| Editor's Note #94 | 20 Oct 2026 | 01:42:44 | |
And now, for a normal one! Show Notes: Run Time: 1:42:43 We are excited to be back at normal-style Editor's Notes with very fun and lightweight questions! But first, a schedule:
Then, we get into all manner of questions and have a blast doing so! Join us next time for Episode #333: a team-up between Fanatic and Blood Countess?! How could that be?!?!
| Episode #332 - Writers' Room: Dark Watch Vol. 1 #64-#66 "A Mr. Jitters Dark Watch Story" | 13 Oct 2026 | 01:54:13 | |
Let's get out of the mouth! Show Notes: Run Time: 1:54:12 It took us a while to get to this one AND THEN we couldn't really stop talking about Star Wars. Sorry about that. Or, you're welcome? Hard to say. Then we finally get into it! And we tell a few stories! From a few issues. Actually, there are a lot of ISSUES, though only three comic book issues. It's a pun. Don't worry about it. Plenty of other things to worry about in this episode. Join us this coming Thursday evening for the live recording of Editor's Note #94! How might you join us? By joining the Letters Page Patreon, of course! Check it out! Have no fear; the spooky months are off to a great start!
| Episode #331 - Writers' Room: Tome of the Bizarre Vol. 3 #49 "The Argent Adept vs The Phantom of the Opera" | 06 Oct 2026 | 01:32:32 | |
Close your eyes and let your music set you free... only then can you belong to me! Show Notes: Run Time: 1:32:31 We learn a lot about this story in the telling... and we love it! We hope you do, too! We've already recorded next week's episode (which is the Dark Watch Mr. Jitters story), but we'll cover any follow-up questions from that one in a few weeks, as per usual. So, listen, enjoy, and let us know if you have any questions using our handy form! That's all I ask of you.
| Episode #330 - Writers' Room: Prime Wardens Vol. 1 #8-#9 "Prime Wardens Power Swap" | 29 Sep 2026 | 01:54:49 | |
A classic Prime Wardens tale featuring a classic Prime Wardens villain in a classic Prime Wardens location! Show Notes: Run Time: 1:54:48 We recorded this one a bit early (and, spoilers, we also recorded the next episode a bit early!) but don't let that fool you — we definitely know everything going on in this story! Or, at least, now we do. You'll get to hear us figure it all out on the air! Questions about what the heck, who the heck, and where the heck we're talking about? Great! We've got a form for that. We're about to enter SpooOOOoooOOOoooky month! Be prepared!
| |||
| Editor's Note #93 | 22 Sep 2026 | ||
It's time for us to be oh so wrong about science! Show Notes: Run Time: 2:55:41 Who am I kidding? We're almost always wrong about science! But this episode proves it! But first, an upcoming schedule:
Then, we get to SO MANY letters! We did manage to knock them all out (unlike our defeat at the hands of the ill-fated Tango-sode), but at such cost that it took Trevor all night to render the episode! Sorry, Trevor! We'll try to stick to closer to 2 hours than three... Unrelated to science, here are some character sketches from a recent episode: Frankenstein: Body-Builder: Kakugo: Were they what you expected? Or even more awesome? Got some letters for us? We want to read them! Send them in here!
| Episode #329 - Writers' Room: Ra: God of the Sun #387-#389 "The Sobek Event" | 15 Sep 2026 | 02:03:10 | |
Never trust a crocodile smile! Show Notes: Run Time: 2:03:09 Come hear a tale! A tale of Chester Beech! We craft much of it on the air, even! But not all of it! You'll just have to listen and find out! Next week is the time of a LIVE Editor's Note, but this one will be happening in an ancient and historic time of Friday midday, rather than Thursday evening. Just this once! Tune in, if you can! If you've got questions, submit them here! We hope we have answers for you!
| Episode #328 - Writers' Room: Freedom Five #194 "Silver Age Time-Travel Team-Up" | 08 Sep 2026 | 01:50:48 | |
Gotta go back in time! Show Notes: Run Time: 1:50:47 We came in with barely a plan at all on this one, and then everything still changed... and yet! Somehow! We prevailed! What a tale. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do! Lots of interesting tidbits in this one, both on purpose and entirely accidental. And then answers? To your questions?! You'd better believe it. Join us next week for Episode #329, all about the Sobek event! Get your questions in now! And keep on saving that dang Multiverse!
