John and Andrew are joined on the show by Neal Dorman. Neal lives in Northern Ireland and has a background in press photography. Now his love of pinhole and Holga photography in and around his beautiful town and countryside continues to fuel his passion for the silver image.

We discuss what happens if and when our enthusiasm for photography wanes, visualisation (pre and post), the use of darkroom or light room to fully realise the vision, plug ins!, getting exposure right with super wide pinhole cameras and more......

John and Andrew team up with part time co-host Mr Holga to look back at Holga Week 2024.

We spend some time talking about Holgas and the different choices open to those new to this particular camera before launching into a review of the category winners and runners up.

A last minute change of plans as we had to reschedule the planned guest to next Month.

But, a good opportunity for a catch up with what we've been up to, looking ahead to travel plans and worrying about camera and film choice.

Tanya lives in the deep countryside of Germany with "her husband, kids, a cigarette machine and a defibrillator" - and is surrounded by cows, just as well aas they are an on going obsession for pinhole and holga photography.

Nick Dvoracek, his Son Andy and Justin Quinnell join Andrew in the run up to Worldwide Pinhole Photography Day to remind us all why they love pinhole photography so much.

Author, teacher, darkroom printer and Holga super evangelist Michelle Bates chats to John and Andrew about the joy of using plastic cameras.

Yant joins us for a romp around his world of pinhole, LCA and half frame - who cares if they arent all strictly lo-fi.....but they could be right?

I first met Yant on a photowalk a coupleof years back and we regularly interact on the excellent Bluesky platform.  Although relatively new to the world ofpinhole and lo-fi photography this hasn’t stopped him from diving in with anexhibition of his pinhole work at the barbican Library and a zine to accompanyit.

We needed to record a second show to chatabout things we forgot to last time on show 8.

Holga lovers and Instagram users willlikely be familiar with the Daily Holga, each day Holga artist photographersare featured and the styling of the site and the presentation is eye catchingto say the least.

To say Alec is obsessed with Holgas is,probably putting it mildly……

Andrew and John are joined by creator and editor of the excellent publication Obscura Craft Magazine Thomad Mead.

We chat about his background, his analogue photography passion and how he came to realise this monthly publication.

Becky Ramotowski (aka Astro Beck) joins John and Andrew for what has turned into a two part show. Becky took time out of her road trip for this recording and at about 30mins in we lost her - so once she's back home we will re connect and continue the conversation.

Andrew met Tony back in 2012 at the second of the FPP London meetups so it's wonderful to finally get back in touch for this brief chat, to be honest we could have gone on for hours as is the case with many of our guests.

Tony has a monthly column in the Amateur Photographer and guesses he has well over 500 cameras, many lofi and cheap.

Dave joins us to chat about his year long focus on Holga Photography which you can read about in his blog "Daves Place".

In 2026 he and a few friends en=mbark on a similar challenge using pinhole cameras.

Andrew and Steve have known each other since well before Covid and its his recent Lensless and Lo-Fi epiphany which has led him to the guest list.

Steve hosts regular "Mersey Meet ups" , is a vocal advocate for photographing what you know and is an all round man of the people.

Although a recent film and pinhole convert Monika has surely embraced it with a lovely eye for composition.
