I'm struggling with my faith28 May 202600:13:50

This is a hard one to post. For ten years, I had something I could only call God. I found it outside the church, in places that surprised me, through experiences that changed me. For the last year and a half, I've been searching for it again. I made this video because I didn't want to keep pretending I have it figured out.

If you're somewhere in the in-between too, maybe this is for you.

The Soul Scavenger Hunt is a free experience I made to help you find what's real in yourself: https://create.adamroa.com/soul-scavenger-hunt

My debut book Crazy Love comes out soon:

The Unsexy Conversation For Deeper Intimacy21 May 202600:29:23

In this episode I share a framework I've used for years to establish safe containers for intimacy. It sounds unsexy, but it has led to some of the most pleasurable experiences of my life.

If you want to go deeper into what you actually desire before your next conversation like this, this is where I'd start:

Soul Scavenger Hunt (free) — a guided experience for getting underneath the surface of what you want. https://create.adamroa.com/soul-scavenger-hunt

Why I Went Silent On Social Media30 Mar 202600:35:36

The Deep Dive has been quiet for five years. This is me coming back.

There's a version of me that learned to optimize. To script. To hook. To perform for an algorithm instead of speaking to a human being. This is me coming back from that.

In this episode I'm talking honestly about why I went quiet, and what I've been sitting with since. No agenda. No script. Just what's real.

If something in this conversation stirred something in you, I made something that might help you go deeper with it. It's called the Soul Scavenger Hunt, a free guided experience to help you find direction, reconnect with yourself, and take one honest step forward.

Kevin Walton - Is There Such Thing As Absolute Truth?12 May 202101:25:24

Do you believe in absolute truth?

On the surface this topic is already a pretty complicated one. But if you start to peel away the layers around this question, I promise you, it starts to go much deeper. It depends on who you talk to, it depends on their experiences, beliefs, religions, and on and on. So what is truth?

I've started something new on The Deep Dive, something I'm excited about. I want to ask my guests questions that are somewhat unanswerable and dive into a conversation that exposes not only the unique perspective of the individual, but also the expansive nature of the answer. This week, I was so excited to interview Kevin Walton; transformational coach, speaker, and all around inspirational thinker and motivator. I recently had the opportunity to hear him speak at Sacred Sons, a weekend of mens work led by some of the front running explorers of the subject, and was drawn in by his take on truth and and what it means for our evolution and growth. So I decided to ask him the question on this week's episode; Does absolute truth even exist?

What do you think? Enjoy this week's episode and join in the conversation by heading over to The Deep Dive Instagram @thedeepdive.

Gerard Adams - What's More Important For Happiness: Money or Creativity?05 May 202101:00:49

We've all heard the saying; Money can't buy happiness. It's an age old debate centered around the value of material wealth verses peace and contentment. The idea that money not only can't buy you happiness, but in fact distracts from true happiness, is an interesting topic that I think deserves more discussion. It's been called the root of all evil, but is that really the truth?

This week I dive deep into another discussion around a question that probably doesn't have an answer, with a respected entrepreneur and new close friend of mine Gerard Adams. I found a lot in common with Gerard, not only from a place of being financially successful in our lives but also from a similar experience of our journey to find self value and true self love.

There's been an element of experiencing financial freedom that has allowed the two of us to feel creatively free as well, and this week I thought that  it deserved a discussion about where we draw our value and how we use the wealth that we accumulate in our lives, whether that is financial or otherwise.

Where do you find your wealth?

I invite you to join the discussion with myself and Gerard Adams on this week's episode of the Deep Dive. Also, to join Gerard and I in a four month immersive experience in how to infuse your business or project with some high level conscious entrepreneurial spirit shoot me a DM on instagram saying "I'm Ready" or head to https://argaimmersion.typeform.com/to/gT92RPHE to apply today.

How To Get Over A Breakup Faster28 Apr 202100:15:20

Are you still holding on to something that doesn't serve you?

I talk about relationships a lot on this podcast. Lately you may have noticed that the subject has been around breakups and healing, moving on. No surprise there, I'm pretty committed to shooting from the hip on this podcast and being vulnerable and transparent about the things going on in my own life. My hope is that parts of my experience might offer some support to what you might be going through in your own life.

This week, I want to share some tips with you on how to move through times of change and transition faster and with more ease and grace. It maybe surprise you how simple this one is at first, but how difficult it can be to really apply to your life and implement in your experience. Try it out, join the conversation, and if you got something from this episode I'll invite you to share this with someone who might need to hear it too.

Kute Blackson - Can You Surrender Fully And Still Manifest Your Desires?21 Apr 202101:07:18

Are you finding it hard to trust and surrender?

