Dealing with Mental Health, Stress & Anxiety with Journaling
Saison 1 · Épisode 2
vendredi 22 septembre 2023 • Durée 07:29
How can Journaling help you deal with any issues you may have with your own Mental Health, Stress or Anxiety.
Three BIG Questions that we cover today.
- How can Journaling help my mental health?
- How can Journaling help me relieve stressful situations?
- How can Journaling help me cope with my anxiety?
ON this episode I have over-simplified the answers, but that’s because it’s episode 2 and I didn’t want to get too deep straight away. We will come back to these topics later in the series, but for now, I hope today’s show has given you a better idea of what writing about your thoughts and feelings can really do for you. It really can help you cope with your mental health issues, stress and any anxiety that you may be experiencing currently.

Today's Prompt - “What’s really happening here and what story am I telling myself?”
Then move onto...
What’s one small action I can take today to move this forward?

Daily Prompts: Fuel for the Writing Habit
Saison 2 · Épisode 7
lundi 10 novembre 2025 • Durée 09:10
Today we're talking about Daily Prompts; those short, simple questions that get you writing when the brain fog kicks in.
During the episode, I gave you two sets of prompts. For the full context make sure you listen to the episode, but here they are.
Here are a few of my favourite go-to prompts:
- What’s on my mind right now?
- What do I need today?
- What am I avoiding?
- What’s gone well lately?
- What am I learning about myself?
You don’t have to use them all. Just pick one that fits the day.
PLUS...
- Monday - “What do I want to achieve this week?”
- Tuesday - “What’s draining my energy right now?”
- Wednesday - “What am I proud of?”
- Thursday - “What would I do if I wasn’t afraid of failing?”
- Friday - “Who or what made this week better?”
That following weekend, read them back. You’ll start to see patterns, little clues about what really matters to you.
