Today we are talking about money and the fear of selling higher-priced products. I’ll share my own money mindset story and encourage you to think about where your money stories are coming from and ways to change your Money Mindset.  Stop feeling bad, reframe your way of thinking and sell the product! When people need something they are going to buy it no matter what, so why not offer the product and have them buy from you?  Let’s dive in.

In today’s episode, we talk about:

  • Your Money Mindset and how it can be prohibitive as you grow your business if you let it.
  • If you don’t believe in every part of your product and business it's going to be really hard to sell it.
  • You can’t be apologetic about anything in your product line. There will be pieces/products you don't like, there will be some you love - that is part of it! 
  • Think beyond the cost and think of the transformation the product can do for your customer.
  • If you just think about how expensive it is and don’t ask people to buy it, it will be a problem.  
  • Change your money Mindset - don’t see money as a scarcity, shift away from that.  You don’t have to worry about other people's financial situations.
  • What you can worry about is whether or not your product can solve a problem.  If it can solve a problem, people are going to buy it.
  • If there is a need for it, it will happen, but you have to get out of your mind that you are inconveniencing someone and putting them in a tough financial situation.
  • If there is a transformation (Hello, all products have one!), then there is nothing to worry about.
  • Let go of this belief, around asking other people to spend money.  You are only offering a solution to their problem.
  • Think about where your money stories are coming from and change your Money Mindset. You aren’t asking anyone to buy, you are merely offering a solution to their problem.

In today’s episode, we talk about:

  • How it’s not too soon to start talking about the holidays!
  • People are spending money, and in this time of recession, people are also looking for additional money.
  • Your messaging - we talk about this a lot - Your brand is your messaging.
  • Think about who your Ideal Customer is and what the holidays do to her. Then think and dig deep for ways you can solve the problem that she has.
  • If you put this into action you will be up-leveling what you offer, and you’ll be doing it differently - which will make you stand out!
  • Help your customer in their life then connect your product to their life. Connection is so important!
  • Don’t just sell your product - solve a problem for your customer.
  • Don’t be shady, be authentic. Show her through your messaging that she can’t live without your product.
  • What is your goal for January?
  • Start building relationships and content now to start attracting new leads to keep you going in January.  
  • What can you do for your audience, customers, and team members to ensure they have a great holiday, and beyond?

Today we are talking about one of the lies Direct Sellers are being told.  There are four big lies, but today we are focusing on lie #2.  The second lie you, as a Direct Seller,  are being told is all you need to do is share your company's posts and put your product first.  This is not true my friends! It is so tempting to copy what everyone else is doing, but when you share other people's images and writings they have created, it's not your brand.  Let’s dive in today and talk about branding yourself and setting yourself apart from everyone else.

In today’s episode, we talk about:

  • The four big lies Direct Sellers are being told. 
  • People follow you for you. No matter what you sell, or what you do, people are going to follow you.
  • When you speak their language, powerful things happen!
  • Your branding sets you apart from every other direct seller. Your audience is drawn to you! Not your product or business plan, but YOU.
  • People don’t care as much about your product as they do about who you are.
  • Building your brand helps you connect with them on a deeper level.
  • Branding is also your messaging. What you say to your ideal customer and your content, are all so important!
  • Understand what your messaging is and learn how to make it valuable and help you stand out.
  • It's not about the product but how you can serve your customer on a deeper level and how you can solve a problem for them.
  • The connection should be first and foremost, not the selling of the product, that will come!
  • When there is more than just your product and the pieces of content your company creates, and you add value, that is when the magic happens!
  • It's all about building relationships and taking the time to connect on a deeper level.
  • What problem can you solve for your ideal customer? Dig Deep.
  • What value can you bring to their lives?

Today we are talking about ten things your upline tells you that are wrong! Please for the love of God - that is our theme of the day, don’t do these ten things. What is the craziest advice you’ve been given? I want to hear yours, message me, and let's get in touch!

