Hello Whole Damn family...Resident Evil you say? Resident Evil you say again? How about a double dose? In this episode, we get real residential in Raccoon City. Our first movie Paul (watch my wife naked) Anderson directs the original adaptation of the Resident Evil video game franchise. This version from (2002) flashbangs first and asks questions later. We talk absurd AI and bad company policy. In the second half of the show we cover the new Resident Evil (2026) adaptation and discuss survival horror on the Mcalister, Mcfly, McClain scale, according to Zach Cregger. There's some good behind-the-scenes on both of these. Is this new one a horror comedy? Only Mr.T knows for sure. He pities the poor fools who don't listen to this episode.

We start with the Italian Dario Argento/Lamberto Bava gore fest Demons from (1985) Can you believe growing up with Mike, James had never seen it! What will he think? Is it too old school for him to jive, or does the ending of this movie push him over the edge with 4-cylinder wind-in-your-hair and katana-in-your-hand joy? After we get possessed by an ancient mask and an old Latin book. We crack the flesh-bound cover on another old Latin book, with (2026) Evil Dead Burn. We totally feel the burn on this one and give you the goods in spoiler-free, Whole Damn Thing style reviews. Special guest stars are Bobby (Tony the Pimp) Rhodes and terrible Italian and French accents.

Hey Whole Damn Family! When we heard about Backrooms, we immediately thought of pairing it with this low-budget, smart, and successful sci-fi thriller, Cube (1997), and we think we were on the money with this one. Fans of Robert Loggia, rejoice; we open up a gem from the vault that maybe you don't know about. What's it got to do with Cube or Backrooms, you might ask... nothing, it was just another tangent. Speaking of tangents. We also wrote a Vin Diesel movie before we moved on to the second movie, Backrooms (2026). We fall into some deep tangents in the Backrooms as well; some involve history lessons, and we were wrong, but don't worry, we fixed it! There's lots to unpack in this weirdly sci-fi horror mixtape of an episode.
