for him, at which they were present and published the results of the investigation in their CUFORN Journal. The case was also reported in the MUFON Journal and the Flying Saucer Review. To protect his identity at the time, CUFORN gave him a pseudonym (Jack T.)

However, he has decided that now is the time to reveal his identity to the public because he feels that the story needs to be told. Steve has remembered many more details and more experiences have surfaced since the initial investigation took place. Steve holds 2 Canadian patents on a container for making wine at home and a rotary vane engine. And, like many experiencers, he has an amazing connection to nature and animals. Steve Boucher’s book, Beyond the Extraterrestrial Firewall (with a forward by Grant Cameron) is one of few books written by an actual experiencer.

Sadly, Steve Boucher passed away in January 2025. This was one of the last interviews he did.

Tonight, “The Light Gate” welcome back UFO researcher, experiencer, and Quantum Hypnotherapist Martin Rivera. This is a technique first developed by highly regarded author/researcher Dolores Cannon. Martin has been studying the subject of UFOs & ETs for many years. He uses the technique of Quantum Hypnotherapy to help experiencers remember and process their otherworldly encounters. Tonight, “The Light Gate” welcomes UFO experiencer, Susan Ware. 

Susan is an Artist and Designer of Fine Fish and Mermaid Tail Purses, SeaTreasure Jewelry and Magical Fairy Houses. As a young woman, she joined the United States Navy. She is also a lifelong UFO/ET experiencer. In September 1978, she and her friend Karen were on a road-trip across the United States. While crossing the deserts of Utah late at night, they had a missing time encounter that would alter the course of their lives. After years of keeping silent, Susan decided it was time to confront her past and explore the missing time encounter. She contacted John Yost, producer of the award-winning documentary, Alien Abduction Answers, and began a journey of self-discovery. After undergoing quantum hypnosis with Debz Shakti Buller, she recovered her buried memories and learned what happened to her on that fateful night in 1978.It is one of the most astonishing onboard UFO encounters you have ever heard. It has become widely known as the Jack Rabbit Abduction. And once you hear her story, you will know why.

Susan’s story is presented in the book, “Humanoids and High Strangeness: Twenty True UFO Encounters.” Her story has also been presented by MUFON state director, Earl Gray. It became MUFON's case of the year! This is her first public appearance.

Tonight, “The Light Gate” welcomes researcher, presenter, hypnotherapist and author, Yvonne Smith, C.Ht. Yvonne is one of the leading researchers into cases involving onboard encounters and missing time. She has also had some of her own experiences. In this gripping episode, she talks about her own experiences and how she came to work in the field of onboard UFO encounters. 

In 1992, Yvonne founded Close Encounter Resource Organization (CERO), a post-traumatic stress support group for individuals and families having trauma experiences. CERO has been active for 31 years, and has been recognized nationally and internationally by TV and radio. Yvonne became interested in victims of post-traumatic stress disorder (“PTSD”) in the late 1980s.

Then, in 1990, after two years of studies and 1000 hours of internship at California Hypnosis Motivation Institute, the only accredited college of hypnotherapy in the United States, she received her hypnotherapy certification. Specializing in post-traumatic stress disorder cases, she uses her hypnotherapy skills to assist such victims to work through their anxiety, with many of her subjects referred to her by physicians and psychiatrists who believe her expertise can benefit their patients. Many such patients have been doctors, military personnel, domestic and foreign pilots, university professors, and many other backgrounds.

While Yvonne has assisted many stress victims with military or traumatic early life situations, she points out that “PTSD” can also involve difficulties due to common situations such as traffic accidents and individuals who have experienced Close Encounters of the Fourth Kind. Some who have consulted Yvonne include a foreign air force pilot who flew to Los Angeles for sessions with Yvonne due to an experience which caused him unrelenting nightmares for many years, as well as a NATO officer with similar longtime anxiety due to previous military related exposure. In fact, it is not unusual for “military family” members to suffer anxiety due to concerns for their active service member.

Yvonne has co-lectured on tour with Dr. John Mack, head of Harvard University’s psychiatry department, presenting lectures in the United States at M.I.T. and other universities. Yvonne has also lectured for several years at international conferences from South America to Europe, and enjoyed a conference with Apollo 14 astronaut Edgar Mitchell, Major Robert Dean, and Nick Pope, former member of British Defense Department. Yvonne has been on dozens of television programs in the United States and across the world. and is a frequent consultant to producers, directors and actors for film and television programs. She has been a guest on all the major UFO radio shows and podcasts all over the world.

She is the author of the well-received books, "Chosen, From the Alien Hybrid Program to the Fate of the Planet," now in its 3rd edition, and “Coronado: The President, the Secret Service and Alien Abductions," a true account about a mass abduction which occurred in 1994. In these books, Yvonne has taken the time to reveal explicit, dramatic and unedited transcripts of clients’ reliving, during hypnotic regression, their recollections of alien encounters and abductions.

Yvonne is currently working on the manuscript for the "CERO Anniversary book," along with members of the support group, (to be published in Spring of 2024.) Filming is underway for the CERO documentary which will depict the "personal side" of the abduction experience, also due to be released in 2024. On January 1, 2023, Yvonne reached an important milestone of celebrating 32 years of working with UFO abduction cases.

