David Lynch passed away yesterday. He was such a great artist and artistic inspiriation. As a tribute we are replaying the show where Dark Mark and L.Faunt discuss his entire filmography with an emphasis on Mark's favorite Lynch Film Lost Highway

Dark Mark discusses one of his favorite movies Lost Highway with multi-media artist/psychic/dancer/comedian/actor/model/cinematographer L. Faunt

Mark and L went down the non-linear rabbit hole that is Lynch's notorious 1997 film to talk about:

The entire Lynch filmography and the irony that his next feature after this was a G rated family film for DIsney

The awesome but now outdated 90s technology (including massive cellular phones) that makes this already a period piece

How the GenY and Millennial crowd at the screening they attended responded to all the sex and nudity

Whatever happened to Balthazar Getty?

Why was this movie nor released on DVD in the USA for over 10 years?

How the OJ Simpson trial inspired the story, and the irony that the next big celebrity murder trial was Robert Blake, who was already super creepy in the movie

The soundtrack curated by Trent Reznor which generated some of the best music by Smashing Pumpkins and Marilyn Manson, contained one of David Bowie's best songs and introduced Rammstein to the world

How this movie may have been made to dis other filmmakers like Quentin Tarantino and Oliver Stone

All of this and so many theories and analyses on this show...your head will spin...

Adult film star, escort and wine connoisseur Kacy TGirl kicked off the first Dark Mark Show of 2023 with style as she regaled Mark and Nicole with stories of how serious adult film stars take the AVN and XBIZ awards, the wild parties that happen at the Trans Erotica Awards which led her to answer Nicole’s questions about how to get into a 5some (!). She went over unusual requests she gets from clients and the very few things she won’t do as well as the frustration of men who are willing but may have erection problems. What she will do is go shopping and let men dress her up as well as star in adult films where she has engaged in some of the freakiest, most unusual, technically hetersosexual sex with F to M transexuals including mutual friend of the show Eddie Wood. We hear about the connection between pleasure and pain and Mark even gets to teach the girls a thing or 2. Kacy is breaking into the mainstream and now has a wine show on YouTube and shares some wine fun facts though she ends the show with a suitably fun and filthy story.

It is the one year Anniversary of the reboot of the Dark Mark Show and Mark and Hannah celebrated with quite a wild show featuring legendary scream queen Deborah Dutch, sideshow madman Dangerous D. and sword swallower Cyrus Pynn

Deborah talked about how a cheerleading accident led to her not pursuing a life as a ballerina (though she still can do the splits as she demonstrated), having her grandmother’s friend Agnes Moorhead of Bewitched fame see her in a high school play, how dating a soft rock star (and smoking weed with a Beatle) led to her relocating to LA, where she got the lead in Bruce Lee Fights Back from the Grave. She did her own stunts and was dubbed badly in that movie and moved on from there to share the screen with Goldie Hawn, be in Miami Vice, and work with Roger Corman and get dubbed an official “Scream Queen” in the 90s. She is now working on her own sword wielding series of films “Hollywood Warrioress”

Dangerous D may be married and has a newborn son, but he is by no means any less outrageous. He claims to swing his son from his ears, offered to give Mark a tattoo on the air. He also talked about his journey from Baltimore where he hit LA with $100 to his name, how he got on Ozzfest, what it takes to impress him and land a spot on his “Shock Show” troupe of performers and why he is producing Cyrus’ one man show as a one-time only performance.

Cyrus is also known as Cydeshow Cy and Cyrus the sword. debuting his show “Down The Hatch” in February in Los Angeles. He started juggling, fire eating, sword swallowing and doing all sorts of sideshow acts in Virginia and came out to audition for Dangerous D during a performance at Ozzfest and ended up moving in with him. He talks about all that can go wrong if you make a mistake and demonstrated swallowing 2 swords and eating a lightbulb.

After 10 years of outrageously hilarious shows The Dark Mark Show comes to an end with a bang as Mark and Nicole threw a holiday special like you've never seen before with contortionist/burlesque dancer/cosplayer Sin Twisted and Santa Claus.
Sin talked about how Andy Dick once tried to bum rush her while she was onstage inside an R2D2 shell, talked about her experience with swingers' clubs and how erotic a pool game can get. How having a steady partner does not inhibit her from having a wild sex life and she teased Santa with her beautiful feet which led Santa to give her a foot massage and have fun between her splayed toes. Sin also brought out her pet python Noodles and let Nicole and Santa pet him as she described the care that goes into a snake and how she was able to do a From Dusk Til Dawn inspired dance during the pandemic.
Santa may have had too much Fireball whisky, but he talked about how he has lost 70 lbs in the last year, how he is never invited to elf orgies, how wild his sex life may or may not have been before he met Mrs. Claus, how aroused he gets from the mothers who bring their children to see him at the mall and he had gifts for Sin and Nicole who sat on his lap (but not Mark, he must have been naughty this year)
This is the last Dark Mark Show ever it seems (a declaration Mark made in 2015 as well).
Sending a big thank you to everyone who ever watched and listened. Mark will be back in 2024 with something completely different. Stay tuned.

Holiday cheer (and vegan Egg Nog laced with Fireball Whisky) was in the air as Mark and Nicole welcomed Elisa Jordana and Santa Claus to a fast paced and fun holiday party.

