Today on Integrative Cancer Solutions Dr. Karlfeldt's guest is Eliza Caplan. Eliza, growing up in a nature-loving, outdoorsy family with "hippy values," her words, she developed a deep connection to animals and the environment from an early age. This passion led her to become a vegetarian and later a vegan, driven by discomfort with factory farming and a desire to live as cleanly and kindly as possible. She raised her family with similar values, keeping chickens in the backyard for eggs when she introduced them back into her diet. Her journey toward health-conscious living expanded into other areas, like researching personal care products, which led to work with BeautyCounter, where she educated others on choosing safe and environmentally friendly products for nearly eight years. However, a few years ago, she started experiencing unusual physical symptoms while exercising, which she initially dismissed as dehydration or overexertion. But as these tingling sensations in her limbs persisted, she decided to seek medical advice, given her family history with neurological conditions like ALS, which her mother had suffered from. After consulting with a neurologist and undergoing an MRI, Eliza was diagnosed with an oligodendroglioma brain tumor. Although this type of tumor is the slowest-growing among gliomas, she was still confronted with the reality of having brain cancer, a term that initially took her breath away as Eliza tried to balance protecting her kids from the weight of the diagnosis while coming to terms with it herself. Faced with this life-altering diagnosis, Eliza dove deep into research on both conventional and integrative cancer treatments, determined to fight it with a holistic approach. Surgery was the first step, during which doctors performed a craniotomy to remove as much of the tumor as possible. While the surgery was physically taxing, her recovery included walking, physical therapy, and even swimming to regain strength. Following surgery, she underwent 30 days of radiation and 10 months of chemotherapy. Despite the emotional and physical challenges, she integrated healthy practices into her routine—walking, a clean diet, intermittent fasting, and supplements from her integrative oncologist—determined to manage the cancer while maintaining a balanced, toxin-free lifestyle.

Sharry lived in extremely modest conditions without electricity or running water, with slats for walls, covered with cardboard to keep out the cold. Despite these hardships, Sharry believes this unique upbringing enhanced her abilities in a way that allowed her to hear and understand sounds and frequencies beyond the normal human range. Her family, lacking education and fearful of the unknown, didn’t comprehend her abilities. They were often afraid of what I could do, like hearing thoughts or stopping bleeding with a sound, which pushed her to discover more about the source of these abilities. As Sharry grew older and pursued her curiosity, she became involved in the work being done at Johns Hopkins University, where experiments focused on listening to sounds produced by guinea pigs' ears. This research led her to realize that the frequencies she was hearing were emitted by people, reflecting their brain activity and overall health. In 1984, she developed a computer program designed to help others understand their own frequencies, providing insights into their health, fears, and nutritional needs. This program, which has been freely shared for years, empowers individuals to take control of their health by tuning into their body's frequencies. At the age of 25, Sharyn Wynters received the most devastating news that anyone can receive. She had a disease. A serious, degenerative disease to which—according to the doctors—there was no cure. It was, in fact, cancer. At the time, knowledge of the "C" word was very much in early stages. Sharyn herself had never even heard of anyone having cancer before. Per the doctors, all she could look forward to was an unpleasant foray into the world of chemotherapy, which would only prolong the inevitable. Sharyn was unwilling to accept this fate. Instead, she embarked on a quest to recover through the powerful tool of nutrition. At the age of 26, she was successful. She had been connected with William Donald Kelly, a dentist in Texas who supposedly was “curing people through nutrition.” After much effort, and serious changes in diet and beyond, the disease was gone, and she was cured. At that point, she knew that despite the acting success, this was what she wanted to do. She then studied under William Donald Kelly, learning everything she could. From there, Sharyn studied even further, pursued the cause all the way to the level of a degree from the Clayton School of Natural Healing, and became a naturopathic doctor. A lot of cancer patients have already lost before treatments even begin. Ivelisse Page had an interesting journey that led her to this realization. Ivelisse