He was experienced in this kind of travel and surviving in the wilderness, it's what he had done his whole life. But the next day his trailer and gear were found 6.5 miles up Sol Duc Hot Springs Road. Strangely, Jacob's bow was on the ground, and arrows were sticking in the ground and out of the back of the trailer. But the owner of the bike and gear was nowhere to be seen.