Elisa was engaging with her fans on Livestream while the show was going on and her fans were typically unpredictable. She cleared up previous claims that she was asexual and detailed how she fell for Gabe Saporta the lead singer of Cobra Starship and ended up as the keytar player so she could be in front. She met Benjy Bronk on jdate and ended up joining him on The Howard Stern Show writing staff. She then was engaged to Andy Dick despite never having slept with him and his being flamboyantly and unapologetically gay. She talks all about these relationships, her beef with Stuttering John Melendez, getting hacked by her IRL fans, making over men and how she deals with friends and lovers talking bad about her on podcasts, her own show Kermit and Friends and much more.

Santa had to deal with Elisa’s friends calling him a “pedo”, doubting his validity and ethnicity as well as having bible verses thrown at him. He dealt with them with his usual charm and grace, talked about his beef with the Easter Bunny, having magical “keys” to everyone’s house, how creepy it is that he knows when you are sleeping and determined whether Elisa and Nicole were naughty or nice.

Domina Mara and Santa Claus joined Mark and Nicole to enjoy some spiked egg nog and celebrate the holidays

Mara talked about growing up in the "heart of California" as a Spanish/Filipino/Chinese mix and becoming a sought after dominatrix. She goes into detail about how men worship her feet to the point that they will purchase her toenails and "foot dust", especially the left foot which is apparently smellier and full of pheromones, various requests for her underwear for sale, her collection of sub animals (dogs and cats currently, soon to be added by a horse) how she learned to hypnotize people, turn them into statues, wrap them as cocoons and various tales of genital torture which made Mark double over and moan just hearing them

Santa talked about his challenges with the pandemic, what not to feed reindeer lest they get gassy, his own foot fetish which he described in detail and he had Mara ad Nicole sit on his lap. Have they been naughty or nice? You will have to listen to find out.

Oh and Mara brought out a paddle and spanked Santa very hard...Ho! Ho! Ho!

Mark and Hannah hosted an epic holiday special with comedians Maggi Mayfield and Rotten Kitty and the one and only Santa Claus

Maggi reminisced about travelling cross country as a teenager, her radio career which led her to meet and roam the halls at iheartradio with Rod Stewart and Val Kilmer, how moving from Los Angeles to Austin has led her to get paid more for her stand up comedy and release her first comedy album "Pandemic Girl" and she sang her holiday anthem "The Naughty Christmas Song" live in studio

Kitty talked about chasing unicorns and having fun with rat poison over the pandemic, the proper response when a man asked for a dirty picture over Twitter, explained the dark side of Disney and why the Country Bears need to return to splash mountain and everyone gave their picks for the best and worst Christmas songs

Santa Claus talked about why he is immune to the Coronavirus, that the reindeer won't be wearing masks this year, but how in years past they have been a bit gassy, how he has had to quarantine some elves this year, got red and rosy as the show went on and had gifts for everyone

Mark complimented her acting while bound and having a ball gag in her mouth and she told the story about how she became the first Virtual Reality webcam girl which involves Dungeons and Dragons.

Check out the ultimate in adult interactivity. See the future that Ela was talking about on the show at viro.club

Santa was his usual jolly self, and acknowledged that Ela was the reason for the demand in VR helmets this year. He talked about his foot fetish in great detail and acknowledged Christmas' pagan roots. He also had gifts for Ela and cohost Hannah who called in and got a little naughty when Ela was seated on his lap.

Mark and Josi celebrated the holidays with adult film superstar Cindy Starfall and the man himself Santa Claus. Cindy talked about growing up rich in Vietnam, how she discovered the joys of a shower head at age 11 which led her Nannys to be befuddled at her hour long showers, how she used to hike up her skirts while being the only Asian student in a Catholic school in Oregon, how she likes older men and running her hands in Santa Claus' beard, being busted by a HR directors son while working at a corporate job and doing webcams on the side, how she broke into the industry by doing African American adult films with such large men as Lexington Steele and how she always is thinking about sex even while in a traffic jam on the Freeway.

Santa talked about how Mrs. Claus is not exactly a spinnerâ€, how Mrs. Claus and him have an understanding and he gets to visit his helpers all over the world, how his least favorite place to slide down the chimney would be Bakersfield, the proper Christmas gift to give the transsexual on your list and how his favorite places would be Las Vegas and Bangkok and how he was just in a commercial for an adult toy company. Of course no holiday special would be complete without Josi and Cindy sitting on Santa's lap, gifts were exchanged by all, and Santa did get a spanking for being naughty.

It's beginning to look a lot like XMas, in that spirit we present our punk rock holiday show from way back in 2013

Eric Leach and Phil George from the punk band Symbol Six and special guest Santa Claus himself were Mark and Josi's guests on this special holidy episode. Eric and Phil talked about founding their band when they were in Junior High inspired by the legendary early 1980s Los Angeles punk scene, how Izzy Stradlin of Guns N Roses was their roadie for free, how women sometimes cause the most violence at shows, how living with Kim Fowley for 6 months can change someone's life and how hearing your song on Rodney on the ROQ can transform an insecure teenager into a virtual Mick Jagger, and previewed their upcoming 2014 album Dirtyland.

