WE. ARE. DRUNK.

This week, the boys (along with a few drinks) sit down to watch the 1941 INSANE comedy/musical that is Hellzapoppin'. We quite frankly waffle for ages and then struggle to even describe the basic plot of the film, but it's still mildly enjoyable (probably). This also marks a historic episode in the Hay's Bro Code Podcast as we're FINALLY taking a look at a Code film, even though William Hays (loser) was definitely ASLEEP while approving this film.

Kevin Bacon lands a plane with EE Broadband?

This week, Sam and Arron look at James Whale's 1933 classic "The Invisible Man.". We delve into how funny the film is for nearly being 100 years old, as well as a random rant on Kevin Bacon's EE advert in which he lands an aeroplane using EE Wifi (which didn't happen).

SYNTHETIC FLESH!

This week, the boys take to the renowned film and entertainment streaming service known as FACEBOOK (because we couldn't find the film anywhere else) to watch Michael Curtiz's 1932 film "Doctor X". We talk about hand buzzers, synthetic flesh, ridiculous rogues galleries and our film theory that the main character is high for the entire film.

We also discuss The Hay's Code itself; what it entailed and what it prevented. Finally, some modern film news and chat involving the end of the DCEU, a Warner Bros. and Paramount potential merger, and David Lynch's INSANE requirements for playing John Ford in "The Fabelmans" (2022)

This week, the boys, alongside returning guest Daniel Houston (Comedian, liar, two-bit crook), sit down after an extremely long and eventful day to take a look at the 1942 Horror/Romance Cat People. They put their thinking cats on to discuss the film's complicated love triangle, a purr-perplexingly short shooting schedule and the cat-astrophic ending.

Later in the episode, the boys name and shame the dodgy celebrities who signed an awful petition, movie key-jangling and Arron places a verbal bet that Sam and Daniel heavily disagree with.

FRESHLY PARDONED!

This week, after being rightfully relieved of their "crimes" by the 46th President of the United States, Joseph Robinette Biden Jr., Sam & Arron take a look at the campy, pow wallop-y? Batman (1966). The boys discuss where the best place to get rid of a bomb is, how much shark-repellent Bat-spray one should bring in their helicopter, Adam West's legacy and much more!

Later in the episode, Sam goes on a TYRAID of how much he dislikes Zach Synder's Rebel Moon and yells some nasty words at Arron which I'm told he didn't appreciate.

LIVE FROM SOME RANDOM WOMAN'S GAFF!

This week, whilst laying low from being on the run, Sam & Arron take a look at the obscure 1965 film "Dr. Who & the Daleks.", which, much like the boys, has no real reason to exist. We discuss the strange copyright legalities surrounding the film, the beautiful technicolor and some camping stories thrown into the mix too?

Later in the episode, the boys discuss yet again the appalling cinema etiquette plaguing the nation and overusing Dalek impressions.