was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer at the age of 37. Belonging to a family with a history of this disease, she diligently takes regular colonoscopies, she eats organic and gets loads of exercise. She’s healthy as can be! Until one summer, Ivelisse’s husband noticed she’d been more and more regular 3-hr afternoon naps. They started thinking it was more than fatigue from work. It doesn’t help when a cancer patient comes from a childhood of abuse, much like Carl Mason. To people like Carl, being dealt the Cancer Card, after a series of trials in life, is nothing short of cruel. Carl was diagnosed with Stage 4 Large Cell Lymphoma, an aggressive form of Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Following the diagnosis, he was subjected to different invasive treatments, like chemotherapy. It’s physicians that are often the worst patients. Not for a lack of education, but rather the more educated they are, the more they’re likely to put aside symptoms by means of rationalization. With so many non-physicians also educating themselves about the health sciences, they too become more likely to fall into the same trap. “Ah, there’s nothing to worry about since I work out”, said Dr. Sergey Sorin before being diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer. He attributed becoming pale due to working too much. He believed he was losing weight and dropping muscle mass due to stress. It wasn’t until he fell on the floor, in fetal position, and trying to throw up did he finally decide to have himself tested. Acknowledging that there was a problem was probably the best and worst thing he could’ve done for himself. The first oncologist who met with him basically just gave him a death sentence. Nonchalantly, numbers and percentages were shoved down his throat. And being told you need to attend chemo in order to survive, for no more than 2 years at that, isn’t usually received warmly. For Dr. Sergey, it was a nightmare! Cancer is NOT a Death Sentence! Is this an unpopular opinion? Yes But is there truth to this? Absolutely! Take it from Chris Joseph who was diagnosed with stage 3 pancreatic cancer. Prognosis for this type of cancer is not at all appealing, with 70% of patients (diagnosed with it) not lasting 1 year, and 90% don’t go past 5 years. However, these ridiculous numbers aren’t even the worst things you can hear. What’s truly terrifying about cancer are the signs and symptoms that come with it. Besides the physical issues like hair loss, stomach problems, fatigue, etc., are the mental battles you have to fight against suicidal thoughts, depression and anxiety, among many others. You’re not the first and probably won’t be the last cancer patient to enter a hospital. Your condition, the kind of cancer you have, might be unique but your case sure isn’t! That’s why it’s so easy for a lot of hospitals and healthcare professionals to write you off. Whether you’re one of the “lucky ones” to fully recover quickly or “ill-fated” to spend more days/months/years in treatment, in the eyes of most professionals, you’re probably just another number. Living in fear is no way to live… Because the more we let fear consume us, the less “living” we get to do. Fear per se, is natural. It is neither good nor bad. It can protect us or hinder us. It can keep us safe or bring danger upon us. How we respond to fear is that which causes us harm or healing. One of the greatest fears of humans is that of death. No one chose to be born but many of us choose not to die. Unfortunately, in focusing on life as a finite commodity, we become encumbered with the fear of running out of it. In our earnest attempts to secure the precious but limited life that we have, we tend to lose more of it. Christina Earle was given so many reasons to fear death and yet she chose to let go of that fear at every given opportunity! In 2005, she was diagnosed with an auto-immune disease called Myasthenia Gravis (MG), a chronic disorder that targets the neuromuscular system. There is no known cure for auto-immune diseases, and she was meant to be on maintenance medication for the rest of her life – but she managed to get out of it. In 2016, she was diagnosed with breast cancer. Despite the many treatments available, like chemotherapy and radiation, there is no guarantee that one can completely cure such a disease – and yet, we have Christina retelling her journey of recovery, today. Christina read the book Spontaneous Healing, by Andrew Weil, MD, a Harvard-educated doctor, known for his work in integrative medicine. It was through this book that Christina discovered the wonders of integrative cancer treatments, like Chinese medicine, bioidentical hormones, meditation and going on a spiritual journey. But those aren’t the secrets to her recovery… The real MVP here is when Christina decided to change her mindset, let go of her fear of death, and started entertaining different possibilities that eventually led to the renewed life she enjoys today! On today's