In today’s episode, we talk about:

  • The ten things your upline tells you, that are just WRONG
  • Your CTA should NOT be business related. It's so important to make sure your CTA isn’t business related.  This helps create engagement.
  • If your upline is asking you to do spammy things - No, red flag! This is not how you grow a sustainable business - this is not how we change the network marketing business.
  • Listen to your gut - there is a difference between being uncomfortable when listening to your gut and being uncomfortable because it's spammy. Do what feels right.
  • It's not true that you have to beat the algorithms to grow your business - there are so many other ways.
  • This is a relationship industry we are in. It's about relationships and serving. It's about helping people who need help, not the ones not interested and that don’t need your help. Focus on serving those who want your help.
  • The more bad strategies we allow to continue the harder it will be to grow your team because it magnifies the negativity in this industry.
  • This industry is incredible, there is so much potential for personal growth. Girl, I'm here to amplify the beautiful things.  Let's stop with the negative things

So many people start their business as a hobby and to have something fun to do. But how do you know if you want this as a hobby or business, I’ve got a few questions to ask yourself.

In today’s episode, we talk about:

  • The problem that arises when we treat our business like a hobby but want the results to be like a business.
  • Ask yourself - Did I start this business because I want to build this into a 5 or 6-figure business or is this for fun something that helps me relax?
  • If you don’t have focused work time, you don’t focus on growth.
  • Hobby - Something that is done in your leisure time, when you have time, with no expectations. It just makes you happy. It helps you relax.
  • Business - it's a primary way to get income or a side hustle.
  • More questions to ask yourself - What do you want out of this business? Do you want to grow a team? Do you have big dreams? Do you imagine walking across the stage? Do you have the desire to be in leadership? If you answered yes, you need to start treating this business as a business if you want those outcomes.

Today we are talking about engaging your customers, prospects, team members, and your audience in general.  You have to engage with your people so they can get to know you! Let’s talk about how to do it together in today’s episode.

In today’s episode, we talk about:

  • The 3rd System in the “Aces” Framework
  • Think about customers/potential customers. What can you do to engage and connect with them?
  • One tool is Email - send an email once a week - one that is about connecting and nurturing your audience.
  • Email is also a great way to help guide new team members and a great way to stay in touch with your team.  
  • Having a sequence of 4-6 emails that help guide new team members through the onboarding process, helps them feel connected, and gives them the opportunity to respond and ask questions.
  • Social Media is another way to engage, but it shouldn’t be your only tool.
  • When you share content on social media (live, post, reel, etc) and get comments - Respond!
  • If someone likes your page - message them and engage, but make it personal - get to know your audience!
  • Don’t rely on social media to be the only way to engage your team
  • Know who your ideal customer is, and start creating opportunities to engage with them, to motivate, to inspire, to entertain. Start the conversation!
  • Think of ways to add value to your ideal customer and create engagement. 
  • With your team, run contests and give them opportunities for coaching.
  • Give them opportunities to engage, grow and learn.
  • How do I engage my ideal customer, my customer, and my team? Have a plan and focus on what works.

In today’s episode, we talk about:

  • “Aces” Framework - the four systems you need in place in order to grow and have a successful network marketing business.
  • The second system is converting customers into leads
  • You have to know your customers! Who are you attracting?
  • Everyone is not going to join your team, it's not designed that way. Don’t expect this.
  • Customers need to know you and get to know you.  They need to see your face!
  • In this day and age you must be going LIVE.  This is part of the conversion process.
  • If you don’t see someone's face they can’t connect with you.
  • The connection piece is so important!
  • Live on Facebook, Instagram, blog, and YouTube - it doesn’t matter - they just need to see your face!
  • Share something valuable and let them see you and get to know you.
  • You are your brand - but you aren’t just one thing.  You have a lot to offer and a lot to teach others.
  • Are you ready for more? To see your little side gig turn into more. You are more than your product and company, think outside the box to add value to other people's lives.
  • Go live weekly, make this part of your system.
  • Think outside the box of ways to convert customers into leads - send samples (if they want them), show them items that relate to your product (are you an organizer, show the new caddy you got at the dollar tree)
  • Look at the Incoming Producing Activities Guide for ideas.
  • Start conversions by building relationships with your audience. Do this by connecting, showing your face, and adding value.
  • Email is a great tool to connect.  Connect through email, this is a massive way to market yourself and your business and in turn convert your audience, your leads, into team members.

