CARRINGTON is a Detroit native who began her music career two years ago! Her artistry consists of every genre of music including smooth R&B, house music, pop, hip hop, jazz, and opera! She is also the founder of Creatively Socializing the Vision, which specializes in health and wellness to everyone. But more importantly, serves as a safe space for artists to get better physically and mentally. In April of this year, CARRINGTON released her latest single entitled Between the Stars and serves as both a double meaning to the sky and the world surrounding the spotlight. Today we are discussing the legacy of Sugar Chile Robinson. Sugar Chile was an amazing child prodigy that could play the piano and sing the blues at only two years old. His piano playing style helped emerged a new genre of blues music called boogie-woogie. She classifies herself as being an indie darling, alternative R&B songstress and lowkey popstar. Her song Easy Baby has beenon commercials and televisionshows such as the Netflix drama series,Dear White People. Recently, she released her third EP, arrhythmia, dealing with matters of the heart. Listen as she talks about her experience being one of the few Black kids in school, how she wants to make pop music fun again, the legacy she wants to leave behind, and so much more!

A musical family dynasty from Memphis, Tennessee and moved to Los Angeles in the late 1960s. From then on, The Sylvers became one of the most popular family groups in the 70s with hits like Wish That I Could Talk to You, Boogie Fever, Hot Line and many more! Join Kevaun as he discusses their history, personal struggles, and especially their incredible music!

George was a very popular artist who had two famous songs (The Laughing Song and The Whistling Coon) that would follow him all the way until his untimely demise in 1914.
