Her work has been exhibited at MoMA, Ars Electronica, the Venice Architecture Biennale, Exploratorium, and The Contemporary Austin. Her TED Talk uncovered how technology mediates the way we perceive reality, and she was named Forbes China 30 Under 30. I've never been so blown away by someone's body of work and the way their mind works more than I am with this woman! She's growing clitoris's in the lab from her own menstrual blood, a heart for her mother who has heart disease, creating the most prolific body of work and art I've literally ever seen, and pioneering so many epic projects at the intersection between bio-tech, nature, art, and activism. This week in The Labia Lounge I have Clementine Morrigan back on for our second episode together! What an epic human, honestly. This chat didn't disappoint and was just as enlightening, nuanced, and compassionate as the first one. Check out our other episode if you haven't already. It's about incest, childhood sexual abuse, and cancel culture. This time we spoke about the challenges and pitfalls of dating non-monogamously. Clementine has had over a decade of experience being polyamourous and dating multiple people long-term. She's written zines and articles about this, and has an upcoming book being released in 2027 about this exact topic. How to do poly relating without it feeling like you're literally dying. Especially if you've got a background of trauma and attachment wounds that make it even more difficult to be non-monogamous! This is a really insightful episode with so much value in it for those who know that monogamy isn't necessarily for them but that find it a struggle to manage poly dynamics and all the challenging and uncomfortable reactions that arise as a result.