It's discussed in different spiritual practices and pretty much any religion; how to surrender and have faith in a higher intention for our life. Some of us call it a Gods path or will, some call it destiny, and the debate of whether we are part of some divine plan or it's all a random experience of our souls independence is on that is age old.

So this week I decided to take the podcast in a bit of a different direction. For my interview with international speaker, transformational coach, and author of the new book "The Magic of Surrender" Kute Blackson, I wanted to move away from the usual interview format and ask a question that doesn't even really have an answer; Can you fully surrender while still holding on to your desires and the things you want to manifest in your life?

While it may bring up a ton of opinion, I believe this one is hard to answer. Kute and I definitely try to make sense of it in an in depth conversation that I would love to invite you to be a part of. It's question that takes us to the core of many beliefs and core values that have a huge effect on the way we live our life and what we're able to call in, definitely a deep question.

But after all; this is called The Deep Dive.

Enjoy the podcast, and for more from Kute Blackson or to get your hands on a copy of his new book go to www.kuteblackson.com

Why You Haven't Manifested What You Say You Want14 Apr 202100:08:54

Do you really know what you want?

Everyone has their tips and advice on manifestation. How to do it better, what not to do, or what to avoid. It's a deep process, one that has been studied and talked about much longer than we know. Calling in the reality that you desire, the job, partnership, abundance, health, etc is something that takes awareness and a level of personal understanding that takes a life time of exploration. So are you aware of the reason your not seeing the things you are trying to manifest? What blocks might be in the way that you may not even be conscious of?

In this week's podcast I want to share a little manifestation hack that I believe can help you develop a smoother process of calling in the reality you truly want to experience. It has to do with naming your fears, understanding the root of it, and moving through them so that you can clear space for all of the massive abundance that the universe is ready to provide to you.

Are you ready to start seeing your dreams show up in reality? I hope you enjoy this weeks musing and I'm excited to hear how it might begin to work in your life.

Freestyle Spoken Word Poetry - Back From The Shadows07 Apr 202100:10:16

"Do in need to invest in myself through pain, agony, sadness, and defeat,

In order to allow myself the sweet taste of victory? "

This week I'm releasing another freestyle. Spoken word, poetry, straight from my heart and my own personal experience. I've been giving myself permission these days; permission to accept myself more, to forgive myself, and love myself. To experience the life around me with a new perspective.

And, this poem feels that way…

Do you notice the difference?

As always, I'm inviting you to listen to this poem as an inspiration for your own artist expression. Maybe one that get's to be released after such an incredible year. I also hope that you are inspired by the growth that you, and I , hear in myself through this poem. That it can be a reminder that through art and vulnerability, we are able to heal deep wounds that can allow us to continue to create amazing things not in spite of, but because of our experiences.

Enjoy the this freestyle, and I look forward to your reflections.

3 Ways To Rebuild Trust With Yourself31 Mar 202100:18:08

Do you trust yourself?

Trust is truly one of, if not the most important thing you can build if you want to have a healthy relationship. Now, most of us equate trust as something that we have with one another. Your partner, your boss, your parents, your friends; really how positive can these relationships be if we don't trust each other?

But what about building trust with yourself?

We make commitments, big and small, to ourselves almost daily. "I'm going to eat healthier, I'm going to get up early today, I'm going to call that friend that I've been wanting to reconnect with"… but what happens when we don't honor those commitments? It's as easy to break this trust with ourself as it is to lose it, or have it broken, by someone else. It just may not be as apparent unless we are looking for it.

On this weeks podcast I want to share with you an exercise consisting of three ways to not only understand the ways that you've broken trust with yourself, but rebuild it. Just like any relationship, trusting in YOU is very possibly the most important thing you can do if you want to live a healthy, happy, and empowered life. And as always, it starts with awareness.

Are you ready for a trust fall? Join me in this exercise this week and let's up level together.

How To Stop Blaming Yourself For Your Breakup23 Mar 202100:14:14

How much responsibility do you take for your breakup?

Yep, that's a tough question and probably a bit of a touchy subject. But it's an important one, especially if what you want is to heal from the often uncomfortable and painful experience of transitioning out of a partnership. We sometimes tend to avoid the painful truths of our own part in what went "wrong" because, let's face it, it's so much easier to pass the blame then face the shadows in ourselves. However, when we do this we actually miss a huge opportunity for growth and expansion, as well as healing and forgiveness.

In this week's podcast, I talk about why you SHOULD blame yourself for your breakup. Though it may sound a little off when you first hear it, I talk about how to face the responsibility you have in the end of a partnership and how it can help you actually acknowledge the growth that you've done by just realizing your part in it.

