The Bullpen Bros have a special guest tonight in Kevin Doig, a former professional footballer in Scotland (playing for Kilmarnock and Queen of the South) Kevin joins us to talk about life on the West Coast and how he's built his passion for baseball.

It's allowed him to travel the USA seeing different ballparks, learning about the game and generally enjoying the lifestyle. Kevin lives in Tacoma and talks Rainiers and of course the Seattle Mariners.

His views on his baseball bucket list item, cities he would and wouldn't have at the top of his visit list are of course of interest to our Bros covering Boston, Chicago and Detroit.

And he spills the beans on not actually catching that Ty France home run ball he has!

Spring Training is here and so are the Bullpen Bros! 

Dave Junior catches up with us to lament on where the White Sox are and remind us of the excitement fans had only a couple of years ago. What has happened?

Dave Snr chats through the Red Sox and what's going on with their finances, can Mr Henry direct more of his money towards his original baseball investment?

Rich highlights there are only two games of interest to the Bullpen on Opening Day (and that we are guaranteed two Bullpen wins on Day 1...). What does he think is the secret to the Mariners getting back to the play offs?

And Alan tells us a bit about Spring Training and hopes for a Detroit sporting Dynasty led by the Lions recent achievements.

The Super Bowl is done and we can focus on proper sport now as the MLB season is around the corner. The boys get together to discuss win projections for our teams in 2024. Are we really all sufficiently pessimistic about the year ahead.

The Boys from the Bullpen return for 2024 although sadly our Chief, Richard, is waylaid by work commitments. 

Not to worry we are on our way back to the Netherlands very shortly for our annual football extravaganza. So importantly Yorkshire Dave is here to tell us about our trip schedule and of course which pubs and brown bars we will visit on the trip. Yes, he has a book to help these important decisions.

Highlander Alan chimes in with the smaller detail of the trip that will see us watch Top Oss, Nijmegen and Vitesse Arnhem. In addition to some important town facts we also remark on a poignant part of the trip where we will pay respect to a Highland League footballer killed in the Battle at Arnhem.

Keeping us up to date on the baseball front Young Dave talks us through the draft lottery, what, why and how. A recent addition to the MLB world and one that produced a quite surprising result in the recent lottery.

So it's early September and things are looking good for 1/4 of the Bullpen playing baseball in October. Or will it be 1/2 of us.....?

West Coast Richard on a high as Seattle are on a roll. Red Sox Dave realistic about Boston's chances of playing in October and Dave Junior and Alan, well they follow teams in the AL Central...

We get some World Series predictions, will Daz Cameron get a late call up to the Orioles as this season's form team perhaps could do with a few more homers?

Yorkshire Dave and Highlander Alan look to make sense of the Baseball Deadline Day and start to understand why it's so different to Football's transfer windows and why they aren't all trying to improve this years results! 

How you build a team seems a more structured process than we're used to but clearly not all our teams can get this right! It's appropriate the Bullpen boys discuss the Farm system but it's not one for Hamish... What is Free Agency all about?
