To begin his journey, he must first steal the Declaration of Independence.

SPECIAL: Welcome to another special episode of Cinedicate as we countdown to Halloween. This week, the hosts of the Grindhouse Girls Podcast return to discuss the film that sets out to deconstruct the horror genre as we know it. Today, we are talking about the 2012 film, The Cabin in the Woods.

Join us as we fuel up our RV and take a trip to our uncle's old creepy cabin with our closest friends. The film centers around a group of characters that you would find in a typical '80s slasher flick: a jock, a stoner, an intellect, the promiscuous one, and of course the final girl. Little does this group know that they are walking into a specially designed trap dating back thousands of years to be the sacrificial lambs to keep the "Ancient Ones" satisfied. However, things don't go as smoothly as planned for all parties involved. So let's hit the purge button and see what horrors await us in The Cabin in the Woods.
