As always though, we both found her writing and storytelling to be off the charts amazing.

From Air follows Jaime, a traveling nurse, as she moves from Miami to Montana into a house of firefighters and sparks fly with roommate Calvin Fitzgerald.

She can’t help but fixate on Calvin, a grumpy, elusive, smoke jumper ten years her senior. She makes playfully tormenting him her pet project, trying to get him to open up. It turns out he gives as good as he gets and the banter between these two had us laughing out loud.

The characters are incredibly complex and although there is so much humor there is also a deeper and sadder storyline that is woven throughout the book.