Do you desire to move more smoothly through painful relationship experiences? I invite you to listen in on this weeks episode.

Nadine Lee - How To Deepen Your Sexual Life Force Energy17 Mar 202100:56:42

Is your partner experiencing the best version of you?

Sexuality is more than just…sex. It's an energy that exists in us that can be harnessed as an amazing tool to experience more joy and passion in all aspects of our life. I've been talking lately about the masculine/feminine dynamic and the role they have, especially in our relationships. I've learned a lot and been humbled in my own relationship experiences, and one of the lessons that continues to be more present is that I'm able to show up in my highest for others when I'm feeling safe being fully myself. This includes understanding the shadow, the wounding, and that inner child that can so often cause us to react in ways that don't feel in alignment with who we are inside.

This week I was honored to connect with my friend Nadine Lee in a conversation around the beautiful and sometimes challenging dynamics of knowing ourselves properly in a relationship, and the work it takes to show up in our highest for partner and for ourself. Nadine is a teacher of the feminine tantric arts, feminine embodiment coach & nutritionist, and founder of Tantric Alchemy. We dive in to her work in the tantra space we also talk about the importance of further understanding our sexual energies, not just in the bedroom, but in our life in general.

If you want to hear some amazing wisdom and tips on how to make love to life and get the best from your experiences and relationships, check out this weeks Deep Dive interview with Nadine Lee.

Why Men Will Never Be Enough For Women10 Mar 202100:13:58

Do you think that men are really ever going to be enough for women?

I realize right off the bat that this question might be an immediate trigger for some, but I hope you'll hear me out. There are many different views and understandings on who, or what energies, embody the masculine or the feminine. But there is a natural dynamic between the two, and even though sometimes this dynamic can bring up challenges, it can also be a beautiful opportunity for growth.

In this week's podcast I discuss WHY men not only will never be enough for women, but why that is a good and natural dynamic for relationships to continue to thrive. Love is not about comfort, it's about growth and seeing the opportunities in yourself and your partner to continue expanding.

Are you willing to let your partner be the best version of themselves? Let's tackle this topic together on this week's episode of The Deep Dive.

Kate Northrup - Does Your Nervous System Determine How Wealthy You Can Become?12 Jul 202301:19:50

I believe money is energy, and because of that how we prepare ourselves to receive abundance is as important as how we receive it. My guest this week is Kate Northrup, a best selling author, entrepreneur, and mother, that recently launched her first seven-figure offering and has some really amazing insight on how regulating our nervous system can help us become better vessels to receive.

A Spoken Word Poem Called "Us"03 Mar 202100:06:57

"You asked, how can I know you love me?

How can I trust in us?

I said don't you worry my dear,

I will give you the heavens above,

I wanted to give you the moon,

But you said it was not bright enough,

So I tried to give you the sun,

But you said it was too hot to touch."

This growth journey can sometimes be an intricate dance between emotion and heart, head and reason. It may not make it easy, but it sure does make it exciting. Relationships take a lot of self awareness. Whether you define your own experiences as successful or not, it's hard to deny that they all come packed full of opportunities for growth.

This week I'm sharing another poem. Rather than freestyle this time, I have decided to share a poem that was written and premeditated. One that I think sheds further light on the emotional experience of the relationship, love, and loss, that I have been both challenged and blessed by in the last year.

I believe the title exemplifies the complex nature and the simplicity of love and partnership. I call it "Us".

A Practical Tool For Shifting Your Negative Thoughts24 Feb 202100:13:42

I have an exercise that can help you shift your negative thoughts into positive ones.

Let me start by saying, it's not your fault. We experience so much in this life time that it's hard to not be influenced by the thoughts in our mind that may fall into the negative category. This is because our negative experiences, reflections, or assumptions, can potentially carry a heavier emotional charge than we might be consciously aware of. We have learned to survive from fear and being overly aware of our physical, emotional, and spiritual surroundings so that we can ensure that we have a pleasant and "safe" life experience.

But are these thoughts natural? Or is there a way that we can shift our negative thoughts and see them in a different light, one that might actually be beneficial?

In this weeks episode I decided to actually let you in on an exercise that I've used, not only with my clients but with myself, on how to take negative experiences or thoughts and change them into positive learning experiences that will allow you to change the lens your looking through. I'm a huge stand for practicing self love and authenticity, and changing the way you experience negativity is a great way to start to shift the way you see yourself, others, and the world around you. This is an exercise in becoming more magnetic to the experiences you wish to have in your life.

Grab a pen and pad, and enjoy the episode.

How To Build Chemistry And Maintain Connection - With Dr. Cat Meyer15 Feb 202101:02:29

Do you believe in the "honeymoon phase"?

