| 1. Sofia Levin - Family rituals, surrealist cookbooks and the art of finding hidden gems. | 28 Jul 2026 | 00:58:48 | |
If sunshine took human form, it would look a lot like Sofia Levin. She’s a journalist, food critic, travel writer and MasterChef judge. Sofia also has an incredible website called "Seasoned Traveller" and a newsletter "Eat Curiously" where she shares lesser known food stories. Her motto, #EatCuriously, encourages people to step outside of their culinary comforts to learn more about others and themselves. She’s a total gem.

| A taste of what's to come... | 24 Jul 2026 | 00:06:32 | |
Food is our favourite way to get to know people, so we made a podcast about it. Forget "What do you do with yourself?" We want to know what was in your school lunch box growing up. Your hottest food take. That ultra-specific dish you ate on a holiday 10 years ago that you STILL think about. Every episode, we sit down with people we are curious about - everyone from chefs and artists to athletes, writers, designers and other people doing interesting things - to share snippets of their life through food. But if we're being completely honest, this podcast is mostly an elaborate excuse to quiz people on what the hell they are cooking for dinner tonight because we are running out of ideas. It's equal parts creativity, culture and chaos (but mostly, chaos). Hosted by Gemma Leslie and Haylee Evans, FFE Radio Hour is a podcast to snack on during your day. Gemma is an artist who can't stop painting food. She founded Food For Everyone, the creative studio and culinary poster shop that turns recipes into artworks and helps provide meals for Australians in need. It's niche, but someone's gotta do it.
Haylee is a brand and graphic designer, hospitality survivor, AFLW wannabe and all-round it girl. She is currently creating content at Food For Everyone and is chronically online. She needs help.
Take a seat, and tuck in.

| 5. Darcy Vescio - Banana Big M’s, making rugs and a salami day at Ikon Park. | 18 Aug 2026 | 01:01:50 | |
Today’s episode is with Aussie rules legend and artist, Darcy Vescio. Darcy is best known for their incredible AFLW career as a two-time All-Australian, two-time AFLW Leading Goalkicker and Carlton Football Club Best and Fairest winner. Off the footy oval, Darcy is an artist, creating work across a range of mediums including painting, textiles, illustration and design. We chat about growing up in rural Victoria, the importance of a good footy canteen (and, of course, Darcy’s snack of choice), and why approaching your art practice like you’re training for sport might actually be the way to go. If you’ve got a little Troy Bolton in you and can’t choose between sport and art, this episode is a reminder that maybe you don’t have to choose at all. | 4. Ngọc Trần - Footscray tours, mushroom calamari and a dinner date with Connor Storrie. | 11 Aug 2026 | 01:04:55 | |
Our guest today is Ngọc Trần, the driving force behind Shop Bao Ngoc, a small Vietnamese eatery in Brunswick that operates as much as a community space as it does a restaurant. In today’s episode, you’ll hear about Ngọc’s experience growing up in the commission flats of Footscray, learning to fillet fish from the age of five (!!), and what her Vietnamese heritage means to her today. We talk about the humble beginnings of Shop Bao Ngoc, where the shop is at now, and, of course, our good friend Anthony Bourdain — who we’re sure would have been a huge fan of her restaurant (and best friends with her grandma!) Follow Ngoc and Shop Bao Ngoc on their socials here.
