In this episode Truth talks with Michael Alago – former A&R executive for Elektra and Geffen records, and the guy responsible for signing Metallica, White Zombie, Metal Church, PIL, The Misfits, Flotsam and Jetsam, and more! He also authored an autobiography, “I Am Michael Alago: Breathing Music. Signing Metallica. Beating Death.”   There is a documentary by Drew Stone about him currently streaming on Tubi, YouTube, Amazon Prime, etc. called “Who the F**ck Is That Guy? The Fabulous Journey of Michael Alago.”

The two discuss his love for music, growing up in NYC, how he broke into the music industry – and his 25 year career as an A&R executive,  the differences and changes in New York and the music industry then and now, signing and working with Metallica on the Master of Puppets LP, being present for the early thrash scene, hanging and developing and signing White Zombie, working with Johnny Lydon (Johnny Rotten of the Sex Pistols) and PIL – as well as their infamous riot show, Cyndi Lauper, his photography, becoming sober from drugs and alcohol, overcoming death and HIV, his book and documentary and so much more!

Tim Weisberg is the host and co-creator of Spooky Southcoast, one of the world’s longest-running radio programs on the topic of the paranormal. He also was the last successor to the legendary Art Bell in the original incarnation of Bell’s Midnight in the Desert program and was one of the founders of the Midnight.FM online radio network, where he hosts Midnight Society. In addition to his radio work, Tim also serves as the Paranormal Editor at UltimateUnexplained.com, a website covering the paranormal and true crime. Tim worked as a writer, researcher and producer on the popular paranormal television programs Ghost Stalkers, Ghost Asylum and Haunted Towns. He is also a regular-onscreen commentator on Travel Channel’s Hotel Paranormal and The Weather Channel’s Weird Earth. Tim has also been featured on programs such as Ghost Adventures, My Ghost Story, Most Haunted Towns and MonsterQuest, and in the documentaries The Bridgewater Triangle and Famously Haunted: Amityville. He is also the author of Ghosts of the SouthCoast and co-author of Haunted Objects: Stories of Ghosts on Your Shelf. Tim is also a popular lecturer on paranormal topics and coordinates paranormal events with an eye toward fundraising for historic and haunted locations. For his day job, Tim is the morning talk show host and brand manager for radio station WBSM.

In this episode, Truth talks with Chris Pittman – a Massachusetts based paranormal investigator, historian, amateur archaeologist, as well as vocalist for the punk band “Who Killed Spikey Jacket”.   Chris has a long history of studying UFO’s (personally and with MUFON)  and paranormal phenomena.  He’s known for his historical contributions to, and appearances on, the TV show “Ancient Aliens” as well as the documentary film, “The Bridgewater Triangle”.  He has also lectured extensively and contributed articles to numerous newspapers and publications as well as curated websites on his research. Currently Chris is focusing more on historical research as well as archaeology in the Northeast – particularly in regards to Native American sites and stone structures.

The two discuss punk rock and the divisiveness in the scene nowadays – as well as general divisiveness in the country;  covid stuff; Chris’s background in paranormal research – how he got into it, his experiences with it, and a real heavy discussion about the experiences that led to why Chris chose to stop actively investigating UFO’s; regression analysis; negative experiences/encounters with non-human intelligences, bigfoot tie-ins, synchronicity, the Bridgewater Triangle and the strange phenomena there, and his current interests in regards to historical / colonial UFO cases as well as Northeastern archaeology/Native American sites.