It's likely that most of us have experienced it on some level; that period at the beginning of a relationship where you feel drunk in love, passionate, and committed to being your best self for your new partner. For some it fades and the intimacy of a relationship begins to involve more compassion, self work, and communication, for some it seems the honeymoon never ends. But, have you ever thought about what is actually happening in the physical body, in the brain and the heart, that causes those feelings? Is there maybe a way to reprogram our own tendencies to allow for more passion and joy as relationships grow?

On this weeks episode of The Deep Dive I'm joined by my good friend Dr. Cat Meyer for a conversation that ended up being about the science of relationship and connection. Dr. Cat is a licensed sex therapist studied in EMDR, energy psychology, yoga, and modern sciences as well as the host of the Eat. Play. Sex. Podcast. She works to bring awareness to the many different aspects of healing, not just the mental or physical and how communication can be a game changer in how and why relationships might succeed or fail.

Do you want to experience more passion, fun, play, and overall freedom to be you in your relationship?

My conversations with Dr. Cat are always insightful and bring up new perspectives that I believe can really benefit the way we see ourselves and our partner in relationship. Whether you are new to it, new in it, or have been with your partner for a while I highly recommend diving in this week with Dr. Cat Meyer and I on this weeks vulnerable and highly informative episode.

Why Self Care Is Important For Your Dreams with Jenna Phillips Ballard10 Feb 202101:09:53

What does it take to really live the life of your dreams?

Everyone has their own definition of the "dream life". For some it's a comfortable life with a couple kids and a loving partner, for some it's a location based dream like living by a beach somewhere warm, for some it's a high paced stimulating life of flash, fame, or fortune. No matter what the dream is, it takes clear intention and often the right amount of effort and energy to accomplish. Whether you're a stay at home mom or an entrepreneur seeking high stakes and high returns, it's common for us to neglect the self care that is often necessary to stay present and manage the stress or different situations that may come up in the process.

On this weeks episode of The Deep Dive I'm joined by my good friend Jenna Phillips Ballard who has taken on an inspiring journey in her life, and is nothing short of a super hero. A former personal trainer for celebrities, Jenna is a proud mother, loving wife, CEO, and entrepreneur, and somehow juggles all of this while putting in the work to create balance as well as the self care she needs to stay in her highest. We talk about her experience juggling motherhood, marriage, and business, her tips for self care when going for a dream, and even the effect that your in-laws might have on your experience of being in partnership or being a parent.

Are you interested in unleveling your practices around self care and experiencing more abundance while accomplishing your goals? I highly recommend listening in on my conversation this week with Jenna Phillips Ballard and getting to know more of her inspiring story, and her next level perspective that has helped me personally to move through difficult times and stay focused on my own path.

Moving On - A Spoken Word Poem03 Feb 202100:05:21

"Part of you desperate to let go, the other part desperately holding on.

In some moments you're dodging a bullet, in others you've made a mistake,

Sometimes you'll smile and it'll be genuine, sometimes you'll know that it's fake.

But the tears are always real, you can tell by the salty taste,

But in order to put your heart back together, you must first allow your heart to break."

This week I decided to share something from my poetry journal. Yes, I have a poetry journal. In this poem I share some of my thoughts and insight about my own experience of the process of moving through one of the hardest things we experience as human beings;

Heartbreak.

There is reconciliation, growth, and redemption available in every experience we encounter. Allowing ourselves to feel is an important step in the process of moving on and into new and higher versions of ourselves. It's not easy, and honestly I don't think it's supposed to be.

But I do believe it's worth it.

Check out the poetic episode "Moving On - A Spoken Word Poem" and I would love to hear what comes up for you.

An Impactful Conversation With My Mom - Featuring Vickey Roa27 Jan 202101:35:50

Are you really aware of the effect your parents had on who you have become?

It seems simple enough. Whether you've always had a good relationship with your parents, a challenging one, or like so many; maybe didn't even get to have a relationship with one or both, most of us will spend a lot of time thinking about how that relationship (or lack thereof) has influenced our life. Negatively or positively, it's pretty hard to avoid carrying a lot with you from what is often the most influential of relationships we have growing up.

But as we grow, shift, and change in our lives shouldn't our relationship with our parents as well? Is it possible to really heal and move on from patterns that are still at play or wounds that have been left unhealed? Or is the safety we may have experienced in a family dynamic holding some of us back from taking risks and chances that might provide new opportunities or a fresh perspective?

Its a big, broad topic and I want to acknowledge that every single family dynamic is unique in its own way and presents different opportunities and challenges. Each member of a family, big or small, is their own unique ingredient in the one of a kind flavor that is family and upbringing.