Josi was very surprised by the mystery guest, Santa Claus himself! Santa gave his opinion on who was his favorite singer of Black Flag, and how Santa has no tolerance for racists and bigots and is all things to all people. Santa found room on his lap for Josi Kat and Skidrow Studios producer Jeremy and found they were both nice this year so he gave them presents and candy, but you know Josi and her naughty side...she couldn't resist spanking Santa Claus, who returned the favor as well.

ARTivist Jil Love and witchy comedian Renee Watt joined Mark for quite a metaphysical show

Jil talked about the epiphany she had in 2012 which led her to combine her art with activism which has let her to cover herself in blood, oil and recently sitting on a golden toilet on Donald Trump's star on the walk of fame and bloodletting for the children of Yemen. She travelled from her native Spain to Hollywood where she got into a fight with a Transformer in order to promote peace.

Renee talked about her own epiphany 2 years ago which led her to explore her psychic abilities, get into her own spirituality and embrace being a witch and start performing stand up comedy. She talks about starting a coven as a teen and how she took a detour in the punk rock scene in Phoenix.

Oh and Jil and Renee started communicating telepathically during the show, which didn't slow down the terrific stories about their lives

Model and Influencer Romi Chase joined Mark in 2020 for quite a stimulating conversation...

Romi talked about what it was like living in small town Poland, and how she made the transition first to Alabama then to her current home in Miami.

Her pale skin and 53 inch booty were not the beauty norm in Poland or the USA, but Romi has been able to do what a lot of skinny blondes have not and has amassed a huge social media following.

She does have a gripe with Instagram who it seems is biased against bigger women and has banned and shadow banned her for wearing the same outfits as skinny girls.

She also has found out a way to monetize dick pics and has been known to let her huge sexual drive get the best of her, much to the delight of a cameraman on a recent shoot...

It was Dark Mark's Birthday this week and Hannah threw him quite a birthday party. The guests included podcast hosts Dakota the Bearded Lady and Morgan Jaffe, comedian Jamie Gendron and author and former Dark Mark Show co-host Nicole Sixx. Everyone had quite a fun time watching Mark finish off a bottle of cinnamon whisky while they talked about the appeal of older men, why you should never let someone borrow your staple gun, whether it is more fun writing about horror or playing a stabbing victim in a movie, Marilyn Manson causing impotency, fishnet stockings and who had the biggest package: Eddie Murphy, River Phoenix or Jerry Garcia and so much more!

I voted on Halloween which is a tradition of mine because the Democratic and Republican candidates frighten me. In 2020 I interviewed Green Party presidential candidate Howie Hawkins and Libertarian presidential candidate Jo Jorgensen and found them to both be smart, capable and having more good ideas and solutions to the country's problems than the 2 party system offered then and now.
Please vote and consider voting 3rd party. Now more than ever we need more choices and voices.

Mark interviewed Green Party presidential candidate Howie Hawkins and they had an interesting discussion about ballot access for third parties, how Howie was the first candidate to propose a Green New Deal, what he would do to fight the Covid pandemic and how he feels Trump and BIden have let us down in this crisis. He has a plan to eliminate fossil fuels in 10 years, cut military spending and get troops out of the middle east, have Medicare for All and lays out the similarities and differences between himself and Bernie Sanders. Whether you agree or disagree with him, he has a substantive and different point of view which is worth a listen and voting consideration.

Mark got to interview Libertarian candidate for President Jo Jorgensen and asked her tough questions about health care, the coronavirus, climate change, foreign policy, abortion and more. Dr. Jorgensen being a former teacher rapped Mark across the knuckles a couple of time and presented an alternative to the 2 party system as well as a sense of humor.

Tasseographer and historian Rissa Miller returned to The Dark Mark Show in 2023 to regale Mark and Nicole with tales about the hidden history of Halloween

Rissa talked about how the spooky season really started with the oft-mispronounced Samhain and how it was actually turnips at that time that were being carved and how children were given soul cakes instead of candy. She shared the story of "Stingy Jack" and how he outsmarted the devil, which prompted Mark to comment on all the stingy Jacks that he knows. She explains how trick or treating was invented as a way to stop children from rioting, explains how costumes became tradition, congratulates Nicole about her upcoming vegan anniversary and ponders if Mark is actually a werewolf and so much more...

You can book a tarot, smoke or tea leaf reading with Rissa at www.teaandsmoke.com

Lisa Wilcox joined Mark and Nicole to talk about her starring role in Nightmare on Elm Street 4 and 5. She clears up rumors of her being considered for Nightmare 3 and Halloween 4, describes what it is like to have fight scenes with Robert Englund especially in a giant kaleidoscope and MC Escher inspired stairs, dispels rumors of hanky panky on the set and even brings out her own personal nunchucks on the show.