| Episode #327 - Creative Process: Two New Heroes We Somewhat Recently Made Up | 01 Sep 2026 | 02:05:15 | |
It's our first Creative Process in quite some time! Show Notes: Run Time: 2:05:14 I was all set to read two long-form bios today... but it turns out, that's insufficient. So, buckle up! We've got a lot to get through today. How did you feel about the bio reading format? It's not a thing we're liking to do a LOT of, but it could certainly come up again, now that I've had so much writing time. Either way, let us know your thoughts! Ask us your questions! Write in letters here!
| |||
| Episode #326 - Writers' Room: Mystery Comics Vol. 2 #266 & #267 "Stealth Suit Bunker" | 25 Aug 2026 | 01:56:48 | |
Let's get sneaky! Show Notes: Run Time: 1:56:47 We thought knew a lot about this story going into it, but clearly not as much as we thought! Listen as we discover what we don't know, fill in the gaps, and come up with a story that we're quite proud of by the end. We've got a lot of cool episodes coming up, so be sure to get your questions in early and often! Send them here! And, as always, keep on saving the Multiverse!
| Editor's Note #92 | 18 Aug 2026 | 02:09:04 | |
The overly-ambitious attempt at a Tango-sode! Show Notes: Run Time: 2:09:03 So, Tango began a relisten a couple years ago, and wrote in some great letters along the way, and we attempt to get through all of them this Editor's Note. But first, an upcoming schedule!
Exciting stuff to look forward to! OK, back to the Tango-sode, in which you get to hear by the end of it how everything falls apart. But then! It gives us an angle for some future content and a way to make everything work out for the best! All's well that ends well, or so some say! Join us next week for an episode about Stealth Suit Bunker! Until then, keep on saving the Multiverse!
| Gen Con Live 2026! | 11 Aug 2026 | 01:46:58 | |
We had a fantastic time at Gen Con this year! And so many of you were a big part of it! This year's Letters Page Live was a delightful and frankly much-needed return to normal, but with QUITE the turn out! We more than filled the notable space that Gen Con provided for us for our podcasting needs, and you all more than filled the time with fantastic questions! Right off the bat, we were challenged to keep it truthful all episode, which is a mighty ask indeed! However, we did our best, and I think we succeeded, and even gave away more than we'd intended! So, that all sounds like a pretty good outcome to me. Oh, and Trevor is working on the video for this event, so you can look forward to seeing that, when we have it! Next week will be this month's Editor's Note, which means that if you're on our Patreon, you can join us this coming Thursday evening for our live recording! Come join us! We hope to see you then!
| "We Were at Gen Con so No Episode"-Sode | 04 Aug 2026 | 00:04:48 | |
It was really great getting to see so many of you at Gen Con this year. You're the best, and we're incredibly honored to have you all as listeners, as fans, and as an important part of the extended Sentinels family. We had a very truthy Gen Con 2026 Live show, and we look forward to you being able to hear it in episode form next week! Until then, Adam and I are going to pass the heck out for a few days. Thanks again, everyone. You truly saved the Multiverse.
| Episode #325 - Writers' Room: Justice Comics #675 "Wipeout vs Deadline" | 28 Jul 2026 | 02:47:17 | |
Wipeout AND Deadline?! How did this happen? When did this happen?! WHAT HAPPENED?!?! Show Notes: Run Time: 2:47:16 We had a great time in the Writers' Room with this one, building a brand-new issue of Justice Comics #675 completely on the air! What starts as a straight-up showdown between Wipeout and Deadline rapidly spirals into territory neither of us anticipated... except for the mall. To be entirely honest with you, we 100% expected the mall. After putting the full story together, we dive into your letters! We're at Gen Con this week! Come see Greater Than Games's smallest ever Gen Con booth presence in Booth #2856, and definitely come to The Letters Page Podcast Live recording Saturday morning! (And if you want to show up early, the Play Greater Podcast will be in the same place, right before TLP!) Got questions about this issue, upcoming topics, or obscure Sentinel Comics lore? Send them in using the letter submission form! We'll be back after Gen Con!
| Editor's Note #91 | 21 Jul 2026 | 02:05:59 | |
The last live show before the next live show, which is next week! Show Notes: Run Time: 2:05:58 This Editor's Note was recorded live last Thursday, July 16th, 2026, and the audience was great! Always a delight to hear from everyone and get to answer your questions in real time. Gen Con is next week, and you can hear it in our voices! We're looking forward to it, though it will undoubtedly be a hectic time. Here's the upcoming schedule!
