Trails Where Golf Began Part 3
Saison 1 · Épisode 3
mercredi 20 avril 2022 • Durée 31:15
In this episode we found out a little-known fact one in every five courses in Scotland are made up of only nine holes. Going back generations, these short-form layouts were at the heart of villages and town, the lifeblood of the community where people could gather and enjoy a game for all levels of ability. It seems appropriate this trail would be called 'Honest & Short'. We also explore Scotland’s less obvious which are are those venues that perhaps sit in the shadow of siblings, go under the radar or lack the profile enjoyed by bigger names. However, that takes nothing away from their quality, value for money and experience.

Trails Where Golf Began Part 2
mercredi 6 avril 2022 • Durée 12:08
While Scotland may be famed for its championship links layouts, the quality of golf within the nation’s major cities is notable. Indeed, the highest concentrations of golf courses in Scotland are around Glasgow (over 90 courses) and the capital city of Edinburgh (over 65 courses). We love a good Ale and a pint of Lager but the choice is yours – just like the golf. And don’t forget the local gin choices too, which continue to grow in popularity. Get Crafty is a trail we can't wait to explore!

Established in 2020 by a few self proclaimed golfing tragics, Cookie Jar Golf aims to share the most interesting and often less told stories from across the game. We caught up with Bruce for an in depth discussion on his and the guys affection with Scotland and in particular The Old Tom Morris series they did in partnership with ourselves.

Trails Where Golf Began Part 1
Saison 1 · Épisode 3
mercredi 23 mars 2022 • Durée 20:15
In this episode we explore incredible courses, stunning scenery and the local hospitality by going off the well-trodden tourism paths as we uncover golf in Scotland that you perhaps didn’t know existed by hopping on a ferry on the West coast of Scotland. Maybe enjoy a dram after your round is more your thing with the Perfect Match trail, or if Links golf floats your boat, journey to the seaside and simply enjoy the links effect.
