#22 - Alison Armstrong - The #1 Relationship Truth Women & Men Get Wrong25 Aug 202501:08:15

Send us a text

What if everything you thought you knew about men, women and connection was just the tip of the iceberg?

In this episode of The Bliss Republic Podcast, I sit down with Alison Armstrong from Colorado, USA - the renowned author of "The Queen's Code," to unravel the often-misunderstood dynamics between the sexes. Ever wonder why men pull away, or why women are drawn to certain relationships? What does it really mean when men value innocence, or why is vulnerability such a superpower?

Alison Armstrong is a sought-after speaker and bestselling author best known for her books The Queen’s Code and Keys to the Kingdom. Starting in 1991, she devoted her career to researching what brings out the best and worst in men - an inquiry which naturally expanded into understanding women and the intricate connections between the two. Alison’s teachings have positively impacted millions of people, helping them build stronger families, more loving relationships, and more productive organisations.

Alison shares surprising science (did you know sperm team up for the ultimate relay race?) and unpacks the emotional energy behind simple words like "sorry." You'll find yourself questioning assumptions, rethinking your own approach to intimacy, and -if you’ve ever been confused by the opposite sex - feeling seen and inspired.

Alison clarifies common misconceptions about men's and women's needs regarding sex, emphasising the difference between sexual attraction, emotional connection, and fulfilment in relationships.

She gives insight into the womb healing journey and how we can allow ourselves to heal intimate trauma. Every womb gate activates a part in the womb to ultimately reach ecstasy. Amanda explains the importance of longing, oneness between female and male energies and why a woman needs to remember who she truly is.

#20 Hannah Haller - Why I've Chosen NOT To Freeze My Eggs06 Jul 202500:48:04

Send us a text

In this episode we speak with guest Hannah Haller, renowned yoga teacher, health coach, world traveller exploring an off-grid life in her home in Maui, Hawaii. We connect over the fertility pressure women can perceive in their late 30's and early 40's.

Hannah shares her extraordinary lifestyle, living on a 40 acre farm in a yurt in Hawaii and her days of travelling and the happy struggles before the internet and mobile phones.

But Hannah is much more than the yogi with 500K followers on instagram. Her story is touched by adversity, life's battles with loss, heartbreak and grief. She shares openly and honestly, where she is at in her healing journey and how the loss and grief has changes her perspective on attachment.

Experiencing a miscarriage in her mid 30's, Hannah has taken much comfort in her practice of yoga and exploring her dharma of nurture in other places outside of being a biological mother.

Whilst Hannah is open to becoming a mother, her path does not include egg freezing. She has witnessed a friend undergo a $25000 treatment with years of IVF treatment and no success and would not want this to be her experience.[Disclaimer: this price is stated without any research from our end. Please do your own research to better understand costing, should you be looking into egg freezing]

Considering the conditioning we all underly of creating a "perfect" family in our 20's or 30's - Hannah is not interested in making a pressured decision from this space and has come to a place of peace, where the core ideology is to make whole-hearted decisions instead.

Hannah emphasises the need for community help in motherhood and the network required to raising children, regardless of how independent of a woman one is.

#16 Lara SKN - Everything You Want Is On The Other Side Of Fear01 May 202500:20:44

Send us a text

Welcome Back to The Bliss Republic Podcast!

I'm delighted to share that the Bliss Republic Podcast is quietly entering Season 2!

A lot has happened since the last recording. I started this podcast.

It's over a year ago that my life had fallen apart to the point that I lost my voice. Coming out of a highly ambivalent and thus transformative relationship, I had lost many friends who would not understand or even ask, what happened?

I learned that you cannot be seen, witnessed or understood by those who haven't gone, where you've gone.

Out of necessity, I started the Bliss Republic Podcast.

In a short amount of time, I had been supported by some incredible international speakers, who said out loud what I could not.

It's thanks to my podcast guests and listeners, that I found the strength to walk into the unknown. One foot in front of the other.

These men and women saw me, supported me and asked for nothing in return. They showed me a new world worth living in, all through their mindset and compassion. I'm grateful for the openness and camaraderie I've been shown in this space - for my personal unfolding.

After relocating and undergoing some deep personal healing, I'm excited to share that I will be focussing on a new opportunity in my life, whilst taking the podcast with me! It's a very different energy this time around and I hope to continue with the unbelievable quality of guests I can invite for some unfiltered and raw conversations.

Thank you for you continuous support.