episode of Integrative Cancer Solutions we are joined by Deb Krier. Herjourney through the world of cancer has been profoundly shaped by her past experiences. Years ago, she worked for an oncologist, a remarkable man whose approach to cancer care was far ahead of his time. This experience greatly influenced her perspective and decisions when she faced her own cancer diagnosis in 2015. The oncologist's recent passing saddened me, but his forward-thinking philosophy continues to inspire her. Additionally, her work with the American Cancer Society provided her with valuable knowledge, which came into play when she was diagnosed. When she was diagnosed, the initial discovery was calcification, detected by a mammogram, and not a lump or bump. These tiny spots, smaller than grains of salt, led to further tests and a stage zero cancer diagnosis. While the situation was concerning, it wasn't immediately alarming. However, subsequent tests revealed that the cancer had spread to her lymph nodes, necessitating a more aggressive approach. Her journey included biopsies, MRIs, and eventually, a double mastectomy. Throughout this process, she chose to follow traditional treatments but also did extensive research to make informed decisions. This experience taught me the importance of being proactive and knowledgeable about one's own health. Despite facing multiple complications, including septic shock and the loss of part of her digestive system, she persevered. Her approach to treatment, including a decision against reconstructive surgery, was guided by thorough research and personal comfort. She also embraced a mindset focused on living fully despite my health challenges. This philosophy was reinforced by the memory of her oncologist and his emphasis on the power of the mind. Ultimately, her experiences led her to create an organization dedicated to helping others navigate similar journeys. Beyond being a disease, what is cancer? The afflicted often see it as a curse, a punishment, the manifestation of a lifetime’s worth of mistakes, and to some, maybe even divine retribution. To be diagnosed with something that, for the longest time, has no definite remedy or cure, can easily feel like hell on earth. It is painful and debilitating, to the point where all your hope and reason for living are slowly running dry. A touch of this disease can easily spiral into something worse in no time at all…if you let it! If there’s one thing that survivors have learned in their journey to successful recovery, it’s that a positive disposition almost ascertains full recovery – a chance worth more than the 50/50 you get out of traditional cancer treatments. Kathleen McCarthy recounts her journey after being diagnosed with bladder cancer. Doctors found 30 tumors in her bladder and they were recommending industrial chemotherapy. The flaw of most cancer treatments is leaving the body in a much weaker state.
Chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery, are among the "mainstream" cancer therapies. These treatments often cause substantial side effects, including (but not limited to) fatigue, anemia, hair loss, nausea, vomiting, and weight loss.
The worst part is that these cancer treatments are still far from being actual solutions, because stopping any re-occurrence of cancer is not guaranteed.
And so, when the worst-case scenario comes and a patient has to undergo these treatments again, they're more often left in an even more vulnerable state.
When the goal is to live a longer and fuller life after surviving cancer, these treatments fall short from being the the most viable options.

The best cancer to have is the one you never get! However, at the moment, cancer is far from being TRULY preventable.
And what we can't prevent, we need to deal with in a way that promotes living a full life!
Thanks to innovations in technology as well as in the medical field, the likes of Intensive Photodynamic Therapy Programs (PDT) have emerged.
PDT is one of the most interesting and promising approaches for the treatment of various cancers and illnesses. This therapy, in particular, is clinically proven and minimally invasive!
The idea behind PDT is to use light to both kill the cancer cells AND support healthy cells.
PDT has 3 important parts:
1. Photosensitizing Agent 2. Light 3. Oxygen
Non-toxic dyes known as photosensitizers are administered systemically, locally or intravenously, and accumulate in the tumor or other lesions. Intravenous and interstitial illumination with visible or infra-red laser light excites the sensitizer, which in the presence of oxygen, produces reactive oxygen species that mediate cytotoxic effects. Undesirable cells such as infectious microbial cells or malignant cancer cells can be selectively killed by this approach.
While PDT has yet to be perfected (like other existing treatments), it has definitely become a strong and viable cancer treatment due to its effectiveness and non-threatening nature towards healthy cells.