Since Terrifier 3 is a smash hit and massacred even Joker 2 in the box office this week it seems like the perfect time to revisit the show where Art the Clown himself, David Howard Thornton visited the lighter side of the dark side in this classic Dark Mark Show from 2021

David Howard Thornton the man who plays Art The Clown in Terrifier and the upcoming sequel Terrifier 2 joined Hannah Bakk and Mary Zaint of the Vegans Uncensored Podcast for a creepy good time just in time for Halloween

Everyone gave an opinion as to why clowns are scary (or not), Terrifier super fans Hannah and Mary talked about when they saw the movie the first time and what they thought of it, David talked about the challenges of playing a silent character (save for one silent but deadly outtake) how touring as the understudy on touring company of The Grinch helped him perfect his physical skills, how he encountered a bathroom situation as depicted in the movie and had a similar reaction, how medically accurate "that scene" was, how close he was to being the new Jim Carrey, playing the Joker in a Batman fan film and being on the set of Gotham, how much fun it is scaring people at horror conventions, and have some tidbits of the upcoming Terrifier 2, which he describes as Aliens to the first Terrifer's Alien...

Before he starred as Grandpa Munster in Rob Zombie's movie The Munsters Daniel Roebuck was the first zoom guest ever on The Dark Mark Show as the pandemic hit.

This week Mark was under quarantine but the show must go on so with the help of modern technology he interviewed one of the best character actors of the last 30 years Daniel Roebuck

You may not know the name but you have seen Daniel in movies and TV shows like River's Edge, The Fugitive, Final Destination, The Late Shift, The Devil's Rejects, Phantasm V, Matlock, Lost and many many more. He claims to have more credits than even John Carradine and has great stories about Keanu Reeves, Dennis Hopper, Crispin Glover, Tommy Lee Jones, Jay Leno, Joe Pesci, Rob Zombie, Paul Giamatti and Andy Griffith among others.

And did you know Daniel almost played one of the burglars in Home Alone? He sets the record straight on this show.

Beautiful BBW porn star Alexxis Allure joined Mark and Hannah all from their respective bedrooms for a sexy show keeping with social distancing recommendations.

Alexxis grew up in Ocean Beach in San Diego and detailed how she got interested in the goth scene, how she became a webcam girl courtesy of a couple she met on Cragislist, how her fans love her belly and want her to stick things in her bellybutton and weigh herself on camera, her favorite positions, how she keeps her skin and hair looking beautiful, how many men love bigger women but won't admit to anyone (especially their skinny wives) and much more...

Comedians Sarah Halstead and Manu Badenes joined Mark and Nicole for a frequently hilarious and surprisingly deep show

Sarah talked about growing up in Flint Michigan and how Michael Moore damaged that city as much as GM closing their plant, how she was successful in the wine and champagne industry but always yearned to act and make people laugh so she drove cross country and has been in over 90 commercials for everything from Crepe Erase to Astroglide and is a very successful stand up comedian whose comedy special RVs and Cats dropped just as the pandemic hit
Manu is one of Spain's biggest stand up comedians and talked about being a "rock star" just as the first wave of stand up comedy hit the country. He was a successful lawyer but felt the passion for acting and comedy. He got a scholarship to the Stella Adler acting school and left everything behind in Spain to start over in the United States and has now performed comedy in Spanish, Italian and English He gives great advice on acting, music, comedy and life in general.

Sarah was struck by how much Manu looks like one of the Bee Gees which led to some spontaneous sing-alongs...

It was a bittersweet night as Mark and Hannah bid farewell to their beloved producer Morgan but they did so with a party full of music and sparks flying as they welcomed Sin Twisted and Savannah Pope to the lighter side of the dark side

Sin talked about her new devotion to fitness, and detailed the challenges of her ultra flexible body, she recounted a show where she fit into a suitcase, only to have the host at the bar missing his cue and how roomy she had it squeezing into an R2D2 unit, she talked about being a cosplayer who is very popular at conventions without having to resort to gratuitous T& A, and got her metal breasts and grinder out and shot sparks in the studio

Savannah talked about being 5 years sober, there were some contrasting stories about when she met Mark for the first time, being chosen the top Hard Rock performer in the LA Weekly, much to the chagrin of all the rocker boys in town, what it was like collaborating with the guitar player from GayC/DC, her album Atlantis which is available on all streaming platforms, the hustle of being an artist and sang "Kaleidoscope" live in studio

Morgan actually got on mike to talk about her own podcast Burst Your Bubble where she takes beloved pop culture icons and shows how racist, homophobic or otherwise problematic they are. She talked about how much she has been shocked and how much fun she has had working on The Dark Mark Show and let Sin shoot sparks at her, which Mark and Savannah also did.

Look out for Savannah Pope's new album Pandemonium which will be released on streaming and physical media in September 2024

This week is the 20th(!) Anniversary of the release of Alien vs Predator and the date the new Alien movie Alien Romulus is out in theaters. So here is a classic show from 2022 where Mark and Nicole discuss all things Alien vs Predator

This week Mark and Nicole do something different which may lead to a new spinoff podcast, they discuss one of Nicole's favorite movies Alien vs Predator and try to answer these questions and more:
Is AVP a horror movie or an action movie?
Why didn't Sanaa Lathan become a bigger movie star?
Is Paul WS Anderson an underrated director?
How powerful is the Alien acid blood?
How did this movie get rated PG-13 and did it hurt the movie?
Why didn't they answer the question of who would actually win in a fight between Alien vs Predator?

