46. Clients Need Us to Pivot:Blocks are Cries for Reorganization of Protection07 Jan 202300:39:40

In this episode, we revisit a popular topic of working with clients' blocks to vulnerability. We take time not just to talk about getting past the block but about the significant work of reorganizing the chaotic experience in the block.

* This is an update of a previously released version of this episode because I (James) made an error and gave the wrong name to the lady who does the Netflix show on home organization (Marie Kondo), and I did not correct myself or edit it before releasing the episode. While our heart is to help, we seek to own and take care to make sure our words do not cause hurt, and this error was hurtful. I am glad one of our Asian-American listeners pointed this out so I could fix it, and prevent my words from hurting more people.

44. S.A.F.E.: Proactive Alliance - A Tribute & Memorial to Dr. Katherine McKay25 Nov 202200:18:31
Word of memory, written by Dr. Lisa J. Palmer:    It is with a heavy heart and tremendous pain, that we need to share with our community the passing of Dr. Katherine McKay over this last weekend. It has been a shock to all of us who have been along her side during this fight with cancer. We know she is with her God and getting fitted for angel wings as we share this very sad news.   After providing countless EFT workshops on supervision, diversity, trauma and coping with loss for other families, Katherine imprinted our entire community with her kindness and loving heart towards all. We will miss her greatly. She started the Supervisor's Collaborative with me that has now grown to over 400 people. We will be honoring her this Thursday at 9am PST and 12 pm Eastern, if you are interested in showing your support.   We will be running the contributions through Renova San Diego, our nonprofit corporation. 100% of the contributions (minus processing fees) will go to Katherine's daughter and her husband. All eligible donations to Katherine's family will receive a 501 donation receipt for your contribution, If requested.   Please join us in sharing this Go Fund Me link with as many friends, colleagues and EFT community members as you can, so we may help Katherine's family during this painful time.   With love and appreciation to everyone, EFT support Team (Lisa Palmer-Olsen, Kathryn de Bruin, Marlene Best, Feion Villodas, James Hawkins, Ryan Rana, Leanne Campbell and Jim Furrow)