“Why ME? What Did I DO to Deserve This?!” No one deserves to be in pain, at risk of losing the most precious gift that is Life, and yet here we are with so many patients suffering because of Cancer. One such patient is Dr. Madlena Kantscheff! Born and raised in Bulgaria, Dr. Madlena followed her parents’ desires like a good daughter, and pursued a career in dentistry. She earned her degree and became a Dental Medical Doctor at the age of 23. At the age of 30, she moved to Germany where she opened her dental practice. At that age, she felt like she was “On Top of the World”, until the death of her husband (4 months after opening her practice in Germany) brought her to her knees and down on the ground. Stricken with grief, Dr. Madlena devoted her life to taking care of “To-Do Lists” – getting chores done, taking care of her patients, paying the bills and putting food on the table – but she didn’t take care enough of herself. Cancer cells are like zombies. They have lost their purpose and meaning in life, but instead of running for the hills…they keep coming for you. It’s jarring and destructive that way! And, as we strive to find better treatment and prevention strategies, it’s important to acknowledge one indisputable truth: cancer cells are what they are because they could no longer fulfill their purpose. This is why there is no singular solution for cancer — and thus, why integrative solutions are so essential. Many people and organizations are trying to look for solutions in the world of cancer treatments. The main focus is usually tumor-based, where everyone’s so focused on shrinking, removing, or blasting it away, all while trying to do the “least harm” to the patient. With that ideology, we take for granted the environment in which the tumor was created in. We fail to recognize that when the environment shifts, so does the tumor. And just as cancer has many different forms and each form is unique for each person, the environments in which the tumor “thrives” in are also unique. Taking care of your health is crucial, especially during a pandemic. But it's even more important when you've been diagnosed with cancer. But the big question is: How Do You Do That?! Even without cancer, the pandemic has also made life so difficult. The emotional stress alone can be so daunting, what with financial and health concerns at the forefront. Companies are downsizing, people getting retrenched, Covid wards still filling up. And so, one can only imagine what people like Diane Peters might’ve experienced after getting diagnosed with cancer during the pandemic. What at first seemed like an ordinary tongue sore became much more terrifying for Diane. She initially had an ENT specialist examine it, and they decided that it wasn’t anything out of the ordinary…not until Diane started hemorrhaging at work and needed to go back to the hospital. It was then that Diane was diagnosed with tongue cancer. It wasn’t about to get any easier for Diane. Besides the pandemic and the full occupancy in the hospitals, there were other concerns that stressed her out. She had to undergo a series of radiation and chemotherapy sessions, each entailing complex preparations and struggles. 37 radiation treatments and 7 chemotherapy sessions after, Diane thought she could finally get a breather as she was found with no evidence of the disease. However, Diane didn’t feel like it was the case. She could still feel a lump. A trip back to the hospital was all she needed to know that she gained additional tumors and cancer had spread to her lungs. No longer wanting to solely rely on excessively painful (and costly) treatments, Diane decided to explore additional options. We forget that death comes to us all.
We usually think it’ll come for others but accepting our own mortality is probably the most difficult thing to do.
It’s not that we think we can elude death. It’s that no one wants to think of the end…until the signs come up.
Dr. Pradeep Bansal was diagnosed with ureteral cancer (Sept, 2019). Pain and massive blood discharge during urination prompted him to go to the hospital where doctors found an early stage of cancer.
Stage 1 cancer didn’t merit chemotherapy. Dr. Pradeep went through a successful surgery that produced several good results. Everything was great until a year later, during a routine check-up, cancer of the bladder was found, along with a nodule in the lung.
In a year’s time, his cancer leaped to stage 4.
As a physician, he took it hard because he knew the worst that was coming. Naturally, he became depressed. Physically, he felt fine with barely any symptoms at that point, but his state of mind was turbulent.
Usually, a physician such as himself would first seek antidepressants and psychiatric treatment. However, Dr. Pradeep felt apprehensive of these due to side effects that he encountered from a previous treatment.
He believes that although such a treatment would alleviate some of his suffering, the treatment does very little for a cancer patient (overall), especially when one has to deal with his “impending doom”.
Anxiety and depression are common among patients dealing with serious illnesses, and these create a vicious cycle. Illnesses trigger anxiety or depression, which then erodes overall health, which in turn negatively impacts the treatment, and circles back to triggering mental health problems.
In search of an alternative to addressing depression and anxiety, which would hopefully lead to positive cancer treatment results, Dr. Pradeep explored “How to Change Your Mind”, by Michael Pollan.
Pollan’s book outlined the therapeutic benefits of psychedelics, for the dying or seriously ill, including the healing and restorative effects they can have on people suffering from depression, anxiety, and addiction.