You can order Nicole's new poetry book "Slow Burn" on lulu.com

In memory of our friend Cleve Hall we are rebroadcasting his first appearance on The Dark Mark Show from 2019

Today's fun sized episode is probably the gothiest Dark Mark Show yet as Mark welcomed the "goth Mr. Rogers" Cleve Hall and Rotten Kitty to the lighter side of the dark side

Cleve started as a child making Godzilla suits which led to him appearing and making costumes for Pee-Wee's Big Adventure and has worked on such films and TV shows as ReAnimator, Troll, Yo Gabba Gabba and the upcoming Jay and Silent Bob Reboot as well as working with musicians such as Devo, KISS, Alice Cooper and Insane Clown Posse. He talks about his own reality show Monster Man and what was actually real and what wasn't, explains why you should always name your hearse, why practical effects are better than CGI and what it's like living next to a graveyard.

Kitty cleared misconceptions up in that she has performed at burlesque shows, but not as a dancer, as an MC only. She waxed nostalgic for her days as a child star and the ever dwindling residual checks she would receive. She recalled a particularly bloody modelling session and how much she enjoyed the original Clash of The Titans, Harry Hamlin's hair and the mechanical owl notwithstanding.

This is one of Mark's favorite episodes, where he got to speak one on one with Terra and, even better, got to hear her sing live.

Singer-Songwriter and YouTube pioneer Terra Naomi joined Mark in studio for some terrific conversation and musical magic

Terra talked about singing as an infant before she could walk, growing up with hippie parents who grew some interesting crops, how her song “Say It’s Possible” went viral and how she was the #1 musical artist on YouTube for a time, how she connects with her fans, how signing with Island Records turned out to be a mistake and a learning experience, how Al Gore inspired her to write the song that would change her life and how she accidentally sent Vice-President Gore a Friendster request, how it felt to sing to 80,000 fans at Wembley Stadium for the Live Earth concert which earned her props from Spinal Tap and Jamie Lee Curtis.

Terra also sings “Machine Age” and “For My Last Number” live in studio

We here at The Dark Mark Show were heartbroken to hear about the passing of Lady Remedy Ann Fetish. As a tribute to her we are replaying the show where she was a guest in 2020.

Dominatrix Lady Remedy Ann Fetish joined Mark and Hannah live from the dungeon at Sanctuary LAX. She talked about how social distancing has affected her business and talked about her kink specialties of flogging, whips and chains, foot worship, trampling, male chastity, cock and ball torture and balloon popping (!)

She even gave Mark an example of verbal domination which made him say a safe word

It's John DiResta's birthday this week and we are proudly presenting his appearance on The Dark Mark Show in 2022

Mark and Nicole welcomed NYPD officer turned sitcom star turned reality TV star John Diresta to the lighter side of the dark side.

John grew up in Queens and did some NYC bonding with Mark. He talked about his days in the homeless division or Uber before there was Uber as he puts it, working as a transit cop which meant phone calls in the middle of the night to identify bodies run over by trains. He was always funny and pursued stand-up comedy with permission from his wife in exchange for conceiving a 3rd child. He talks about how he got a sitcom on UPN entitles DiResta, only to have it follow a slave themed sitcom and be the lowest rated show in prime time. He also signed the worst management deal in the history of show business. He recovered to star in Miss Congeniality with Sandra Bullock, 15 Minutes with Robert DeNiro and How to Lose a Guy in 7 Days with Matthew McConaughey and then went broke. He recovered by restoring lost treasures he found on the streets of his home in North Hollywood and having 3 reality shows with his brother Jimmy DiResta. This only scratches the surface of all the great stories in this hilarious episode

Our friend John Hawkes got an Emmy nomination for HBOs True Detective: Night Country this week. In honor if his well deserved nomination, we are replaying our last studio show before the pandemic where he was on with his bandmate Rodney Eastman and broadcasting legend Bree Walker

It was a star studded show as Academy Award nominated actor John Hawkes, Emmy Award winning newscaster Bree Walker and Saturn Award nominated actor Rodney Eastman joined never nominated for anything Dark Mark in studio

John and Bree bonded over growing up in small town Minnesota. John and Rodney both talked about how star struck they were when Bree came to see them perform and Bree mused about how inspiring their music is. There were some surprisingly positive words spoken about both Charlie Sheen and Shia LeBouf. John talked about hiding out from Jennifer Lawrence and what it was like to act together in Winter's Bone, for which they were both nominated for Oscars. Rodney finally gives us the real reason he had a teardrop tattoo in one scene of Nightmare on Elm Street 3 - Dream Warriors but not in the rest of the film. Bree talks about getting in between Jack Nicholson and Donald Trump and what it was like to party with Andy Warhol in the 70s.

Rodney and John have a new theater show "Rodney and John and The Meaning of Life" and tell how they are qualified to give us that meaning and preview a spoken word piece from that show.

This week we replay one of our best shows, the first one with Nicole Sixx as a permanent cohost with 3 of our favorite people and guests Amazon Eve, Cig Neutron and Rannie Rodil.

Mark and new cohost Nicole Sixx were quite surprised when Amazon Eve burst into Skidrow Studios wearing green makeup courtesy of Cig Neutron and Rannie Rodil and started playfully attacking and choking Mark to start the show.