Only one "normal" episode next month! Strange times, these! We answer so many random questions that slipped through the cracks in the last few years, ranging from extradimensional beings to games to death to creators to costumes to events to immortality to gods to variants to art to goofs to comics and MORE! A good time was had, and hopefully more questions were answered than raised. Join us next Tuesday for Episode #325 - Writers' Room: Wipeout vs Deadline! I wonder what that episode will be about... And we hope to see as many of you as possible at Gen Con next week!
| Episode #324 - Writers' Room: Fanatic Vol. 2 #173 "An Æternal Prince as a Scion" | 14 Jul 2026 | 02:08:38 | |
From Prince to Scion? What a terrible road! Show Notes: Run Time: 2:08:37 We tell you a story, create a character, tell more story, and make up and/or reveal more details! And then, following the standard pattern, we read and answer your letters! This Thursday we'll be recording the upcoming Editor's Note episode live on Thursday evening at 6 PM, Central time! If you're on The Letters Page Patreon, you can join us for that livestream, and if you're a Contributor, you can be part of chat and have your questions read on air! We hope to see you there!
| Episode #323 - Writers' Room: Void Guard #3 "The Idealist in a Noir Story" | 07 Jul 2026 | 02:08:29 | |
A story from the Void Guard book?! About time. Show Notes: Run Time: 2:08:28 It's odd to see a book change genre in the very third issue. How did this happen? What happened in issues #1 and #2? What happens after this story? While I cannot promise complete satisfaction on all of those fronts, rest assured that this episode at least touches on all of that! And more! And introduces a villainous force that's been hiding in the shadows for some time... Lots of good letters in this episode, especially in response to the Quetzalcoatl / 6th Sun story. If you want to get your letters in to an upcoming episode of this very show, use our submission form to send one in! And also check out The Letters Page Podcast Patreon! It's a great way to connect with a VERY cool and active community, and also support us while we keep telling these stories! Thank you, Patreon supporters! We look forward to telling you an Æternal tale next week!
| Episode #322 - Writers' Room: Virtuoso of the Void Vol. 2 #30 "Rambler calls in a debt" | 30 Jun 2026 | 02:14:07 | |
What's with all the princesses?! Show Notes: Run Time: 2:14:06 We have not figured out how to keep these episodes under two hours. That (and the fact that June had 5 Tuesdays) has jumped us up a tier in monthly hosting costs. We pay for our long-winded crimes! But, that just means we have to keep putting out Top Content for you! And we pledge to do our best! Join us for a silly romp through a couple stories with an UNREASONABLY HIGH number name drops. Is it a good story? Well, it might be more than one! Do you get satisfying answers to all your questions? I mean, "all" is such a weighted word. Surely not, right? Maybe some? Listen and find out! We had a lot of fun with this one, and we're looking forward to next week's episode about Idealist in a Noir story! Send in your letters here!
| Editor's Note #90 | 23 Jun 2026 | 02:27:36 | |
We're live again! Against all odds! Can you believe it?! Show Notes: Run Time: 2:27:35 That's right, this is a long one. And that's after Trevor edited out all our extraneous nonsense! (Don't worry; he left plenty of nonsense in.) But, yeah, we were recording for over 3 hours. We're recording on Thursday evenings now, so hopefully you can join us for live shows more often! Speaking of schedules, here's next month's schedule:
Then, we answer SO many questions. We're thrilled to have gotten so many letters, and they all meant so much to us... but we couldn't possibly read them all on the air! We did a lot, and we had a great time doing so. And taking so many questions from the chat! Join us next week for a Rambler episode! We'll see you there!