On this weeks episode of the Deep Dive "An Impactful Conversation With My Mom", I want to let you in on part of my own family dynamic and introduce you to one of the most important people in the world to me. My mother.

The last few weeks have been all about being vulnerable. This week I take it up another notch as I interview my mother Vickey Roa about our dynamic as I grew up, some of our family challenges, and who we are to each other today. Enjoy this special episode, this very special guest, and as always I would love to hear your thoughts.

Freestyle Spoken Word Poetry - All I Can Be Is Me20 Jan 202100:08:32

"What is it about me that needs to know?

Looking for certainty in a world that's so uncertain,

Lurking behind every corner there's something that you can't see,

And yet there's this part of me that feels incomplete,

Or maybe just scared, if I don't know whats out there…."

For this weeks episode of The Deep Dive, I decided to release another freestyle spoken word poem. This piece came from a place of vulnerability and honestly, heart break. It came from a need to be myself in the face of scrutiny, which is maybe a feeling that we all experience at times.

Art is medicine for me, and when I feel like I've done as much as I can to pick myself up and commit to my self love practices, art and creation is where I usually go to next. This style of spoken word poetry is the most vulnerable for me because it's straight from the heart and totally freestyle in the moment. This  allows what's really going on under the surface to come out, and that (in my opinion) is the healing and therapeutic part of any type of artistic expression.

Do you express yourself in an artistic way? My hope is that this poem inspires you to reach in, let it out, and allow the world see the real you however you choose to release.

Why So Many People Struggle With Dating14 Jan 202101:02:46

Do you find dating difficult?

Unless it's that rare "love at first sight" story, dating is an integral process to finding partnership, romance, and ultimately love. There are thousands of books, podcasts, or movies, all stuffed full of advice on dating (not to mention your friends, family, parents) but why when it comes down to it, is finding authentic connection through dating still so hard?

In this weeks podcast I'm joined by Chicago based writer, podcaster, and recording artist Case Kenny in a conversation about the dynamic world of dating and relationships. From the importance of communication to the subject of one night stands, Case and I navigate our thoughts on the whole process based on our own experiences of dating and share in some new perspectives that opened up the topic for us in a brand new way.

If you desire to find the "one", dating and exploration is pretty much inevitable. So, do you want to experience more ease and grace in the process? I hope my conversation with Case Kenny can be beneficial in moving towards more self awareness and in turn, an easier and more enjoyable experience of dating.

What Is A Conscious Relationship?06 Jan 202100:14:15

Are you afraid of being yourself in relationship?

Being aware of who we are is so important in all aspects of our life, and its a journey of discovery. But, it's so important when we're in a relationship. It can be easy to lose ourselves in the idea of what we "should be" when we are trying to please someone else's vision of partnership. We want to love fully, we want to show up for those that we care about, so where do we draw the line between ourselves and the expectation of who we should be?

This week I decided to talk about what it means to be in a conscious relationship. A term that gets thrown around a lot, but has immense value in the effect it can have on romantic partnership.

Are you allowing yourself to be fully seen? Furthermore, are you allowing yourself to really SEE your partner? I believe that both lead to an elevated understanding of what it means to be in relationship, especially a romantic one, and I would love for you to join me in the conversation on this weeks episode of The Deep Dive.

How To Shift Anxiety Into Excitement30 Dec 202000:09:36

What is the difference between anxiety and excitement?

Have you ever noticed that the reaction to both is quite similar? Our heart rate may go up, or our palms may get sweaty, and we definitely start thinking ahead. But where anxiety is mostly recognized as a negative experience, excitement is generally associated with something good coming.

Though they are quite similar feelings in a lot of ways, but they are very different. This is apparent more in the effect it has on the body and the mind, and guess what? It can be shifted.

In this weeks Deep Dive Musing I talk about not only the difference between anxiety and excitement, but how to actually shift your an anxious experience to a positive and exciting one. You guessed it, it all depends on your perspective.

Do you want to take more control in moments of anxiety? Dive in with me in this weeks Deep Dive Musing.

The #1 Way I Moved From Scarcity Mindset to Abundance23 Dec 202000:13:34

Are you creating abundance?

Experiencing abundance in our life comes in many different forms. Abundant relationships, experiences, and even abundance in our wealth dynamics. But are you actively creating it?

It's been interesting to me to notice the little acts of service that actually end up creating abundance in my life. I used to hold so tightly to my money, until I realized that giving to others started creating more wealth in my life. That the feeling of scarcity around my finances or my relationships actually created a wall in front of me that held me back from building more abundance in those areas, and many others.

