Is this really the way were going about it? (Hour 1)25 Feb 202500:44:32

Earl and Sandy reflect on the past as they discuss Generation Z and the best approaches to their education. They fondly remember vinyl records, emphasizing that these items are not mere artifacts but rather valuable collectibles. In their comparison of these vintage treasures, they humorously label themselves as vintage and valuable too. At the same time, Trump's policies have affected UWM campuses, resulting in the discontinuation of special education programs that were designed to enhance DEI training. Their conversation shifts to Doge and Elon Musk, noting how NPR conducted an in-depth analysis of account savings, mistakenly reporting figures of 85 billion dollars when the actual savings were only between 1 and 2 billion. The federal government's presence seems minimal concerning Elon Musk and Trump's policies. Musk appears to be gaining access to taxpayer funds, checking on the gold supply, while Trump is focused on making his image ubiquitous across America, aspiring to have his likeness on Mount Rushmore and to establish his birthday as a federal holiday. Crypto currency is being the new form of currency with Trump and Elon benefiting the most from this.

The “MAGA” movement is destabilizing! (Hour 2)18 Feb 202500:44:32

The MAGA movement continues to frustrate many Americans by cutting back on government agencies and programs that provide essential support. What’s the deal with Elon Musk offering advice to the president? He’s making claims, like suggesting that Social Security is being distributed to centenarians, which are misleading at best. Callers express their worries on the show about the presence of SRO officers in schools, yet there’s little discussion about the long-term impact this might have on the community. We then shift our focus to trade wars, highlighting China’s significant role as a trading partner for various countries. Meanwhile, European nations are embroiled in conflicts, and we seem to be mirroring their societal models. Project 2025 raises concerns about the potential for conflict as a means to push their agenda and establish an authoritarian regime.

SRO- Officers in the Public School System (Hour 1)18 Feb 202500:44:32

Earl Ingram hosts Sandy Williams on a Tuesday broadcast to discuss the deployment of School Resource Officers (SROs) in Milwaukee Public Schools, following a court ruling that requires 25 SROs by February 17. A Milwaukee County judge has ordered the City of Milwaukee and MPS to share the financial responsibilities, with each covering 50% of the costs. The conversation then shifts to Donald Trump and his impact on reducing government programs like the IRS and CDC, which they argue contribute to "bloating the government." US attorneys and mayors have resigned due to the negative impact on their constituents and the apparent lack of commitment to adequately training the appropriate personnel within the Trump administration. It shows that Trump is flexing absolute power in government, almost a Hitler approach.

“You Can’t Erase History!” Affirmative Action (Hour 1)17 Feb 202500:44:32

Earl Ingram extends a heartfelt invitation to his friend Reggie Jackson to engage in a meaningful conversation about Black History and the events surrounding the civil rights movement of the 1960s. During their exchange, they jump into "The Kerner Report," a significant document produced by the National Advisory Commission on Civil Disorders, which was formed by President Lyndon B. Johnson in response to the riots of 1967. This crucial report was made public in March 1968. The Jim Crow laws were designed to obstruct the African American community from achieving success and building wealth, promoting the notion that individuals are not equal and that whites hold a "superior" status due to "white privilege." Interestingly, it is often white women who benefit from government programs, rather than Black individuals. Dr. Reggie Jackson also sheds light on a report that was published and subsequently retracted, titled "The Harvest of American Racism."