| Episode #321 - Tome of the Bizarre Vol. 4 #56-58 | 16 Jun 2026 | 02:09:28 | |
The title of this episode is misleading... Show Notes: Run Time: 2: That's right, another 2+ hour episode, but we actually cover a LOT of material in that time! I promise. We start off with some goofs, then some discussion of the method of upcoming episodes, and then we finally get into it! Re: the teaser line at the very top of this episode description, it's true that the title is leaving something out... This episode also includes Arcane Tales Vol. 2 #596-597! Adam, slacker that he is, only did covers for THREE of the five issues covered in today's episode. Psh. Spoilers ahead! Here's the next cover: And then the third cover! In case you couldn't tell, all three go together! Here's that majestic work: Astounding. Join us next week for Editor's Note #90! And if you're on The Letters Page Patreon, you can join us this Thursday evening on the GTG YouTube page at 6 PM Central for the live recording! We'll send a link out via Patreon that evening. Also! Got letters for us? Send them in here! Keep on saving the Multiverse!
| Episode #320 - Writer's Room: Cosmic Tales Vol. 2 #244 | 09 Jun 2026 | 02:18:25 | |
Who is going to space?! Run Time: 2:18:24 We crafted twice, told once for this one! We planned out the majority of this story before recording... and yet, we still crafted quite a bit of lore on the air, in a variety of ways that surprised even us! We tell the full arc of this story, and more! We just keep making things up? Clearly, we missed doing this. Next week's episode is all about the Rise of the 6th Sun! Questions about that? Use our handy form!
| Episode #319 - Writers' Room: Freedom Five #618 | 02 Jun 2026 | 02:15:49 | |
Time for a speedy story! Show Notes: Run Time: 2:15:49 I'll tell you, I'm not sure how it is that last week's episode ended up under 90 minutes and this one took over two hours, but here we are! We go into the publication history of Friction a bit, dig into a few of her other stories, and then start crafting this one, a brand new tale that we create entirely on the air! Oh, and because I know Walking Target will want it, here's the spelling of a name: Maisie Murphy We're into June now! Send us your questions about this episode, future episodes, and anything Sentinel Comics that you want to know, using this link! Next week's episode will be a space opera?! How will we pull that off?! Join us and find out!
| Episode #318 - Writers' Room: A Day in the Life: Benchmark | 26 May 2026 | 01:25:37 | |
Are you ready for the New Standard? Show Notes: Run Time: 1:25:36 We're back at it, and oh so happy to be here! After last week's long-awaited return to voting, we're excited to announce an upcoming schedule! For the first time in over a year!
A thrilling June to look forward to! Then, we get right to it, and the Benchmark stories unfold quickly and relatively smoothly. We have some ideas of what happens (or at least where it goes) in advance, but we discover and create a lot on the air, as well! We very happy to be back in the swing of things. Join us next week for Episode #319, which is a Friction story that's not part of the Vengeance event! Get your questions in here! And don't forget to check out our Patreon!
| Episode #317 - Writers' Room: Justice Comics #384 | 19 May 2026 | 01:56:54 | |
A triumphant return! But is it ever that easy? Show Notes: Run Time: 1:56:53 So much to cover! We're back, we're excited, and we have so many things to share with you! We're working on more game content, more Sentinels stories, and a whole Multiverse to get spun back up on! Adam and I have not been idle, and we can't wait to give you more Multiverse to save and to savor as soon as we can. Greater Than Games is back, as well! Learn more at www.greaterthan.games! Please do consider joining us on The Letters Page Patreon, as we need your support now more than ever. The topic of this episode came not from Patreon voting, as we usually do, but from the moment we find ourselves in. However, next week, our episode is "A Day in the Life: Benchmark", as we were supposed have done over a year ago. What comes after that? You decide! We've got topics up for voting on a poll! We need your opinions! We'll announce what upcoming schedule you've determined next episode. Whew! Then, after all that, we get back to telling stories! We had some knowledge and ideas about this Legacy & The Wraith story in advance, but we craft a lot of it live on air. It's both a return to form and also a chance for us to knock the rust off, as we're a little out of practice for some reason. Thanks for holding on, sticking with us, and tuning in once again!
| Episode #316 - Writers' Room: Mystery Comics Vol. 2 #307 | 15 Apr 2025 | 02:03:55 | |
A simple episode... about machines? Sort of? Show Notes: Run Time: 2:03:55 We dig into the past of the Order of the Simple Machine, both in comics and in our creative process. We reveal things we've never before said publicly! And then we make up new stuff, too! Join us next week for a live show! We love it when people ask questions live! Genuinely!
