When we listen intently, we become guests in the sitting rooms of other people’s minds, and in a small way experience each other’s version of consciousness. Through conversation we can check our abstract reality against the abstract realities of others, ensuring we move forward as a whole. All we need to do is make sure we keep talking.

E70: Personal Stories, Overcoming Grief, & Pathways To Healing, with Rick Belden

mardi 28 janvier 2025Durée 01:36:08

Welcome to the Explorer Poet Podcast. This episode will be a bit different. Rather than one guest, this is a group call, with a discussion facilitated by Rick Belden, who was first on the podcast back in Episode 51. He returns here for what was a virtual night of exploring personal stories, the processing of grief, and the pathway to healing.

On the call, we discussed questions such as - What is a Mother Wound? What is a Father Wound? What is our inner child? How can we access and heal earlier versions of ourselves? And how do we become connected to those inner selves?

Rick is an artist, poet, and coach who works with men to solve difficult emotional, personal, and relational challenges. He’s a great listener, is full of insights and experience, and I truly enjoyed my evening with Rick and the others who joined the call.