Today we are talking about what you believe about yourself, the energy you bring to your business, and how it affects your life and your business.  Stop expecting negative results, change your mindset, and watch your business become what you want it to be!

In today’s episode, we talk about:

  • Having the expectation of a successful business - expect the business that you want.
  • Stop focusing on what you don’t have, stop leading with the negative piece, this is what you end up creating.
  • Talk about what you do have and what you are building.
  • What you believe about yourself and your business is what you will create.
  • You are creating a situation you don’t want to be in - stop giving the negative thoughts your energy.
  • When you feel frustrated and annoyed, your business will look like that.
  • Flip a switch and start thinking positively.  What are you saying about your business and your life? If you are putting out negative thoughts and energy that is what you are going to get in return.
  • The thoughts and beliefs you have around your business and self is what you are putting out there. If it's negative energy that is what people are seeing and feeling - Change it!
  • Don’t continue to dwell on negative situations. It's what you do in the discouragement that determines how successful you become.
  • It’s within you! You have the ability to change!
  • Look outside what you have - listen to a podcast, watch a training, read a book - be open to finding solutions.
  • Expect it, flip the switch, and it will happen!

  • Affirmations and how they will make an impact on your energy.
  • When comparing yourself to others, you will get negative results.
  • Do you have a lot of negative thoughts running through your head?
  • Positive self-talk is very helpful!
  • Think positive things, Say Positive things.
  • When we have a story about ourselves, we tend to find evidence to support it even if it's not true.
  • Let yourself dream - if you can dream it, you can reach it!
  • There will be times when you want to quit - You are not a quitter!
  • You are capable of achieving your dreams.
  • What is holding you back? Most of the time it's you.
  • Pour in positive thoughts daily!
  • Believe the truth, believe the positive thoughts.
  • I challenge you to write a list of 5-10 affirmations and say them daily.

You have the power to make this a positive experience, it starts with your mind!

Today we're continuing to talk about something that is really important… your personal brand. The network marketing industry is full of spammy direct sellers and I want you to stand out! Today we will talk about a few very important questions to help you build your brand.

In today’s episode, we talk about:

  • Your brand - all things branding and what you need
  • Your identity is not your product and it's not your company, it's you. Look within yourself.
  • Don’t rely on your product as your identity. Be you!
  • There is often shame associated with being a network marketer but there shouldn’t be! Let’s change this.
  • Love what you do and finding your space.
  • Share more than your product, share encouragement. Your brand is YOU and nobody can take that away!
  • There is something unique about you that makes you different. People are drawn to you for a reason.
  • With branding you can expand your revenue - it doesn’t just have to come with your business. You can offer a service, and have affiliates, there are so many ways to expand!
  • Create a personal brand. Start by asking yourself: What is my superpower? What is my zone of genius? Where do I come alive?
  • Brainstorm what you love! That is what your brand will become.
  • Your brand is so important! As you grow your business it's so vital because you are more than your product! Once you create your brand things will become so much easier for you.
  • People don’t care about the company, they care about you, you as a person.

  • Creating your brand and branding you and your company. 
  • Creating something that will help you make more money.
  • Branding is more than social media, more than the fonts and colors.
  • What makes you special? What are you saying to your audience?
  • When people are first introduced to you, do they see you or your company?  It's all about who you are! 
  • One of the biggest mistakes I see is branding yourself as your company and not yourself.
  • Go deeper. Be a part of this Bootcamp. Love yourself. The truth is there is more than one thing that makes you special. Tap into that! Find what gives you life!
  • What makes you different? What is your superpower? What is your zone of genius?
  • The first way you can dig deeper into your brand is by knowing who your ideal customer is and how to only speak to them. What does she love, and what does she need? Know her inside and out and speak to her!
  • The second way to dig deeper is to stop copying other network marketers!! You are you. You are not your upline. You are not your company. You are you! It's ok to be inspired, don't copy. Don’t be afraid. Start stepping out as you.
  • The third way to dig deep is to become more than your product. You ARE more than your product. People want to know you. You are amazing!
  • Lean into who you are and start that discovery process. Don't listen to the lies, “I’m not good enough, no one likes me, I have nothing to offer.”  That's just not true. There is a massive plan for you. You can stand out!

