In This Episode, I Talk About:

  • How Year of Yes inspired my word of the year

You're not burntout, you're out of alignment with Stacey Berger 13 Apr 202600:35:40

In this episode, Holly sits down with transformational coach Stacey Berger to unpack a quiet truth many high-achieving women experience, and rarely say out loud:

You’ve built the business. You’ve checked the boxes. You’ve done everything “right.”  And yet… something still feels off.

Stacey shares her personal journey from corporate success to deep misalignment and the moment she realized that external success alone will never create true fulfillment.

This conversation goes beyond surface-level mindset talk. It dives into the real reason women feel stuck, the hidden beliefs that keep them there, and what it actually takes to move into alignment, purpose, and sustainable success.

If you’ve ever caught yourself thinking “Is this it?” this episode will challenge the way you see success, growth, and what’s next.

In This Episode, We Talk About:

  • Why external success still leaves high-achieving women feeling unfulfilled
  • How to recognize the difference between burnout and being out of alignment
  • The first step to reconnecting with your purpose and expanding into your next level

E30. "When I got the taste for Chocolate..." with Colleen Heidecker26 Aug 202400:39:21

E30. "When I got the taste for Chocolate..." with Colleen Heidecker

Colleen Heidecker, the Master Chocolatier behind Colleens Chocolates has an extraordinary background. With a Bachelor of Science in Zoology and Animal Behaviour from the U of A, Colleen trained dolphins and other animals worldwide for nearly two decades. Next, a fascination with the Mojave Desert led her to organize adventure races and trail run events in Las Vegas, where she developed nutrient-dense, superfood-infused snacks for her athletes. She then transitioned to Canmore, AB, creating her own desserts company before becoming the Lead Dessert Chef at Noorish Conscious Eatery in Edmonton, specializing in raw food and vegan cuisine.

For the past 6 years, Colleen has taught hospitality, entrepreneurship, and work ethics to Indigenous students, leveraging her extensive international experience in the hospitality industry. Her goal has been to assist her students by imparting valuable skills and knowledge while being in a comfortable learning environment.

Colleen's entrepreneurial journey has been shaped significantly by her 7-year involvement in BNI.  BNI's structured approach, rooted in the "giver's gain" principle, played a pivotal role in her success. By actively combatting the scarcity mindset, BNI emphasizes the belief that the more one contributes, the more they receive in return. And as a lifelong learner and fiercely competitive individual, Colleen deeply appreciated all the relationships she fostered during that time that still continue to be a vital part of her business and success.

Her newest entrepreneurial venture is the creation of a media business, The Food Explorer Podcast.  Creating weekly content on YouTube, all audio podcast platforms, and writing articles on Substack.  This passion for all things food is growing into a worldwide community and she can’t wait to see where it takes her!

Colleen's commitment to creating a sense of community and cohesion has not only propelled her own entrepreneurial success but has also demonstrated the profound rewards that come from assisting others in achieving their business goals.

E29. 3 steps to move through a FAIL 19 Aug 202400:06:57

E29. 3 steps to move through a FAIL

The four letter F word…

According to Wikipedia the Definition of FAIL is; “ The social concept of not meeting a desirable or intended objective, and is usually viewed as the opposite of success. The criteria for failure depends on context, and may be relative to a particular observer or belief system.”

3 Steps to move through a FAIL:

#1) Allow myself the space and grace to feel all the feelings

#2) Reflect on the lessons

#3) Try Again

In this solo episode, Holly shares a behind-the-scenes reflection after hosting her highest-energy Bold Brunch to date.

Holly walks you through:

  • Why networking doesn’t need to be exhausting to be effective
  • The simple intention-setting practice she uses at every event
  • How to nurture real connections without it feeling forced or transactional

If you’ve ever left a networking event feeling drained, overwhelmed, or questioning whether you “did enough,” this episode will shift how you think about connection and how you show up moving forward.
