We've all been taught that leaving is not a great idea, but what if there are times when quitting is actually the right move and other times when we quit too soon?

Craig introduces the concept of "the dip," as described by Seth Godin in his book of the same name. The dip refers to the phase where we start to lose momentum or enthusiasm after initially engaging in something. It's that challenging period where results may not be forthcoming, and doubts start creeping in. Craig emphasizes the importance of recognizing whether we're in a dip or a "cul de sac" (a dead end) because quitting at the wrong time can hinder our progress. he stresses the importance of awareness in navigating the dip. Being aware of our progress, recognizing whether we're in a dip or a cul de sac, and adjusting our approach accordingly can make a significant difference. He shares his experience with quitting in the dip when working with internet leads.

  3. Fail, learn, and move on: You make mistakes and you learn, but we must have it in our hearts to move on from them. Pick the lessons and learn from your mistakes and put them to use, making sure you don't repeat the same mistakes again, and, nor do you end up dwelling on them. Finally, always, always trust your gut feeling. If something just feels right in the heart, go after it.

Today we have Robert Junge, an insurance agent with over 10 years of experience in insurance Robert shares his story, that how he ended up in insurance. 

He kickstarts his career at Geico where he served in sales and then in the management department. Geico was a real learning point for Robert, it was from there, he built his passion for insurance.

Robert discusses the basic fundamentals that he learned in Geico and how he retained those in his own agency. How can you identify if a customer is lying and what to do in that situation?
Answer: Agree with them ask them what they need and bring them back to the sale.
It’s been over 5 years to Robert Junge farmer’s agency. He has made over 10,000 worth of sales. He believes in that “There is no replacement for hard work” it was only with that volume through that he got that expertise.

Background- Started in Insurance at GEICO in a call center in 2011. Won top salesman in the country there in 2013, got to go to Berkshire Hathaway shareholders conference. Moved up into management after that, wasn’t for me. Came across a report that showed my premium I sold in 2013 and thought about how much money I made, vs what I got paid. Opened my own agency in 2016 with a friend of mine, he ended up exiting the P&C side of things and I took over in 2018 and now here we are.