Today we are talking about something that is really important… the concept of rest. The network marketing industry is full of hustle culture, but ladies, you need to learn the work of REST.

In today’s episode, we talk about:

  • The reality is there is a lot of push to get a team, sales, etc. It is so important to recognize the signs of burnout. 
  • Burnout could be you feeling run-down, losing your passion for what you usually love to do, or the thought of having to do anything around your business is full of dread.
  • I want to get you to the point where you don’t get to the burnout, you are able to recognize it before you even get close to burnout. 
  • Today we are talking about how the REST is the work, and the hustle is not. It's a hard concept because we live in a society where our value comes from how much we produce, how hard we work, and our results. So we want those results. 
  • Take a minute to think back to when you first signed up and joined your company. Most people sign up for freedom-- financial freedom, calendar freedom, and schedule freedom. 
  • Hustling is NOT getting that freedom! 
  • What if you built a business that was reliant on the REST?
  • Envision this: what does your ideal business look like? What does your schedule look like? How do you see your business? What do you want out of your business? How do your family life, and personal life play a part? What would feel good to you? Start setting those boundaries.
  • It's time for you to take control of your calendar and your business! 
  • I just went on vacation and was tempted to work. Why did I think I needed to continue working on vacation? Vacation is important. Rest is important. Rest is part of the work. 
  • You need to make sure you are taking some time and release that pressure about being productive.
  • The REST is powerful and necessary in order for you to be productive. 
  • What is your creative space? Reflect on that and what you need.
  • The hustle hurts. If you hustle, hustle, hustle, then you will be forced to break and stop and not on your own terms.
  • Put aside some rest. Schedule it in. Do what YOU need.

In this episode, I want to talk to you about what is stopping you from taking action in your business and your life. I have a feeling that most of you listening to this are stuck deciding what action to take, or you’re running from a specific action that you know you need to take. So this week I want to talk about three roadblocks that might be stopping you and how to overcome them.

In today’s episode, we talk about:

  • I have seen 3 common roadblocks to why people are not taking action.
  • The first roadblock is because they are overthinking.
  • You are worried it's the wrong decision, it's a mistake, etc. 
  • I have been there, I over-thought every single thing at one point, and then I did NOTHING.
  • The second roadblock I see is perfectionism.
  • Messy action is better than no action. It does not have to be perfect.
  • When you want things perfect, it is a form of procrastination.
  • Messy action still needs to move the needle.
  • What you think is imperfect, other people are going to think is pretty darn perfect.
  • The third roadblock stopping you from taking action is fear.
  • The biggest fears I see in my students are; fear of failure, fear of the unknown, and fear of not knowing enough.
  • Fear of failure: This is a normal fear. EVERYONE struggles with this. Failure is what is going to help you grow though. Failure is not really failure--- it just means something didn’t work.
  • Fear of the unknown: I would encourage you to keep moving forward, you will figure it out. Take the leap of faith and keep going!
  • Fear of not knowing enough: You don’t have to be an expert, you just have to take action and show up.
  • Recognize these fears, look them straight in the face and tell them to “get behind” you. 
  • My challenge to you this week is to take action. A small action is still an action, so let’s do it, sister!

Today we are talking all about taking action! Did you know there are both good and bad types of actions you can take in life? Let’s dive into this topic together to understand what I mean and make sure you are on the right track to success!