When modern medicine doesn’t have the answers, where do you go? Where do you begin to find answers when even the best medical professionals have no definitive cure for the likes of cancer? Even with today’s medical and technological breakthroughs and innovations, the medical community still has gaps to fill in terms of understanding cancer. Despite many different studies and theories, they’ve yet to arrive at an absolute solution that helps cure every cancer patient in the world. Without question, things were much harder back in 1976 when Diana Davis was diagnosed with Leukemia. Cancer treatment back then was rudimentary at best. Diana was prescribed homeopathic treatment. If killing cancer cells don’t work, maybe it’s time to rescue those cells and turn them back to normal. This is the ideology that Dr. Neil McKinney has been working with for decades! After years of practice, teaching, and leadership in integrative oncology, Dr. Neil McKinney has retired in 2020, but continues to impact the health community through collaborations in select research projects. Despite no longer providing direct services to patients, former colleagues continue to seek his advice for his expertise in integrative oncology. On the matter of alternative cancer solutions, he maintains that turning cancer cells back to normal and healthy cells through mitochondria rescue is one of the best and most feasible solution. While many believe that cancer begins with the mutation of healthy cells, Dr. Neil believes that it starts with nutritional changes in the body, which then affects the mitochondria of healthy cells, eventually leading to mutation into cancer cells. When our bodies are subjected to bad nutrition (i.e., excessively high intake of salt and sugar), our cells’ mitochondria are unable to provide the necessary energy for cells to work. As an act of desperation, our cells switch on oncogenes in order to mutate and survive in the bad environment we create in our bodies. In essence, if we keep the mitochondria healthy, the likelihood of oncogenes getting expressed becomes significantly reduced. There is a widespread belief that cancer is caused, at least in part, by aberrant mental processes. Stemming from this belief is the idea that cancer may be cured by the application of the mind.
Within our subconscious is a programming that’s meant to keep us alive and safe. Up on the surface is the conscious mind that receives data from the environment and logically determines our actions based on a given stimulus.
When these 2 parts of our minds don’t agree with each other, the conscious mind starts rationalizing our actions in order to influence the subconscious. In effect, our minds may start accommodating the actions but it doesn’t mean our bodies agree to the stress our actions may place upon us.
In that moment where our subconscious becomes conflicted on whether to accommodate the needs of the body or the demands of the conscious mind, we garner unwanted stress and negative energy that generate things like cancer.
And so, in the battle against cancer, a reasonable approach is to reconcile the conscious and the subconscious through methods such as meditation and other natural therapies. Today, Norman Plotkin recounts his battle against thyroid cancer. When harsh procedures and radiation started doing more harm than healing, Norman began looking for alternatives such as meditation.

Take it from Jamie Edmonton who was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2019.

Possibly the most frightening bit about cancer is the number of people who submit to their “fate”.
Many patients diagnosed with cancer (even in the early stages) give up before they’ve considered all their options.
It doesn’t help their case when doctors give them the “ultimatum” which they end up accepting.
Fortunately, there are people like Christian Hegarty who continue to fight against overwhelming odds!
Christian’s challenge started when he was diagnosed with osteosarcoma. Despite receiving conventional treatment, the cancer progressed and attacked other parts of his body, which then led to a series of complications.
After 7 years of conventional therapy, doctors started giving Christian the “ultimatum”. However, Christian and his brother, John, refused to accept that the projected life expectancy is all that’s left.
“There has to be another way! There must be a better path.”
With John’s help, Christian sought to explore treatments beyond traditional medicine, to include increased doses of vitamin C, infrared sauna, mistletoe extracts, plant-based diets, lifestyle changes, among other naturopathic treatments.

Alden was diagnosed with stage four metastatic melanoma after discovering a lump near his jaw. Despite the grim prognosis, he and his partner, Anne, decided against traditional surgery due to the severe side effects and minimal hope offered by their doctors. Instead, they sought alternative treatments, inspired by their past success in dealing with their daughter's mercury poisoning through unconventional means. They consulted various holistic practitioners and adopted a regimen that included positive thinking, love, gratitude, and the use of a vibrational healing machine called the Monicor device. Over the course of ten weeks, Alden's tumors completely disappeared, much to the astonishment of his doctors. When Alden returned to his surgeon for a follow-up, the doctor was shocked and admitted he had never seen anything like it. Alden and Anne explained their approach, which included neuroplasticity, herbal supplements, and the Monicor device, though the medical professionals found it difficult to comprehend. The head of oncology research at the university was particularly intrigued, noting that Alden's overall health had improved significantly. Despite her enthusiasm and the remarkable results, she acknowledged that implementing such unconventional methods in mainstream medicine would require extensive study and time, highlighting the challenges of integrating alternative treatments into traditional medical practices. After all the tests were done, the doctors were astounded, declaring that he was no longer a cancer patient and didn’t need to return. Despite their reassurances, we couldn’t help but question if he was truly cancer-free. However, we decided to trust the results and move forward, though we waited a few years before sharing our experience widely. We wanted to ensure that the healing was real and lasting, especially considering the initial severity of his diagnosis and the fact that the cancer had metastasized. “During this period, we remained cautious, wondering if the cancer might reappear elsewhere. Even the surgeon from Harvard, Dr. Califano acknowledged that while the parotid gland had been compromised, there was no cancer left in the lymph nodes. He was surprised to find no cancer cells, a rarity even in healthy individuals. This thorough process confirmed that the alternative treatments we pursued were effective, reinforcing our decision to continue with our approach. The surgeon, exhausted but impressed, admitted that our methods were more effective than conventional treatments could have been."