Amazon Eve talked about how she was inspired by the burlesque scene while filming American Horror Story in New Orleans, How Michael Chiklis taught her how to do a fight scene, her bionic body parts, and why the term transgender is too limiting to describe her.

Cig talked about getting 2nd place on the show Face Off, how he and his girlfriend Rannie collaborate on their creative cosplays, how the time Rannie cosplayed as Cig may have inspired some self love, how his fellow Face Off finalist Drew Talbot moved to Los Angeles and ended up living with Cig and Rannie in a home which apparently has Jeff Goldblum’s hand on display.

Cig, Rannie and Drew made Amazon Eve up like a certain comic book character and Amazon Eve and Dark Mark had a furious wrestling rematch for which Cig, Nicole and Rannie did their best commentating between laughter.

It was multi-media artist/psychic/dancer/comedian/actor/model/cinematographer L. Faunt so in celebration of her birthday here is a Dark Mark Show classic from 2022 where they and Dark Mark talk about one of their favorite movies, Lost Highway

Stitched Up Heart bass player Randy Mathias and actor/comedian Rosalee Mayeux joined Mark and Nicole for a fast and funny show

Randy has known Mark and Nicole for a long time through the LA Goth scene and talks about his journey from forming bands with former members of Marilyn Manson and Dead Kennedys, to his being in legendary goth band London After Midnight (where he ran onstage in Germany in a thong) to joining Stitched Up Heart and going from touring in a cramped van, to playing barns in Louisiana, to playing on cruise ships, opening for Godsmack and Steel Panther to performing in festivals worldwide (including a recent one where due to weather they headlined in lieu of Guns N Roses). He explains how COVID affected a plan push for the band and stranded him in England for a time and how there is new Stitched Up Heart music on the way and 2023 will be a big year for the band

Rosalee grew up in a small town in Louisiana and then became a very successful fashion model in Paris.  She was fired by Versace in a most unusual way which led to her being the most successful "mom" in advertising, filming over 300 commercials and working with stars such as Leslie Nielsen, Shirley MacLaine and Bill Murray, with whom Rosalee found herself trapped in a closet with. She also talks about starring in the cult movie The Lawnmower Man, and how she found herself again in stand-up comedy where she can tame even the rowdiest and dirtiest crowds in LA and beyond with her sharp wit and stage presence.

10 years ago, a Dark Mark Classic episode featured Adult superstar Venus Lux and pro dom Orpheus Black who joined Mark and Josi for a wild show.

Venus talked about being a 4 time AVN nominee, but being a winner of the Tranni awards, what separates her from the other transexuals in porn, how she narrowly escaped being married to a rich man, showed her amazing breasts, talked about how she is called upon to dominate men but secretly desires to be choked and have her hair pulled.

Orpheus obliged with the choking and talked about being featured in the web series League of Steam, said some surprising things about strap on, gave some lessons in climax control and gave a fire play demonstration with Josi who filled in last minute.

10 (!) years ago today former WWE NXT Diva Skyler Moon aka Buggy Nova who was then known as Invexi Li, comedian David Burger and Scone from the internet show Pinkgirl & Scone joined Mark and Josi for a battle royal of a show.

Invexi talked about changing her name from her independent wrestling name of Buggy Nova, which was changed to Skyler Moon when she was in WWE, though she did not explain the new moniker. She talked about being featured and highly rated on wikifeet.com, how independent wrestlers are cattier than in WWE, how wrestling fans can be sometimes odder than porn fans, and how she is transitioning into an acting career which includes playing the super villain "Iron Maiden" in the web series Pinkgirl & Scone.

David talked about the exclusivity of having his name on the Comedy Store wall, what it was like growing up as an "Aryan" looking jewish guy in Pacoima, how he likes symmetrical feet though doesn't feel men should wear flip flops, how the show I'm Burger has evolved to the point of having a trivia contest where the loser gets shocked with a shock collar

Scone wore a wrestling mask for the entire show and described his superpower, which was the power of being stale, and his super English accent came in and out of conversation.

Oh...and Mark leg wrestled Invexi with hilarious and controversial results...

After just over 2 years and counting, Dark Mark's weight loss journey continues. He is now down 85 lbs and 10 inches in the waist. How did he do it and how is he sustaining it? It's because he was coached by bodybuilder, nutritionist, personal trainer and coach Paige Sandgren who was on the show in 2022 to tell you how you too can get Food Freedom and talk about her extraordinary life...

Paige grew up on the beaches of Michigan (really) and she talked about some fad diets she tried when she gained weight in college (Mark and Nicole also talked about their previous diet failures). She then started weightlifting and is now competing in the bodybuilding category as well as helping people with her Food Freedom program. This diet and exercise program was designed and produced while she was moonlighting in a lab and has helped Mark lose 4 waist sizes in less than 9 months. She tells the story of how she got her social media handle of @beefnuggette, talks about the reaction she gets on the street, has some laughs debunking fad diets and even recites her poem "White"

You can get a coaching consultation, follow Paige on social media or buy her something on her Amazon wish list (you might be surprised what is on there) here

Tommy Chong is turning 86 (!) today. Mark and Nicole had the honor of speaking to the comedy legend and hero twice. Here is the first time we spoke to Tommy in 2021

Legendary comedian Tommy Chong joined Mark and Nicole for an epic supersized show.