In today’s episode, we talk about:

  • Messy action means just doing it. Even if it’s not perfect, even if it's not where you want it to be, just do it. 
  • Your messy action doesn’t mean it’s a messy product, it just means it isn’t the final product. 
  • Have you asked yourself: “Is the type of action that you are taking the right action?”
  • Messy action is always good because it means you are willing to move forward and not be stuck. 
  • But are you possibly taking the wrong action? You can sometimes trick yourself that you are on the right path when the reality is that your actions are not moving the needle forward. It's like you’re doing busy work and stuck on a hamster wheel.
  • Think about what you are doing right now… is it moving the needle?
  • If it’s not, are you maybe spending time on a whole bunch of tasks that are a waste of time?
  • The first step is to evaluate if it is the RIGHT action. 
  • If you decide that your current action step does not move the needle, then choose what WILL and do it. Don’t run from it. 
  • Don’t hide behind fear, don’t be scared. Fear will come up, but you can’t run or quit, because then that needle stops moving.
  • Sometimes it takes time for the needle to move, but if you are consistent and know the actions you are taking are the right ones, it will pay off.
  • Are the actions you are taking really getting you closer to your goal, or is it helping you avoid the action you SHOULD be taking?
  • The only way you can move forward is by taking that right, messy action. So let’s do it together, sister. I’m here for you!

In this episode, we are going to talk about what type of person you are. Are you someone who is evolving or someone who is at a stagnant, stand-still? Let’s dive into this today, together!

In today’s episode, we talk about:

  • There are two types of people. People who are just okay with where they are, with no real desire to grow or change. And then there are people who want to evolve. Check out this Instagram reel about this that I posted this week.
  • Are you always evolving? Are you willing to grow and change into a beautiful butterfly?
  • I’m never ok with where I am. Meaning… I want to be a different person in 10 years. I want to be a better version of myself.
  • I look at who I was 10, 15, and 20 years ago, and I am so happy with who I am now. I am proud of the change. 
  • Why do you want to evolve? Why is it not okay to just be ‘okay’? The danger in it is that we become lazy when we are just fine with being ‘okay’. When you choose to stay in that comfort zone, I feel like that’s not bettering yourself or your future self. 
  • Getting scared is not the same thing as staying stagnant. It is normal to feel fear, but you know what, you will not be the same person after you have taken that leap of faith.
  • When you choose to level up, there is going to be some pushback because our comfort zone doesn’t want you to grow. There will always be a moment of doubt after you take the leap.
  • Failures are not really failures. It is all about how you view things.
  • When excuses are presented, it's a scarcity mindset. You want a growth mindset!
  • When you fall into that self-talk of “I’m ok. Sure I want more, but I’m good”, I really want you to challenge yourself and choose to be someone who wants to evolve. 
  • I’m going to challenge you on why you can’t take the leap!
  • If you’re scared, you are being honest, and we can work with that! If you are using excuses, that is you being stuck. 
  • If you don’t have the desire to grow, be okay with it. Don’t complain you aren’t making enough money, or aren’t finding time to spend time with family. DO something about it! 
  • So friends, who is the person you want to be?

Today we are talking about the hustle of network marketing and how we have to stop it! Can you be anti-hustle and successful? Yes, I think there is a way. Let’s talk about how to do it together in today’s episode.

In today’s episode, we talk about:

  • We’ve got to stop this hamster-wheel hustle!  
  • Hustling is not sustainable. 
  • The first step in stopping the hustle is to PRIORITIZE your life. 
  • What is the priority in your life? Is it really your business? I dare say that your business is a vehicle to get you to your priority (more time with family, freedom, etc.)
  • If you hear nothing else, hear this: If you are being told in order to be successful you must hustle and post in your Facebook groups 2+ times a day---they are WRONG and you have got to stop it! 
  • The second step is to SET BOUNDARIES. An example would be setting the phone to dnd or even OFF after a certain time of the day. In order to stop the hustle, you have to have boundaries and honor them.
  • We are surrounded by people who have no boundaries and work all the time, it's hard not to compare. 
  • Hustling does not give us a good quality of life.
  • The third step is to CONSIDER YOUR NEEDS AND YOUR DESIRES. 
  • Get really real with yourself right now: Are you loving everything about your company and the expectations they set? 
  • You don’t have to hustle to be a success. 
  • In order for you to be successful, you need to consider what you need.

In this episode, we are going to talk about if you’re playing to win or playing not to lose. What does that mean and which one are you?