The Light Gate Welcomes Marilynn Hughes. If you have any interest in astral projection and out of body experiences (OBEs), you will want to listen to this show. She received certifications in various psychological and therapeutic modalities including NLP, REBT, CBT, ACT, DBT, MBCT, EFT, TFT, SFBT and NBA Therapies. Marilynn Hughes has authored 109 books, 40 magazines and 18 CD's on Out of Body Travel and Comparative Religious Mysticism including her seminal classic The Mysteries of the Redemption: A Treatise on Out-of-Body Travel and Mysticism, which is in development to create a feature film/tv series based on her experiences. Her out of body travel work has been featured in The Encyclopedia of the Unseen World, by Constance Victoria Briggs and in Extra-Planetary Experiences: Alien Human Contact and the Expansion of Consciousness, (along with Dr. Edgar Mitchell and Ingo Swann) by Dr. Thomas Streicher. KC Armstrong, (Former Producer of the Howard Stern Show), in his book named Marilynn as one of thirteen Simply Amazing Women. Marilynn Hughes has been the subject of several Out of Body Travel Research Studies including The Out-of-Body Experiment by Alex Tsakiris of Skeptiko. Marilynn Hughes and Dr. Rudy Schild (Professor Emeritus Astrophysics Harvard) co-authored a chapter entitled The Science for Moral Law. She has been featured on Coast to Coast AM with George Noory, Midnight in the Desert with Art Bell, the Joan Rivers Show among others. Marilynn Hughes was on the the original board of The Dr. Edgar Mitchell Foundation for Research into Extraordinary Experiences and is a continuing contributor.

She came across her vocation unexpectedly. When she was nine years old, she had her first profound out of body experience wherein she saw the heavens open and a beautiful marble staircase surrounded by angels which led to the throne of God. In this out of body experience, she was told many things, among them that He would return to her later in her life and give her a mission to fulfill in relation to out of body travel. When she was 22 years old, she had her first out-of-body experience in adulthood which began a process of journaling which would unleash thousands of out of body travel and mystical experiences over the next decades.

As result of these words, the vision for The Out-of-Body Travel Foundation was born. Says Marilynn, ‘Our mission came from the words of Mother Teresa, “The greatest disease in the West today is not TB or leprosy; it is being unwanted, unloved, and uncared for. We can cure physical diseases with medicine, but the only cure for loneliness, despair, and hopelessness is love. The poverty in the West is a different kind of poverty -- it is not only a poverty of loneliness but also of spirituality. There's a hunger for love, as there is a hunger for God.”’

The Light Gate welcomes researcher, presenter, author and experiencer, Terence “Terry” Tibando. He has a lot of information to share, not only about UFOs, but his own experiences.

 Terry’s background and understanding of the UFO phenomenon expands over 70 years of personal UFO sightings and ET contact which began when he was five years old, followed by a lifetime of many other-worldly sightings and encounters. Thus, began a journey into the mysterious universe of Unidentified Flying Objects, Extraterrestrial Intelligence and the paranormal. As an experiencer, researcher, and investigator in Ufology he is more than qualified to talk and write with some expertise on this topic.

Like many contactees, Terry learned that other members of his family had their own UFO sightings. Even his father who served in the Royal Canadian Air Force as a Nuclear Civil Defense instructor at the high-security underground facility of the NORAD SAGE site in North Bay, Ontario, had his own amazing UFO sighting. In 1951 he saw a saucer shaped craft emerge from an air force hangar in Moulton AFB that flew into the air, hover briefly and then descended back into the hangar.

In the late sixties, Terry began attending UFO lectures while in high school, meeting such people as Dr. Edward Edwards, a linguist from the University of Victoria and Daniel Fry from New Mexico, USA, a well-known contactee and UFO author. Terry attended the University of Victoria majoring in astronomy, physics, math and other sciences, yet, everything he was studying was always leading him in his search for answers that would bring him closer to understanding the nature and reality of extraterrestrial life in the universe. During those university years other alien craft were sighted near his family's home in Victoria leading Terry to theorize that a possible ET undersea base exists off the coast of Vancouver Island which would account for the numerous UFO sightings seen over the Island. He was a former member of APRO (Aerial Phenomenon Research Organization) and its Canadian sister organization CAPRO during the sixties.

His investigative research culminated back in the summer of 1996 when he met with Dr. Steven M. Greer during a one week "Ambassadors to the Universe" training seminar. They soon discovered that they shared similar UFO/ETI experiences during their early life as well as being "spiritual brothers" as fellow members of the Baha'i Faith. Terry was a standing-in speaker for Dorothy Izzat of Vancouver at the Bellingham UFO Group (BUFOG) UFO seminar in 1996, and as a panel speaker along with Peter Davenport from NUFORC and Sharon Filip, alien abduction researcher. He has talked on the Grimerica blog talk radio and been interviewed on the Discovery Channel during their "Alien Week" series in 1997 which had two ET spacecraft show up during the TV interview.

He has been interviewed on BCTV News, and appeared briefly in Dr. Greer's successful documentary movie "Sirius" and was a major financial contributor to the current documentary "Unacknowledged!" He was instrumental in coordinating, hosting, and emceeing the first Disclosure Project event on UFOs and ETS in Canada as a part of Dr. Greer's Disclosure Witness Tour held at Simon Fraser University in Vancouver on September 9, 2001, which included guest speakers Dr. Steven Greer, Dr. Carol Rosin and Dr, Alfred Webre. For the last 30 years, Terry has lead teams of people on field expeditions as the CSETI Vancouver Coordinator successfully establishing contact and communications with extraterrestrial intelligences visiting the Earth.

He is the author of the massive six-volume books titled, “A Citizens Disclosure on UFOs and ETI.” Each volume, 1 through 6 covers different aspects of the UFO phenomenon. He has appeared on many of the major UFO podcasts such as Fade to Black with Jimmy Church, Everything Imaginable with Gary Cocciello, the UnX podcast with Margie Kay, UFO Paranormal with Jim Harold and many others, including tonight on The Light Gate!