Chong talked about everything from his being a clubowner in the 60s, being on Motown Records and discovering the Jackson Five and performing with Ike and Tina Turner and Diana Ross, discovering improv comedy and meeting Cheech, how his classic "Dave" routine was actually a happy accident, Why they turned down Stripes and a Friday the 13th movie as well as a TV show which became Chico and the Man. He explains why he wasn't on Born in East LA, doesn't spoke as much weed as you think and even bonded with Nicole over their jail experiences...or as he put it a "time out".
He also describes how CBD saved his life and so much more..

10 years (!) ago this week David J. and Sasha Grey were Mark and Josi's superstar guests for a great show.

David talked about being one of the creaters of goth, how Bauhaus was influenced by dub and funk, how he wrote the lyrics to Bela Lugosi's Dead, how he just found out Love and Rockets was founded on a lie his bandmates told him, how Peter Murphy thinks of himself as Mr. Moonlight, even though David sang the song, how Love and Rockets listened to Britney Spears secretly backstage and played songs from his new solo album "An Eclipse of Ships"

Sasha talked about how she used a few months of research to conquer to adult film industry in 3 short years, how she went from having a UHaul break down on the freeway to getting answering machine messages from acadamy award winning director Steven Soderbergh, how her erotic novel "The Juliette Society" is the first of a planned trilogy of books and possibly films, finally gave her story regarding the controversy about her reading to children in Compton, how she had no one to help her peel spray on latex as she starred in David's video to Toxic and she slow danced with Mark AND Josi to David J.s song "Hot Sheet Hotel"

Rockstar Cheri Rockafella and comedian Brandon Black joined Mark and Nicole for one of the wildest shows we've had in a while...

Cheri made sure to clarify that she came up with the Rockafella name way before Jay Z, She started singing in her native Houston and sings one of her first songs "Punk Slut" on air. She made her way to the Sunset Strip in the 80s where she was cut out of a Ratt video for not having "Banana Tits" and dated Steven Adler from Guns N Roses. She then became a world champion clown and has plenty of clown and mime stories. She is back in LA and just released her first album "Fun Box" which is a mix of rock, blues, industrial and rap.

Brandon talked about growing up in South Central Los Angeles (he knew the guy who pulled Reginald Denny out of his truck. His father has been in prison most of his adult life, but he has overcome his obstacles by founding a clothing company (Nicole really liked his Black Rose hat) and by doing stand up comedy which has led him to have comedy specials with Revolt TV and Comedy Cube.He also recently saw Dave Chapelle at the Hollywood Bowl (but not THAT show) and seeing Chris Rock on the long walk to his parking spot.

He also talks about liking feet on a woman and Googled Banana Tits with surprising results!

Singer and Influencer Ayoka shocked the world with her apocalyptic Tweets about the solar eclipse then murdering her boyfriend and one of her children (another child having miraculously survived) and then killing herself.

You can read more about it here:

Who Was Ayoka? Astrology Influencer Suspected of Gruesome Killings (newsweek.com)

It turns out Ayoka was on The Dark Mark Show in 2019 for a much more lighthearted conversation.

Ayoka was brought up as an orphan in Maryland (despite what some bios of hers will tell you) and has a genius IQ, operatic vocal range and can play several musical instruments. In fact her piano teacher was so impressed, they encouraged her to be a singer. She refuses to use AutoTune and has put out the 2020 album Venus which features both male and female hands embracing her tattooed back and the 2021 song Weekend, whose lyrics really amused Mark. She also indulged her nerdy side, was very frank about her polyamorous sexuality and gave Mark and Nicole some advice based on the energy she was picking up on Zoom

Mark and Hannah celebrated the 5th Anniversary of The Dark Mark Show with a magical show as they welcomed 80s teen dream girl Diane Franklin and magician Michael Vile to the lighter side of the dark side.

Diane had so many stories about her roles in Better off Dead (including stories about the notorious Dan Schneider), Last American Virgin, Amityville Horror II and Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure, auditioning for Amadeus, Flashdance and John Hughes, being around young stars such as John Cusack, Keanu Reeves and Bill Paxton, having a successful marriage for over 30 years, and her comeback which includes a new Amityville Horror movie and possibly a role in Bill and Ted 3(!). Diane was also amazed by the magic of Michael Vile, who ate fire, conjured a live dove out of thin air, and regaled everyone with how he used Last American Virgin as inspiration for losing his own virginity…

The Dark Mark Show got in touch with its inner nerd as Mark and Hannah welcomed Julia Montgomery who played Betty Childs in Revenge of the Nerds and actor/cosplayer Brett Gustafson to the lighter side of the dark side.
Julia recounted growing up in New Jersey where she was a teenage model and acted in high school alongside classmate Jason Alexander quite a bit. She made some forgetful films before her big break in Revenge of the Nerds. She talked all about auditioning for the movie, the chaotic and sexually charged atmosphere on the set, how director Jeff Kanew’s encouragement of improvisation made the movie the classic that it is today, some surprising tension with Robert Carradine and really surprising revelations about Curtis Armstrong aka Booger. She also tackles the movie’s sketchy morality in today’s time, what 80s conventions are like, the Nerd sequels and what it is like to work with Sylvester Stallone and Ed Harris and so much more.
Brett came dressed as a nerd as only he can, discussed meeting Hannah for the first time when he first got to Hollywood, talked about getting a commercial where they only used his hands, how his training as a mime came in handy, and had a great story about being accosted at an Anime convention while dressed as the cartoon character Doug.
Stand-up comedian Jamie Gendron also called in to tell Julia what an inspiration she was to her. What a nerd!

