Do the kids in your life have a clear view of the world as God sees it, or do they need some gentle coaching to be shaped and molded into God’s truth? | Episode 60 - Teaching Kids To Think Like Christ, Not Culture w/Elizabeth Urbanowicz | 27 Sep 2022 | 00:30:47 | |
Is truth true for everyone? Even though our guest today, Elizabeth Urbanowicz, was a teacher in a Christian elementary school, most of her students could not answer "yes" to this question. They had memorized the scripture that says "Jesus is the way the truth and the life", but they didn't have the foundation to defend this truth. Elizabeth’s ministry, “Foundation Worldview”, created materials that equip kids to carefully evaluate every idea they encounter so they can understand the truth, and discover for themselves that the Bible consistently lines up with what they find in the world around them! Ready to teach the children in your life how to be active evaluators of their culture? Let’s go! ELIZABETH URBANOWICZ (er-ban-o-wits) is a follower of Jesus Christ who is passionate about equipping kids to understand the truth of the Christian worldview. Elizabeth began her professional career as an elementary teacher in a Christian school. Several years into her teaching experience, Elizabeth realized that despite being raised in Christian homes, attending a Christian school, and being active in church, her students thought more like the culture than like Christ. Elizabeth began searching for curricular materials that would equip her students to think critically, helping them discover that Christianity is the worldview that lines up with reality. After not finding any materials that met this need, she began creating a curriculum for her students. Elizabeth first taught Foundation Comparative Worldview Curriculum as an after-school class for third through fifth graders, and the results were incredible! Students were transformed from passive recipients of information to active evaluators of every message they receive. Parents and teachers alike noticed the impact these materials had on students’ media consumption, academic achievement, and everyday habits. This transformation lasted beyond the elementary years and guided students’ thinking in junior high and beyond. Elizabeth now works full-time on developing comparative worldview and apologetics resources for children. Her goal is to prepare the next generation to be lifelong critical thinkers and, most importantly, lifelong disciples of Jesus Christ.

| Episode 56 - God’s Love Letter to Us with Anita Keagy | 30 Aug 2022 | 00:25:25 | |
Striving to live for Jesus is a gift and a challenge wrapped in one - do you sometimes feel like you're a hamster on a wheel, spinning around going nowhere fast?
This is how Anity Keagy, mom, grandmom and creator of JoyShop Ministries, felt until she heard the Lord speak Matthew 6:33 over her. "SEEK FIRST His Kingdom, and everything else you need will be given to you." As she started to walk this verse out, she surrendered her whole self to Jesus - and discovered this verse to be the answer to abundant life!
Ready to hear Anita & Kori discuss an amazing testimony that parallels God's love letters to us? Let's Go...
ANITA KEAGY founded JoyShop Ministries in 2006 with one simple mission: to inspire people to prioritize spending time with God every day through Bible reading and prayer. Since then, she has traveled nationwide and internationally, sharing her message of seeking God first each day as the key to abundant life and joy.
Anita candidly shares about her teenage pregnancy as a preacher’s daughter and the difficult choice to place her daughter for adoption. Although she never had the privilege to see or hold her child, Anita never stopped yearning to know her daughter, even as she married and had four more children. Through a file of letters and the help of her adoption agency, Anita finally met her first-born 21 years later. God used Anita’s own desire to know her child to impress upon her how much He wants to know His children-us! With that knowledge, JoyShop Ministries was born, which is now thriving and impacting lives every day!
Anita is the author of The File: A Mother and Child’s Life-Changing Reunion. Her motivational six session DVD series, Seeking God First found on RightNow Media, PureFlix, Crossflix, and Vision Video, has encouraged and challenged those who long for a deeper relationship with God. Her DVD, Letters to an Unknown Daughter is her personal testimony of motherhood, hope, and healing. Her book and DVD series, along with additional supportive materials, can be purchased on her website.
Anita lives in Washington Boro, Pennsylvania, with her husband, Paul. She is the mother of 5 adult children and 14 grandchildren. She attended Messiah College and also received training from Kay Arthur, of Precept Ministries, and Anne Graham Lotz.

Dr. Robert & Carlotta Jackson dig into Scripture to uncover the things the Lord has to teach through the Parable of the Prodigal Son. The definition of a prodigal is “someone who is wasteful.” In the Biblical narrative, the prodigal son wasted his inheritance, and is paralleled with a person who walks away from the faith. You’ll be inspired by the Jacksons’ wisdom and heart to share their own prodigal experience. Their desire is to spark hope for those who may be in the midst of a dark time, and provide practical ways to love the prodigal home.
Are you ready to hear how you can prepare the way home for a prodigal child? Let’s go!
ROBERT & CARLOTTA JACKSON are seasoned motivational speakers known for clearly communicating the transformative power of the Gospel into the lives of their audiences. They have been privileged to serve the Lord in a variety of ways including evangelizing through multiple mission trips, taking on a plethora of church and community responsibilities in the name of Jesus Christ, and operating a vibrant, Christian medical practice. They realize now that their greatest contribution may have been made sitting around the kitchen table - reading a great novel to or memorizing scripture with their children, discussing a spiritual truth or God’s Word with whomever, reviewing moral and political issues locally and abroad, and entertaining angels unaware. Dr. Robert Jackson has authored 4 books and is host of the More Than Medicine podcast.
