So it's really um, individualizing treatment. And that's, again, that's one of the reasons foot zoning stands out for me because I love breath work right now. I'm obsessed with it, but there's something about, like, I'll go and do a breath work session and I'll like have a big release and I'll do all of that. And I love it, but I think there's power in sitting down one-to-one with someone. And you know, this probably with your one-to-one work with business, sitting down and saying, this is a personalized healing approach. This is a personalized approach to what you can do in your life to experience healing. Like there's, that's, there's not very many things that can replace that experience. -Maleah

  • The importance of vulnerability and authenticity in building a personal brand
  • Balancing business success with family life and setting a powerful example for the next generation

“Some of the skillsets that they learn don't feel authentic, and so they don't want to do it. If they can learn a way to do it that feels in integrity and that feels natural, that's the first part. The second part is if they've had rejection over and over, now we have an internal issue. It's like they have sales trauma that we have to work through. Then the imposter syndrome and the confidence thing is a real thing. I really believe that if we don't do internal work, how are you supposed to be in a conversation leading somebody else to make a decision when you can't lead yourself and make decisions in your own life? I think it's absolutely a two-part thing.” - Kayla

If you've worked in insurance, like where you're accepting insurance as payment, the company that you're working for, that's going to create a scarcity mindset. That's how the system is built right now. To break out of it and do it on your own, you have got to shift from scarcity to abundance. Abundance means I could do in two months what I previously thought would take two years. You have to get a mentality of speed and take the actions that will get you there.” - Robbie

Oh, here's another offer next year, I'm gonna brand this. And so, they end up with this disjointed kind of Frankenstein brand, not to their own fault. They do it unconsciously, right? It's not their fault; they just don't know that if they actually started with a brand strategy, or they stopped to reset and build a brand strategy, and build what I call a brand operating system." – Tiffany Neuman

One of the questions I'll always ask women in my world is, if you were on a panel on stage in front of six other women doing exactly what you do, what makes you different? Why should somebody hire you over the two people that are sitting next to you? And one of the things that one of my coaches says is, you need to be the most certain bitch in the room. Hopefully I can say that on this podcast, but you truly have to be, even in the moments where you do not feel it. If you are uncertain about your business, what you sell, what makes you different, and why people should hire you, your audience is too. - Katy

What’s up, Babes! Welcome back to another episode of the Scale Your Sales Podcast! Today, we’re diving into a topic that’s close to all of our hearts—avoiding burnout while building and running a successful business. • Proactive strategies: How to think about burnout as a spectrum and take preventative measures before you hit your limit.
  • The power of systems: How creating digital systems can reduce stress and free up time for the "life-giving stuff."
  • Ellyn’s favorite tools: Why Notion is her go-to productivity app and how she uses automations and AI to streamline life and business.
  • Building sustainability: Simple steps to balance emotional, mental, and physical health while growing your business.
  • Recovering from burnout: Why small, consistent actions matter more than drastic lifestyle changes.
  • Ellyn’s programs and resources: From customizable Notion templates to her System School course and upcoming burnout-proof business group program in 2025.

I don't like having limitations on what I can do and how I can organize things and how I can make things in my digital systems. And that's what Notion gives me—the ability to make it work the way I want it to work. And so I kind of realized all of this stuff, that all of these things that I've been doing in the past, come together under the realm of burnout, systems, self-care, mindset work. But I'm a big believer that the systems have to come first because when we have good systems in our business, in our life, it frees us up for what I call the life-giving stuff. – Ellyn

ep. 220 Boost Business and Book Free Vacations with Points w/ Megan Landford25 Nov 202400:17:46

What’s up Babes! Welcome back to another episode of the Scale Your Sales Podcast! Today, I’ve got something super exciting for you—my guest is Megan Lanford, an absolute genius when it comes to travel hacking with credit card points. She’s helped so many people, including busy professionals and families, take dream vacations for (almost) free. If you’ve ever wondered how people manage those luxury trips without breaking the bank, you’re in for a treat!

Here’s what we dive into:

  • Travel hacking 101: How to get started with credit card sign-up bonuses.
  • Real savings: How Megan and her clients save $20k a year (yes, really!) on travel.
  • Avoiding mistakes: The common pitfalls when earning points—and how to sidestep them.
  • Success stories: Real examples, from trips to Bali to luxury European vacations, all on points.
  • Megan’s magic touch: Her Card Concierge service that walks you through the whole process, from picking the right credit card to booking your trip.
  • The education piece: Why so many people have unused points and how Megan helps them finally take advantage of what they’ve earned.
  • Time-saving hacks: How to fit travel planning into a busy life without the overwhelm.
  • Why this matters: Whether it’s for family vacations, work trips, or those bucket-list moments, you deserve to travel smarter, not harder.

The key to it is when you sign up for a new credit card, you get what's called a sign-up bonus. And so, you're getting a large chunk of points when you spend a certain amount of money in a short time frame. So, for example, we'll say if you spend $4,000 in the first three months, which is pretty doable for most people, you can earn 80 to 150,000 points depending on the credit card. And so, you get a large chunk of points with one card of spending $4,000. For example, you could go on one free vacation with that. – Megan

  • The importance of automating foundational business tasks.
  • The benefits of using Go High Level to consolidate business tools and save money.
  • How to attract high-paying clients even when starting out.
  • The significant impact of automating appointment reminders on show-up rates.