During this holiday season, especially in this interesting year of 2020, I encourage you to look at the ways you are not only creating abundance, but sharing it with others. It's time for us to realize that giving is receiving. That sharing your experience, your time, your wealth, with others is actually something that pays back in abundance to your own life.

Do you want to create more abundance in your life? Dive in with me this week as we talk about how I personally went from a scarcity mindset to an experience of abundance on this weeks Deep Dive Musing.

3 Key Tips for Dealing With Rejection16 Dec 202000:14:37

Have you felt rejected before?

Rejection comes in many forms, whether it's that job you wanted but didn't make the cut, that audition you had that you didn't land, or that "one that got away" that you'll never forget. That feeling is always hard, and can trigger deeper wounds of not being enough or being unworthy that unless we deal with properly we end up carrying with us.

In my musing this week, I dive in three ways that I've dealt with the feeling of rejection, that you can start even if you're in the midst of it. I also talk about the importance of allowing ourselves to really FEEL, even when the feeling is sometimes unwelcome.

Do you want to move through the feeling of being rejected in a healthier way? Lets talk about it in this weeks musing.

Have you ever thought about the reason why we fall in love?
We all know the feelings and attraction associated with feeling love for another person, but why do we as humans actually desire that connection?

Do you desire to get more out of your experience of a relationship whether its in your past, your present, or your future?

How To Use Compassion For Manifestation09 Dec 202000:16:18

Do you believe in manifestation? Or that the way you show up in the world actually has an effect on your physical reality?

It can be so easy for us to disregard other people's opinions, especially if they hold values or views that you don't agree with. But, what if we changed the way we listen?

In this weeks Musing, I go deep on the effect that compassion, and especially compassionate conversation, can have on your ability to manifest and create your reality. If we choose to listen to understand, not to respond, we open ourselves up to a new world of possibilities that ultimately help to shape the way you see the world, in turn effecting the reality you live in.

Manifesting anything is a deep process, with many layers and ingredients. Find out why compassion is an important one in this weeks episode of the Deep Dive.

Matt Belair: Navigating the Age of Misinformation07 Dec 202001:13:28

What is it like to be blacklisted? With the amount of opinions, beliefs, and clashing ideals in our culture right now it can be pretty hard to know what to believe and what sources of information are reliable. It's never been more important to know where we are getting our facts, and to be vigilant on ensuring that we are pursuing truth. But what happens when your pursuit of truth actually gets you flagged, blocked, and even blacklisted?
In this episode Adam is joined by author, coach, thought leader, and podcast host Matt Belair, as they dive deep into the experience and pursuit of truth that ultimately had his podcast flagged as well as blocked from most social media platforms. The conversation varies as they move through different topics, but connects with the common theme of the state of our culture in 2020 and what effect the misuse of media and information is having. What defines a conspiracy theory these days? And what are the tangible take aways from what someone like Matt Belair has gone through that allows him to come back to a place of compassion? Freestyle Spoken Word Poetry: Hey Spirit, Are You There?02 Dec 202000:09:54
"I hope you are there I hope that you care All the books tell me you do But sometimes I feel like that's not true I feel like I'm alone I feel like I'm picking up that cosmic phone And no one is there"   In this episode of the Deep Dive podcast, for the first time ever, I share a piece of freestyle spoken word poetry. When recording, I dropped into a creative space and allowed the words to free flow out. What emerged was a poetic spiritual prayer.   I would love to know your thoughts on this spoken word poetry. 2 Common Relationship Myths Debunked30 Nov 202000:23:38

If you experience conflict with your partner, it means something is wrong, right? But did you know for every five positive interactions, you need to have one negative interaction? This has been shown to be a minimum requirement for a successful, happy relationship.

And when you have conflict, do you believe you need to fix the problem? But did you know 69% of problems don't actually get resolved? In long-term relationships, these problems go unsolved because they are based on the differences in who they are as a person.

Believing there shouldn't be any conflict in your relationship, and if there is conflict you need to solve it, are two of the most common relationship myths. And in this Deep Dive Musing, I debunk them both, as well as provide you with a clear understanding as to why they are myths and how to actually navigate through the two to ensure your relationship thrives.