Today on Integrative Cancer Solutions I am joined by Lourdes Lavoy. Lourdes was on her way to an incredible acting career and then got the dreaded news about having cancer. She knew right away that she was not going down the traditional way of chemo and had so many great stories to share on this episode.
Lourdes and her husband Chris produced and directed the award-winning documentary “Create Option C: My Journey with Cancer” Both have worked closely with Hollywood Showrunners and writers on their TV concept based on their story. Award-winning actress and filmmaker Lourdes Reynolds, AKA Lourdes Lavoy, got her big break in Hollywood after auditioning for a CBS Casting Director, Fern Orenstein. Impressed with her work, she sent Lourdes to audition for the role of Anna Rodriguez on the hit TV series Without a Trace. Lourdes landed the role and was given an exclusive holding deal with CBS. Lourdes & Chris have written a book, "Our Journey To Option C: An inspirational love story that proves that love DOES conquer all...Including cancer" to help others on a grander scale to know that anything is possible if you incorporate Option C into your life. Option C applies to all areas of your life, not just your health, and they show and explain this in their talks. Chris and Lourdes met in college. The two came from completely different backgrounds. Lourdes was born in Puerto Rico and was raised in the projects North of Chicago; Chris was born in a small town in Minnesota to a military family and was whisked away to Japan for a couple of years. Lourdes developed lifelong friends. They’ve become her extended family, and they are all fiercely loyal to her. Chris has moved from state to state his whole life and has his immediate family. The two from diverse worlds created a perfect union complimenting each other perfectly. The two started to work together on various projects and found that they complimented each other professionally. As a young girl, Lourdes knew that she was meant for performing and put on little plays and skits for her friends and family. As a teenager, Lourdes started modeling. Her modeling blossomed into an acting career. Lourdes made a name for herself in Chicago and found herself on a shortlist of actresses consistently getting work in commercials for television and print. Lourdes met and fell in love with her husband, Chris, in college. The pair has two daughters. Lourdes’ print work could be seen nationally on billboards and in magazines. Lourdes and her family moved to California, where her career continued to skyrocket. As an actress, she was put on the ballots to be considered a nominee for an Emmy Award for her guest-starring role on the hit TV series “Without A Trace” as Anna Rodriguez. She has now received several awards as an actress and filmmaker. Lourdes believes that we are on this planet to make a difference for the better. She has done just that with this documentary. Lourdes was an actress about to break out when she started to experience strange non-categorical symptoms. Exhaustion aches and pains, and strange tumors would come and go. Lourdes finally knew that something was definitely wrong with her when a growth developed on her neck. Though she put off going to see the doctor, she knew before anyone that she had cancer. When her friends and family found out that she had cancer, it was a devastating shockwave of fear and sorrow. Lourdes had a different thought process. She knew that she was given the opportunity to make a difference in the world. Lourdes decided that she would not only cure herself naturally, but she would also document her journey. Chris and Lourdes became a team on their journey to Option C. Cancer is probably one of the most dreadful words in the dictionary. Yet almost 50 % of us have been or will be faced with the diagnosis. Suddenly you are faced with sifting through a mountain of information to figure out how to survive this dreadful disease for the sake of yourself, your children and grandchildren. Many have decided against the orthodox treatment as the only option, because you’ve seen friends and family members who contracted cancer and followed their doctor’s recommendations, only to die within a year or two suffering the devastating effects of chemo and supposedly pinpointed radiation.