  • The differences between a Virtual Assistant (VA), Online Business Manager (OBM), and a Systems Expert.
  • Real-life examples of how automation can streamline sales processes and business operations.
  • Tips on identifying gaps in business processes and effectively automating them.

“It's okay to automate foundational things like appointment reminders and some of these boring things, but when it comes to your sales, lead generation, onboarding, and nurturing, we're always taught to keep it personal. We want to keep it personal because that's how you can burn your leads. Let's be real, that's how you can hurt your leads. However, there are a lot of things you can automate while still keeping it personalized. You can add manual steps; maybe you're not automating the entire process but automating chunks of it to make it faster and easier on you. A lot of times, what that does is allow you to track more easily. You can track what leads you have coming in and how warm or cold they are, speeding up the process a lot of the time.” - Luvyna Mantle

But also, knowing finances and stuff like that, a lot of people put their money toward social media, building an email list, all very valid and very important. But yeah, I mean, SEO is just such a powerful organic tool that I think people get distracted or they don't understand it, so they don't know why it's going to be helpful for them. But that's where I like to educate people, because it's really not that scary. – Lindsay May

"it's so important to believe in yourself it's so important to love yourself because that's going to try and come across when you're speaking to people if you don't believe in yourself and you don't believe in the product or you're not believing in the service that you are selling that is going to come across no matter how much you memorize I might against memorizing scripts I think you should speak from the heart and so when you are not congruent with who you are it's going to show and our unconscious minds picks it up and so that's where we don't have that connection with the other person"

What I like to do as a financial planner, right? So let me just break it down, just bare, you know, bare bones, like on the financial planner, on the other hand, is all about creating a clear picture and an actual, actionable strategy, right, for your financial life. So this includes anything from investment strategies, tax planning, retirement planning, state planning, all of those boring things that you hear about all the time. But what I like to do in my practice is blend both of those approaches. So I want to know why you do the things that you do, because it's my job in order to get my arms around your entire financial picture. And if I'm bringing three different options to you, right, the financial planning drives the recommendations. And if I'm bringing recommendations to you, I might know that option C is the best option for you both personally and financially. But I also know, you're probably you are probably going to lean towards option A because of your history with money and different beliefs around that. And so that's why I feel like it's crucial to blend both of those. - Shannon Fowler

THROWBACK: Nobody Can Help You Do Everything in Your Business27 Sep 202400:09:00

I’m so excited to be joining all of you on this gorgeous day for a super short and sweet episode!

I recently got a comment in my DMs that I feel reflects what many entrepreneurs believe, but just simply isn’t true. The commenter said that they didn’t need a coach, because they already have one. This belief, while common, is completely untrue! We should be seeking out experts in each individual space to get the best coaching we can.

“When you seek out experts in each individual space, you actually get better results. Instead of hiring a generalist or hiring a specialist and getting annoyed with them that they aren’t meeting all of your needs”

The question I want you to ask yourself today is: What are the three skill sets right now that you absolutely know if you could nail them down, you’d be a better business owner? Then, I want you to go out and find those people to help you out!

ep. 208 Boosting Sales with Authentic B-Roll Content w/ Quianna Marie25 Sep 202400:23:56

What’s up, Babes! Welcome back to the podcast. Today’s episode is all about personal branding, creating engaging B-roll content, and using authenticity to drive sales success. I’m thrilled to have Quianna Marie, a traveling photographer and content expert, on the show. She helps business owners shine online through her powerful branding photos and captivating B-roll strategies. You’ll leave this episode with actionable tips on how to create relatable content, engage your audience, and boost sales by being authentically you!

Topics Covered:

  • Quianna Marie’s Journey as a Photographer and Content Strategist
  • The Power of B-Roll in Building a Relatable Brand
  • Simple Tips for Capturing B-Roll That Connects with Your Audience
  • How to Use Personal Branding to Attract Your Dream Clients
  • The Importance of Showing Up Authentically Online
  • Strategies for a Successful Launch Using Content
  • Overcoming Fear and Creating Consistent, Relatable Content
  • Why “Cringe” Content Often Sells Better Than Polished Commercials
  • Planning Content Around Your Personal Brand for Maximum Engagement

I think the best type of content is the one that makes you feel alive. And that doesn't make you feel cringe. Now, the thing that I have to say with that though, as a caveat is typically content does make you feel cringe, right? It does make you feel awkward. Just like you mentioned before, we were like, I really want to get a video of me walking down this hallway, but I feel like people are watching me. Like there's this weird thing, right? So I want you to take that mindset and think what if they don't see you? What if your dream clients don't even know you exist, right? That right there is actually scarier to know that you have the answers for people. You are in the business to make someone's life better, more richer, whether that's actually financial gain or just better connections and friendships. And if you're not doing that, what is the cost of not showing up online? – Quianna Marie
