In this week's episode of The Alcohol ReThink Podcast Patrick has something a little bit different for you.

It's a 10 minute guided meditation he created to help you process the desire to drink without acting on it or trying to resist it.

Feelings are incredibly important and what make life so beautiful. The reason we do or don't do anything in life is because of how we think it will make us feel.

As a man it's possible that you were conditioned or brought up to believe that feeling your emotions was not ok, it is not something that men do. These are worn out paradigms that ultimately create us disconnecting from ourselves and creating more unnecessary suffering and end up using alcohol to numb our pain.

In this episode Patrick offers you to explore what belief systems you have around being a man and your emotions. Then he guides you through a 10 minute meditation to help you process the desire to drink alcohol.

When we learn to develop the relationship we have with our emotions, we realise that they are there to serve us, they don't mean anything about who we are as a human being on planet earth.