The 5D Journey of Artistic Transformation25 Nov 202000:13:59
I believe art is a technology. And when we create art, it becomes a catalyst for our own evolution and growth. The process of creating forces us to face off with so much of ourselves, from our fears, our doubts, and our limitations. But this face-off presents us with two choices: Do we work through what we're facing or do we allow it to stop us?   In this Deep Dive Musing, I've broken down the artistic process into the five D's you must venture through in order to not only emerge with art but also emerge as a higher more expanded version of who we're here to be. Ultimately, I describe how sticking to the process can become a personal development time capsule and how this process has gown through me when creating my latest single, Chase Me.    Before tuning in, I highly recommend checking out my song, Chase Me, first to give you more context as to what I'm discussing in this Deep Dive musing. We all are climbing the mountain we think that will make us the happiest. But how do ensure we don't get to the top of our "summit" and realize we aren't fulfilled? How do we ensure once we get to the top, we feel actually feel the sense of fulfillment we have been working for?   Most of us don't realize how disconnected we are from everything around us, including ourselves. Kevin Orosz - Do Women Want Men To Put Them In Their Place?14 Jun 202301:16:15

Can men and women co-exist in a healthier way?

When we begin to understand the feminine and masculine dynamics in ourselves, we start to see ways that we've been dropping the ball a bit as a society and a culture. For years, this polarity has been misunderstood and even exploited causing major wounding, and generation trauma. This week, I'm chatting with Kevin O, an intimacy coach and thought leader in the relationships space who has views that some might see as triggering, until you really understand the message beneath.

Determining Your Attachment Style and How to Shift It18 Nov 202000:23:08
There is this idea that attachment is bad and we should let all our attachment go. But in reality, attachment is extremely important. We are designed to get attached to things for our own survival. Is Your Attachment Taking Up Your Energetic Bandwidth?09 Nov 202000:16:39
Let's chat about attachment and the effect it has on our energetic bandwidth. There is a level of romanticism around being so in love with someone that you will hold on through thick or thin, no matter what. It's a beautiful Hollywood narrative, however it creates unrealistic expectations for what we are supposed to do when we are in love with someone.   To be honest with you, I used to think holding on no matter what was the healthy thing to do in a relationship. Now, I've learned that holding on to something that once was, prevented me from receiving what I was trying to call into my life. My attachment was taking up my energetic bandwidth and there was no space left for what I actually wanted.   In this Musing of The Deep Dive with me, Adam Roa, I explain why being attached to what was, instead of what is, takes up our energetic bandwidth and what we can actively do to ensure we are creating space for new people and opportunities to enter into our life. Because, if we have the desire for something new to enter, we must create the space for it.   What you'll learn:
  • How your energetic bandwidth works
  • What is stealing your energy and taking up your energetic bandwidth?
  • The effect attachment has on what is/isn't entering into your life
  • Why you need to create space before you can have more
  • How to empty your energetic bandwidth and create more space
  • How you are preventing yourself from experiencing new opportunities

A Simple Practice for Overcoming Fear04 Nov 202000:12:52
We idolize the idea of being fearless. There is this idea that fear is bad and we should do everything we can to avoid it. But the funny thing is, it's unavoidable because fear is the other side of the coin to love. It's always there – it's apart of us.   Fear is the virus and it's already inside us, but it lies dormant as long as we keep letting love guide us. And in each moment, we have the option to live from fear or to live from love.   In this episode of the Deep Dive with me, Adam Roa, I unpack a line of poetry on fear, share my thoughts on living out of fear, and give you an actionable practice for overcoming your fear and leading your life from love.   You'll leave this episode feeling empowered to navigate through your fear to keep letting love guide you.    What You'll Learn:
  • Why fear is always present
  • How to let love, not fear, guide you
  • A simple practice for overcoming your fear

