T he co-hosts have a chance to chat with the journalist Kim Kelly, author of the book Fight Like Hell and the upcoming book Fight To Win, about how labor movements provide a way to build a society based on trust, where disinformation doesn't have a chance to flourish. They also ask her what killer metal records have been coming out lately. 

The co-hosts are rounding out the journey through showing how 
climate change disinformation has led us to where we are now. They 
discuss the second Trump administration, and how it has, through 
DOGE and its own actions, buried information on climate change in 
order to benefit the American kleptocracy. They discuss the details of 
grants and other funding from the federal government that would aid 
research and infrastructure investments to help dull the effects of 
climate change on vulnerable people.

The co-hosts continue their series on climate change, this time discussing both the mechanics of damaged caused by climate change and the escalation of disinformation in the 1970's and 1980's. Perry Como comes up, but nothing about climate change is a magic moment. Sophia loses her mind thinking about the reproductive habits of the eastern cottontail.  The co-hosts talk about how the 1960's had such bad air quality that parts of 1965 were compared to the days after 9/11 in New York. They also learned that that year was just awful in general, and may rival 2020 and 2025 for sheer audacity in being a bad and uncertain time to live. The recurring villain makes a return trip because how could the American Petroleum Institute leave anything good and decent alone? The co-hosts learn what the PSAC is and that it sounds dirty. 

 The hosts open the discussion on climate change. They talk about how the potentials for climate change were discovered in the 1800's, and how it was identified to be happening in the early 1900's. They go on to discuss how disinformation started very quickly, funded by the petroleum industry. The AI co-host finally reveals his secret identity: Davin DuBois. That shouldn't mean anything to you, as he's just a guy, but he's a cool guy and a smart guy, and we love him, so we hope the audience appreciates the reveal, and getting to know him better. 

 The co-hosts chat with journalist Laura Jedeed about the story of Kash Patel, how he got where he is, and more importantly, what he intends to do with power if confirmed.  The co-hosts chat with journalist Laura Jedeed about the story of Roy Cohn, in order to show the parallels between his life and Kash Patel's. The discussion centers around his role in McCarthyism, as a lawyer for Trump, and why his life was so consequential, despite him being a corrupt and inept jerk.  The co-hosts chat it up with Taylor Lorenz, in an interview that spends a lot of time talking about another interview: the one that she did with Chaya Raichik, the woman behind the account Libs of Tiktok, who used her platform to build massive harassment campaigns against queer people and their medical providers. They talk about how GamerGate laid the foundations for the current "Groomer Panic," and Taylor gives some sage and sobering advice for dealing with malicious people. They also talk about which Christmas movie characters could use plastic surgery. 

 Sophia continues the story of how GamerGate set the stage for a lot of modern events, including the Groomer Panic, where people blamed the existence of queer youth on queer adults. The group talks about how this was spread largely by people like Chaya Raichik, who used her Twitter page, Libs of Tiktok, to spread mass panic across the conservative media ecosystem, and thereby people all over the world that share the ideology. 

 Sophia continues the story of how GamerGate gamed our collective understanding of reality, this time through how PizzaGate spawned QAnon. The group gives a light intro to the conspiracy theory, and how it spread through MLM mom's and a weird story about furniture. Andrew gets Q-pilled and becomes a crab rangooner. Javier is replaced with a potentially sentient AI. The group talks about the scariest and funniest consequences of the 2024 nightmare election. Some overarching themes are introduced. 

 Sophia continues the story of how GamerGate gamed our collective understanding of reality. Sophia resents that Mike Cernovich is a main character of anything, but the episode has a lot of content about him and his unambiguously pro-violence blog.