| Episode #315 - Writers' Room: Justice Comics #407-408 | 08 Apr 2025 | 02:08:17 | |
Let's Bust some Bunks! Show Notes: Run Time: 2:08:17 Oh no, another long one! Well, at least you get a number of villains out of it! And a couple issues! And a bunch of letters answered! So, pretty usual fare. This story certainly didn't land at the time as the writer hoped it would, and would be remembered largely for the big robot suit fights. But hopefully you enjoyed the story! That's certainly one of our main goals. Join us next week for an episode about your favorite Wraith fighting your favorite Order of the Simple Machines! (We're pretty sure you don't have any other favorite Orders of the Simple Machines. Pretty sure.)
| Episode #314 - Writers' Room: Justice Comics #534-535 | 01 Apr 2025 | 01:21:29 | |
But just who are the April Fools, anyway? Show Notes: Run Time: 1:21:28 We (and just who is we are in unclear) do some goofs, tell some stories, and read your letters! It's just a totally normal episode! Join us next week for more normal episode times, in which we record an episode about the Bunker Busters!
| |||
| Episode #313 - Writer's Room: Mystery Comics Vol. 2 #106 | 25 Mar 2025 | 01:48:50 | |
We don't want to bug you, so please bear with us... Show Notes: 1:48:49 Adam and I kick it off with talking about how we haven't done a good job with Bugbear... and the ultimate result by the end of the episode is this cover, so, take that as you will. Regardless, we definitely do a bunch of Bugbear work, and answer a bunch of Bugbear letters! Hopefully everyone has a better feel for the character now! We're about to head into April! Hold on tight!
| Editor's Note #89 | 18 Mar 2025 | 02:06:08 | |
Another live show! Show Notes: Run Time: 2:06:07 Over two hours?! Yes, but just barely! Look, we had a lot to go through, and that makes us all smartthinkers, don't you think? Here's the upcoming schedule:
We finally get through a backlog of questions from a very smart thinking listener, and we also take a pile of live questions from the chat! Join us next week for a Bugbear story!
| Episode #312 - Writers' Room: Ra: God of the Sun #1 | 11 Mar 2025 | 01:29:30 | |
We're number 1! Or, at least, the issue this episode is about is #1! Show Notes: Run Time: 1:29:29 Hey! It's time to introduce a character who has been around for a long time but we've barely talked about! No, not Ra. We've said so much about him. Instead, we finally talk about Calypso! (And just in time for the upcoming Bugbear episode...) But before that, join us next week for a live show! Are you on The Patreon? You should be! Join us!
| Episode #311 - Writers' Room: Prime Wardens Vol. 1 #71 | 04 Mar 2025 | 01:38:26 | |
Vampires! In March? I guess so! Show Notes: Run Time: 1:38:25 We get to do a bunch of storytelling things in this story that we've wanted to attempt for some time and haven't really had the opportunity to do so. Does this episode mark the beginning of a new era of The Letters Page? Well, I wouldn't go THAT far. But we did have a lot of fun, and we hope you enjoy the story! Join us next week for a Writers' Room episode about Calpyso and Ra!
| |||
| Episode #310 - Creative Process: Other Scions of OblivAeon | 25 Feb 2025 | 01:57:02 | |
More Scions?! Sounds like a bad idea... Show Notes: Run Time: 1:57:01 We have a few ideas, but we're also creating mostly blind, which is often how we like it! We make up some Scions (and hint at others) and then answer a bunch of questions! That's how these things go! Join us next week when we kick off March with a Prime Wardens story... with vampires!
| Editor's Note #88 | 18 Feb 2025 | 02:05:01 | |
We're back and we're live and we're gonna say a bunch of things! Show Notes: Run Time: 2:05:00 We haven't talked much this month about love and/or romance, but that ends now! We're making this happen! Or, at least, we're gonna take a swing at it! Here's what we'll be talking about next month!
