Rarely on this show, we come across a project that ticks all of the boxes. Emerging technology that is good for the planet and people. This is what today's guest, Seth from E-Tuk-Tuk, brings to the table.

Here in developed economies in, the global North, the adoption of EVs (electric vehicles) has been going on for the past decade or so. Even though some countries are adopting their fleet faster than others. In the developing world, it is a totally different story.

With E-Tuk-Tuk, this inspiring initiative shows how far EVs can really help the locals in countries such as Sri Lanka.

This week we chatted with Dr Tom Williams from Number 8 Bio. On tackling one of the main causes of carbon emissions: methane from livestock. More importantly, we are discussing changing the diet of bovines from grass to seaweed, to stop them burping out greenhouse gases.

So much so that 25% of all fresh produce does not leave the farm gate and goes straight into landfill. Yes wanting that Cavendish with a perfect curve is killing the planet!

Rich goes around to the farmers in the greater Sydney area and buys up all of the rejected fruit and veg and boxes them up and sell them. Let's talk about hydrogen, so pristine,

In green, blue, and brown, a colourful scene!

Green Hydrogen, the cleanest of all,

Made with renewable energy's call.

Sun and wind power they play their part.

To split water molecules and start.

Blue Hydrogen, it's not quite green,

But it's cleaner than brown, as you've seen.

With carbon capture, it strives to be

A lower-emission energy source, you see.

Brown Hydrogen, well, it's not so grand,

Made from fossil fuels, across the land.

Pollution and emissions, they're the trouble,

We should aim for cleaner, and there's no rebuttal.

So remember the colours of hydrogen, true?

Green, blue, and brown in the energy stew.