Henry Ammar: How to Listen and Engage with Opposing Views02 Nov 202001:01:37
Why are we so afraid to have different views and opinions than each other? And why do we feel like we need to attack one another for our different perspectives? We are all so different, so of course, we are going to view the world differently. With that in mind, why can't we just have some real conversations to discuss and understand these differences without the need to attack another or defend ourselves?   And to dive deeper, how do we hold space for everyone's beliefs, opinions, viewpoints, and prospectives, and not just our own? How do we fully express ourselves in the world and while simultaneously being aware of how it will make others feel? And where is the line between owning our truth and censoring ourselves for the sake of others?   In this of the Deep Dive with me, Adam Roa, guest Henry Ammar and I dive deep into answering these questions. After listening, I have full faith you will have a better understanding of how to listen and engage with opposing views in a constructive way.   Henry is an International Life Speaker, musician, and Entrepreneur who hosts the podcast, "Making It Happen with Henry Ammar." The podcast hit #1 in the Training Category and #6 in the Education Category on the Apple Podcast Charts. Exploring The Masculine Heart (Are Men Capable of Love?!)28 Oct 202000:17:10
Is it okay for me to go up to a woman I find attractive and tell her she is beautiful? The funny thing is, if she finds me attractive, it's flattering, but if she doesn't, it's sexual harassment.    And why in movies is it romantic when a guy continues to chase after the girl because he believes they are "meant" to be together, but in real life, women think it's "creepy"?   And why are there all these misconceptions when it comes to the masculine heart, like it is unsafe to be the object of a man's sexual desire, a man's sexual desire causes pain, men don't cry and don't have feeling, and men aren't capable of love?   Men are confused. And to be honest, I have been confused! What should we do?    In this episode of the Deep Dive with me, Adam Roa, I dive into the topic of the masculine heart–our sexuality and sensitivity. Let's break down the misconceptions around the masculine heart, understand the masculine perspective on love, and learn to differentiate between honest and harmful intentions.   For a daily dose of the Deep Dive podcast, follow @thedeepdive on Instagram!   And be sure to check out my latest poem, Pandemic
Julia Price: How to Heal and Grow from Childhood Wounds26 Oct 202001:10:07
Are you carrying the wounds of your parents? As children, many of our parents dumped their wounds, baggage, fears, and insecurities onto us, and many of us believe we need to continue to carry this baggage for the rest of our lives.  It has turned into an outlined curriculum or pattern that we continue to follow, yet we place blame, hold grudges, and never take responsibility.    Their baggage may have been passed onto us, but is our responsibility to work through it and turn it into our greatest gifts. But in order to do so, we need to first understand the baggage we are carrying, look at it through the eyes of compassion, and release the blame we are holding onto.   So how do we end this loop of ancestral karmic wounding and finally take ownership of how our lives unfold?   We need to find enough compassion within ourselves to forgive our parents. And in this episode of the Deep Dive, I chat with singer/songwriter Julie Price on her experience working through the wounds she carried from her parents, how she was able to understand the "why" hidden within the wounds, and how she set herself free through forgiveness.   Julia is a Good Morning America featured songwriter who was featured in the NY Times as a "booming creative." She built a personal online presence and community with over 470,000 followers across multiple platforms, including Vine. With a unique skill-set that expands beyond music, she also tours as an international speaker, hosts corporate heart-centered workshops, and consults high-level executives with an emphasis on female-founders, while also specializing in community building, managing campaigns, producing events and panels for start-ups to Fortune 500 Companies. Why I Don't Believe in Destiny21 Oct 202000:13:27
Do you believe everything happens for a reason? Or do you believe everything happens because of the choices you've made?   I bring this thought up in my latest single, Voices, where I say, "Am I choosing this or is this simply destiny?"   What do you believe?   To me, destiny implies that no matter what, you are destined to arrive at a certain point in reality–that you have no control over what happens. But, who determines what's meant to be? And what does that even mean?   In this episode of the Deep Dive with me, Adam Roa, I discuss why I believe we need to get rid of the idea of destiny, fate, and "meant to be", and instead take ownership of our reality.   Ultimately, if you don't believe you create your own reality, then there are aspects of yourself that will never be able to change. And if you do take ownership of your reality, every possibility opens up to you. You can shift anything.   So, which do you choose?   P.S. Be sure to check out the CREATE community here

My 3-Step Process for Forgiveness14 Oct 202000:20:47
Do you believe forgiveness is weak or an act of strength? This is a question I battled when I learned the person I loved most betrayed me. I kept asking myself over and over again, "Do I forgive? And if I do, is that weak, or is that devotion?" The conclusion I came to is that forgiveness is devotion–devotion for myself.    We need to learn to forgive because the pain, jealousy, and resentment we are carrying aren't affecting the person who hurt us–the only person it's affecting is ourselves.    I know arriving at a place of forgiveness isn't easy and that's why in this episode of The Deep Dive Podcast with me, Adam Roa, I share three essential steps that will lead you to forgiveness.    What You'll Learn:
  • Why you need to forgive
  • Why it's important to feel your emotions
  • How to see the situation through a new perspective
  • How to understand and relate to the person who hurt you
  • The next step after you arrive at a place of forgiveness

Making the Most Loving Choice (No Matter How Hurt You Are)07 Oct 202000:14:31
There is no right or wrong when it comes to love, but there is always a more loving choice for us to make. The issue is, how do we know what the most loving choice is? Should we forgive? Should we say no? Should we stand up for our boundaries? The loving choice isn't always clear, especially when you have been deeply hurt, and it definitely isn't always easy to make, so let's talk about it.    In this episode of the Deep Dive podcast with me, Adam Roa, I challenge you to change your perspective on your relationships by asking you this question: How can you show up as love, no matter how others have treated you? I personally desire to live with my heart open, and I know you do, too. So let's make the loving choice.   What you'll learn:
  • Love is unconditional, yet relationships are full of conditions
  • How to search for love in all actions and circumstances
  • Why it's important to actively make the loving choice, no matter how hurt you feel
  • When making the loving choice, you are doing it for you, not for them