Love, meta things, meta-meta things, and more! In just over two hours! What more could you ask for? A couple of papers about a programming language with Sentinels references? Deal! Look here and here! Join us next week for a Scionic Creative Process!
| Episode #309 - Writers' Room: Disparation Vol. 2 #17 | 11 Feb 2025 | 01:30:08 | |
What bizarre vision have we crafted this time?! Show Notes: Run Time: 1:30:08 Man, the story on this one came together QUICK! Especially for something that we knew so little about at the start. Pretty cool! And good thing, too, as there were a BUNCH of follow-up questions from a recent episode about a particular future... Join us this coming Friday for a live show! Want to watch live and even join in the live chat? Consider joining our Patreon!
| Episode #308 - Writers' Room: F.I.L.T.E.R. #4 | 04 Feb 2025 | 01:49:10 | |
K.N.Y.F.E.! No Punch! Show Notes: Run Time: 1:49:09 We may have bit off more than we can chew with this one... but we'll do our best! Actually, it turned out really well, in our opinion, making us stretch as creators and also making Paige Huntly stretch as a character. Success! We're into February now, so 2025 is well under way, and we've got a lot we want to do this year! Bear with us! (pls help) Join us next week for a Disparation Writers' Room about a modern hero reimagined to fit the Golden Age! Who? How? WHY?! ... Who can say? Time will tell. Catch you next time!
| Episode #307 - Creative Process: Distant Future Limited Series | 28 Jan 2025 | 02:44:13 | |
Come and hear tell of our PROPHES1ES! Show Notes: Run Time: 2:44:12 This one ran pretty long AND I tried to skip the banter at the beginning (entirely unsuccessfully) AND we didn't even cover every little bit of what we wanted (which we get into in the episode) AND we tried to speed up in the second half (with only marginal successful) but it's a big topic, and we've been percolating on parts of this one for a long time. I'm very happy with the stuff we came up with, and it's fertile creative soil for more, certainly! We're recording next week's episode — Episode #308 - Writers' Room: K.N.Y.F.E. can't just punch her way out of a situation — TOMORROW, on January 29th, as I'll be out of town on Friday, our normal recording time. So get your K.N.Y.F.E. questions in now NOW NOW!
| Editor's Note #87 | 21 Jan 2025 | 01:32:52 | |
We were live for the first time this year! Show Notes: Run Time: 1:32:51 Lots of goofs, silliness, mistakes, apologies, answers, justifications, and ridiculous listener interactions (encompassing interactions that are ridiculous AND listeners who are ridiculous — you know who you are), all of which means: it's another Editor's Note! Thank you all for being a part of this. We also announced the upcoming schedule:
Also, we had another installment of the Yarniverse from our industrious listener Kyrie Wynne! Featuring... Vis-yarn-ary! Craft-ain Cosmic! The Darn-gent Adept! and Weave! We love them. Join us next week for yet another Creative Process episode! About a distant future limited series? What could that possibly mean?! You'll just have to listen to find out!
| Episode #306 - Writers' Room: Tome of the Bizarre Vol. 3 #10 | 14 Jan 2025 | 01:38:05 | |
These two need to calm down. Show Notes: Run Time: 1:38:04 We come out the gates swinging with this one, telling a tale we didn't necessarily expect, including characters we hadn't planned for! And then we also read your letters! Woo! Join us this coming Friday for a live show, that is, if you're on the Letters Page Patreon!
| Episode #305 - Creative Process: Tempest Foes | 07 Jan 2025 | 01:44:01 | |
It's snowy and cold, but it wasn't when we recorded this! The passage of time is astounding! Show Notes: Run Time: 1:44:00 We make up a few villains, as is our way, each of a different sphere of Tempest's interest and influence. The first is one we've apparently talked about before, though folks forgot, including us as well! Anyway, we talked more about her than ever before, so I'm happy with that. The other two? Entirely new stuff out of various fields which you may or may not expect. Hopefully it's a good listen! We certainly enjoyed it. Join us next week for another episode, this one a more typical Writers' Room sort of thing! What about? Why, Bloodless Wraith and Haunted Fanatic, of course! Just normal cheerful January stuff! See you then!
