This was no ordinary conversation... recorded last week (mid Nov 23) when there happen to be some major golf news happening, we were fortunate to have insights from both the Tour side and OEM manufacturer side.

John was busy prepping for Tigers event this week in the Bahamas and gave us the run down on where this fairy tale season really took the upwards turn.

We have a chance to discuss John's playing days where he beat up on some well known Canadians, before hanging up the sticks to take on a Collegiate Coaching opportunity where you can say "all things fell into" place when Wyndham walked onto that team!

In this episode the boys bring on the CP Women's Open Tournament Director, Mr. Ryan Paul. Ryan has worked for Golf Canada essentially since he was a young boy, but took on his premier role in 2017 and he shares with us the incredible highs, like watching Canadian, Brooke Henderson win the event; to the very difficult lows of cancelling the tournament 2 years in a row due to COVID.  We discuss Ryan's family ties to Golf Canada, as his father held a position with the organization for over 40 years.  Ryan explains to us what him and his team look for in a championship venue and what the more obscure items needed on that list would be. Bill discusses his life before Miura, playing hockey for UBC and eventually making his first trip to Japan, where he accepted a contract to play professional hockey there. While there, he made a trip to the Miura factory, where he found his calling and a position with the exclusive club manufacturer. 

Bill describes the differences in the Miura process to the rest of the OEM's and what the transition was like for him and his team when the made the move to North America.
