People might be wondering how something as bizarre as Pizzagate has morphed into a large-scale security threat; a threat on the level of ethnic conflict seen in worn torn countries. I get to speak with Eric Brichetto, a software developer, and emerging disinformation researcher. We discuss the more insidious origins of the Qanon conspiracy theory and why it is so hard to dissuade certain parts of the American public from adopting these beliefs.