In today’s episode, we talk about:

  • If you’re playing to win, it means you are investing in the things that bring you further, faster. You are on the path to becoming someone who has the capacity for success.
  • Playing not to lose means you come up with excuses not to play hard. You don’t like to get uncomfortable. You aren’t relentless in your mission. You come up with excuses.
  • So I ask you: Are you playing to win or playing not to lose? be REALLY honest with yourself.
  • What do you want? Are you coming up with excuses as to why you can’t make this happen?
  • We are so afraid of failure. And yes failure SUCKS, but I am where I am today because of those failures and I don’t regret any of them. Yes, it was hard, but it was worth it.
  • We need to lean into the fact that failures are going to happen. And also acknowledge you will get through it. 
  • Don’t let excuses rule you. “ I don’t have time, money, my kids need me, etc.”
  • If you change nothing, nothing changes. You will stay where you are. 
  • IF you take action and invest in yourself and your business, that is playing to win!

I am pro-living the life you were made for. If that includes MLM and/or owning your own business, I’m here for you for whatever journey you choose.

  • So many people don’t believe or even know what possibilities are even out there for them. 
  • Network marketing is such a springboard and I want to talk through all the possibilities with you! 
  • I created this reel that really disrupted things… which was uncomfortable for me.

  • My passion is to teach you to have a backup plan and continue to do what you love!
  • When I started my direct sales business, people would tell me “I retire my husband, and it is awesome.” Some people at the tippy top get there, but most people don’t and there is nothing wrong with that or you. This is the nature of the business.
  • Starting an online business is not all roses, but it is exciting and there is so much potential.
  • I would not be where I am today without doing my own direct sales business.

This week we are talking about whether or not you’re meant for more and if you should step out and build your own brand or own business. Girlfriend, you ARE in fact meant for more! I believe you are supposed to take the next step and I’m here to cheer you on, all the way!

In this episode, we talk about:

  • Sometimes it takes someone from the outside to guide you through the process to walk you through it, and lady… that someone is me!
  • Maybe ‘the more’ you are looking for is stepping into leadership, maybe ‘the more’ is starting something of your own. Let’s figure out what it is together if you’re not sure.
  • Follow the nudge and lean into that! When we don’t lean into those nudges, we miss out.
  • I encourage you to move into the space of the unknown, it’s soo worth it!
  • Nobody wants to get uncomfortable, you’ve kept the scratchy old blanket on too long but there is a PLUSH Costco blanket waiting for you. There is a better way and you are meant for it!
  • What it took for me to step into an online business was someone who believed in me.
  • I want to be that person to encourage you that you CAN do it and I believe in you!
  • My friend Kristen Vanhorn realized she could make a bigger impact by starting something outside of her network marketing business and that was her ‘more’.
  • Network marketing is a springboard to your more, to that next thing. It’s an incredible place to start out. That is how I started but then it was time for me to move on. 
  • Sometimes your passion is gone or you just get tired of the hamster-wheel feeling that sometimes happens within your network marketing business, and that is OK. I am here to tell you there is more, and you are meant for it! 
  • If you are feeling defeated, there is more out there for you!

How to Get Clarity When You Have None01 Feb 202200:22:43

Have you ever felt lost and confused or unmotivated in your business or personal life? That’s exactly where I’ve been these last few weeks and I wanted to share with you what caused this lack of direction and clarity, and how I got it back!

In this episode, we talk about:

  • How I had this ah-ha moment about my confusion about where I am and where I want to be in life and business. 
  • When we add things to our plate, something has to come off it. Think of your plate as being full now (because let’s be real ALL our plates are full).  We need to deal with what’s on our plate 1st. If we try to pile more stuff on it, things are falling off. 
  • So how did I deal with my full plate? I stopped and made a space to get quiet and reflect. I journaled and I took time to think about what I wanted. I wrote down what I wanted to do in my life and business.
  • Then I thought about what I am doing now. And I changed my “I want” statements to “I am”.  When I took the time to reflect on what I wanted to do with my life, I realized I AM doing what I want to be doing and what God wants me to be doing. I just confused myself and lost track. 
  • You may feel unmotivated because you don’t have the bandwidth to give more or do more. It's hard to get motivated when you are getting pulled in every direction. Sometimes it's getting stuck on where to even start. When your plate is so full, something is going to be ignored. What is on your plate, and what is the priority, what do you want?
  • To help you get laser-focused on what you want, you need to dive into your VALUES. 
  • Your values are the things that you believe are important in the way you live and work. They're your principles. I did this exercise to help me get clarity on what my values are and what needs to be on my plate in this season to get me where I want to be and bring me JOY. 
  • Try this value exercise here! This is how it works: First, go through it and highlight what stands out to you, then narrow it down to your top 20, then top 10, then top 5, and top 3.
  • Identify what your values are and work these into your life. This will help you with motivation and gaining clarity!