It is tasseographer, journalist and historian Rissa Miller's birthday this week so we present this classic Dark Mark Show from 2022 where Mark and Nicole first talked to her and she became one of their favorite people and guests.

Rissa grew up in York, Pennsylvania and was fascinated by the vintage architecture and the ghosts within, after studying screenwriting at NYU then photojournalism at Western Kentucky (experiencing the culture shock of being a goth in the deep South) she quickly became an editor of The Baltimore Sun and the then Vegetarian Journal, which is now the Vegan Journal. She describes the struggles of being a vegan in the 90s (wait until you hear what she poured on her corn flakes) and how things have changed. She also does tarot card readings, witchy get togethers, ghost tours for humans and animals and is starting to become a horror host. A published poet as well, she reads her poem "Enchantress" on air.

She read Mark's tea leaves and found, among other things, bats (go figure) and something she has never seen in a teacup before

You can book a tarot, smoke or tea leaf reading with Rissa at www.teaandsmoke.com

Beth Lapides as a new home for her legendary alternative comedy show Uncabaret and Savannah Pope has released a new single Melancholic Goddess so in that spirit here is a classic Dark Mark Show featuring them both from 2019

It was a fun sized show this week as Mark and Hannah welcomed the queen of Alternative Comedy Beth Lapides and powerhouse singer/songwriter Savannah Pope to the lighter side of the dark side.

Beth just celebrated the 25th Anniversary of her show Uncabaret with a star studded show featuring Bob Odenkirk, Sandra Bernhard, Patton Oswalt, Maria Bamford and more. She recounted insisting that Scott Thompson of Kids in the Hall not perform in drag, how Julia Sweeney now regrets her hit character Pat from SNL, how she felt when she saw her comedy nemesis Andrew Dice Clay in A Star Is Born and she had to remind Mark that the Fabulous Mrs Maisel was a fantasy. She also talked about The Rockwell in Los Feliz which is where Uncabaret is now on a monthly basis.

Savannah talked about growing up with show business parents (who apparently had jokes about editors) her music video Creature which was chosen as one of the top 20 videos of 2018 by Yahoo, directing her latest video Rock and Roll No More while laying in a coffin in the rain and sang her song Freeway live in studio

Melrose Larry Green, Sin Fisted and Nik Sin joined Mark and Josi for a wild classic Dark Mark Show from 2014

Melrose talked about being an accountant to such stars as Andrew Dice Clay and a Hollywood tour guide. He said he finds it a huge compliment when Howard Stern plays "cookoo" sounds when he talks, inferred that Mark was gay a few times, talked about his experience with the fetish and S&M scene and how that scene is OK with him, how he deals with Howard Stern groupies and got tied up in a straightjacket, which he found surprisingly comfortable, gagged with a bra and spanked by Josi and Sin.

Sin talked about how she recently won "most fascinating foot model" how she is running an internet campaign to get breast implants, how she teaches women how to lap dance, promoted her upcoming burlesque performance where she will be performing as Marilyn Manson, oh, and shot sparks of her crotch with her grinder.

Nik was in town shooting a movie and Josi insisted he sit on her lap, talked about his own performances as mini-Marilyn Manson and Ace Frehley in a mini-Kiss band, how he doesn't mind fulfilling women's little person fetishes and regaled everyone with the worst lap dance story ever (it involves vomit).

Academy Award nominee and star of the new HBO show True Detective Night Country John Hawkes and horror movie icon Rodney Eastman joined Mark and Hannah for some spirited conversation and music in this classic Dark Mark Show from 2019.

John is someone who has been in so many big movies, but says he can walk the street and go unnoticed much of the time. He describes how he was able to stay awake while acting with Daniel Day-Lewis In Lincoln, what it was like to be nominated for an Oscar for his performance in Winter’s Bone (wait until you hear the freebies he got), how he sacrificed his body to play a man with polio in The Sessions and what it felt like to not be nominated for an Oscar for that performance after everyone thought he was a shoo in, what took the Deadwood movie so long to finally happen, what it was like to be on the set of Northern Exposure when he was starting out, the preconceptions of being an actor who also sings and so much more

Rodney is known for A Nightmare on Elm Street 3 and 4 as well as the remake of I Spit on your Grave. He talked about getting the script for I Spit on your Grave with a different title and the depths he went to to play such a despicable character. He was a heavy metal loving teenager living in East LA when being an extra in an Afterschool Special led to being one of the Dream Warriors. He recounts his crush on Patricia Arquette, how cool Laurence Fishburne was, how he passed out while being tongue tied by Freddy Kruger and being a teen heartthrob, so much so that he was named one of the most eligible bachelors in Hollywood,
Rodney and John also sang 2 songs acoustically, one from an upcoming musical play they wrote with someone named Wham-O (!)