| News-Sode! | 02 Jan 2025 | 00:06:36 | |
Welcome to 2025, everyone! Did you think you would get a mini-sode on Tuesday, even after we expressly told you we would NOT be posting such a thing? Well, so did we! Unfortunately, The Fates had other plans, and Trevor was laid low by the throat of strep! Thus, you get this lil snippet a couple days later. But it still counts! Instead of a very end of 2024 mini-sode, enjoy this very beginning of 2025 mini-sode! And even while sick, Trevor managed to outdo himself on the audio on this one. Wild. That guy. He's gotta take a break at some point! That's what we want! Anyway, we shall get back to normal episodes next week. Until then, keep running. We'll catch you... WE'LL CATCH YOU!
| Episode #304 - Writers' Room: Mystery Comics Vol. 2 #244 | 24 Dec 2024 | 01:23:28 | |
Is The Scholar simply having a wonderful Christmastime? It doesn't look like it... Show Notes: Run Time: 1:23:27 A Christmas tale on this Christmas Eve, but unlike the standard fare! We did a lot of prework on this episode so we could just get right into the telling, given the challenge of a holiday tale of a... less cheery sort. So, far from the longest episode this year, but also far from the shortest! Happy holidays, everyone! See you all next year!
| Editor's Note #86 | 17 Dec 2024 | 01:26:05 | |
The last live show of the year! Show Notes: Run Time: 1:26:04 Here at the end of the year, we cover so many different topics! Certainly a wide variety of things, and not a singular focus... Anyway, here's what we're talking about at the start of next year!
Join us next week for an episode about Santa Scholar! What could that even be?! Who can say? With time, you will know.
| Episode #303 - Writers' Room: Tome of the Bizarre Vol. 3 #227 | 10 Dec 2024 | 01:10:34 | |
Necrosis is gross! Can Akash'Thriya do anthing about it?! Show Notes: Run Time: 1:10:34 The shortest episode we've recorded in a long time! Everyone on our Patreon can watch, and Contributors can join in the live chat. We hope to see you there!

Let's get STICKY! Show Notes: Run Time: 1:42:56 Will this be the final moment of Setback?! How can he survive such a defeat?!?! You'll just have to listen to find out! | Episode #301 - Creative Process: Who is Deathfiend? | 26 Nov 2024 | 02:37:14
Wait, this is a Creative Process? But then why does it have this cover...? Show Notes: Run Time: 2:37:13 Yup, another 2+ hour episode, and you'll hear why once you start listening! We definitely set out to make a Writers' Room, but it ended up being a bunch of lightning round Writers' Rooms! Whoops? Sorry? (Not really sorry.) Do we answer the question of "Who is Deathfiend?" Yes! And no. But also yes? Listen and learn more! Get your questions about Setback and The Adhesivist, and also Akash'Thriya and Necrosis! Those episodes are coming up in the recording schedule SO VERY SOON!

Good morning, everyone! Show Notes: Run Time: 1:53:03 A long Editor's Note! What is happening?! And it's not just because of the frankly-not-good-radio unboxing at the end of the recording! But first, the upcoming schedule:
And that'll bring us right up to 2025! Thrilling! The Delusional Comedy! Show Notes: Run Time: 1:47:16 Guise is back! And he's extra ridiculous! As per usual! We find our hero in unexpected realms accompanied by a mysterious guide and dealing with Guise's worst nemeses: the consequences of his own actions. How horrible! With this episode, we wrap up the spooky month of October... and move into the even spookier month of November! Send us questions for next week's Episode #299 - Writers' Room: Rambler vs Biomancer!

| Episode #297 - Writers' Room: Lone Gun One-Shot | 15 Oct 2024 | 01:28:39 | |
He's a man... alone... nowhere and nowhen... and he's got a metal arm... Show Notes: Run Time: 1:28:38 This one shot hearkens forward to the Time Trust One-Shot that we recently discussed, but that's just how life works sometimes! Just seems like it's the season of La Comodora and Chrono-Ranger and friends, I guess! We tell a tale that involves a few tales, and then we answer your letters! And then talk about a cover! As is tradition! Before all that, we talked about an item (or items, rather) that I'd gotten in German from the fan one one particular nocturnal (he's not actually nocturnal) serpent (again, probably not technically a serpent). Do you want to see them? Show up for next week's live Editor's Note recording, and I'll show them on camera! Available to all Letters Page Patreon members at any level! Something to look forward to, for certain. Until then, keep on saving the Multiverse, everyone!