Today we are going to talk about what’s holding you back in your business. These 3 fears are what every single person faces when they are beginning something new and we’re going to dive into what they are, and how to get over them so you can be successful!

In this episode we talk about:

The 3 fears that get in the way of your business. We tend to fall back into old ways and have these fears creep in. These fears need to be squashed and we won’t move forward if these fears get in our way.

1. Fear of judgment. The fear of judgment is being afraid of what people think of you. We have all been judgmental. But when people are judgemental, it is their own stuff. These fears show up in different ways. It might look like we’re not showing up 100% or censoring ourselves. We don’t live life to the fullest because we are afraid.

2. Fear of rejection. The word “no” doesn’t mean you suck, and it doesn’t mean you shouldn't be doing this. It only means “no”. This fear shows up in your business when you are afraid to share the offering, when you don’t go live, when you don’t host parties, when you don’t even create the offer. If you are afraid of someone saying ‘no’, you are creating so much meaning around that word and you shouldn’t.

3. Fear that you’re not _____ enough (good, smart, charismatic, etc). This always starts when we start comparing ourselves with others. If you fall into this comparison trap, you’re not going to try new things, you feel defeated all the time, you are bringing negative energy into your business, and then you tend to look to other people to fill us up, and it always leads us into a crazy cycle.

How do you stop the fears from getting in the way?
Give yourselves a bucket full of grace and love. Remind yourselves of your worth. You are worthy regardless of how successful your business is. Then try to get to the root of the fear. Start tackling these fears and understand when and why they are happening.

This week I had the pleasure of talking with Christy Wright, best-selling author, speaker, mama, and business coach. We dive into talking about her new book “Take Back Your Time” and the #1 question that Christy gets asked… “how do you balance it all?!”

In this episode we talk about: 

  • This life balance that we all try to attain.
  • Looking at the priorities in our life.
  • What if balance isn’t what you do, but something you become? Where you can be balanced in an out-of-balance world.
  • How balance looks more like PEACE and being confident in your choices.
  • How to get more peace and balance is not being more efficient and productive. 
  • The idea that life balance isn't doing everything for an equal amount of time or everything all the time, it’s doing the right thing at the right time.
  • Shake the guilt off. You are not doing something wrong if you are doing what you love and what’s right for you.
  • How this practice starts with ownership of our lives and our time, and our schedule.
  • Align your time with the things that are more important. 
  • We don’t have to say ‘yes’ to everything.
  • This is YOUR LIFE. No one gets to tell you how to spend it. You get to decide how you want to spend it. 
  • We only ask ourselves: “Do they need me? Can I do it? Can I squeeze it in?” We NEED to be asking the questions: “Is this right for my family? Is this a priority? Do I want to do it? Is this right, right now?”
  • A good thing at the wrong time is the wrong thing.
  • Discerning this would bring the peace, and the balance you are looking for.
  • Excerpt from Christy’s book: “I don’t know what labels and limits you’ve been living within. But I want to remind you, you don’t have to. You can break out of the box you’ve put yourself in and dream about something bigger and better for yourself, your life, and your future.” (Mic drop…am I right?)
  • Sometimes we just have to hear the ridiculousness of our limits in order to get over them.

  • We make it mean so much when someone says no. But it truly means nothing.
  • Here’s what I really want you to take away from this: You are a gift. You have a purpose. You have so much worth. But everybody is not your people. Not everyone in your group or email list is your people. It has nothing to do with you or who you are.
  • Your business ebbs and flows. So does your social media following and VIP groups, and email list.
  • In order to build wealth, you must know your self-worth!
  • You have purpose and you are a gift to this world!
