Heather Brown is an innovative and passionate teacher who loves engaging both students and educators. She lives in Dixon, Illinois with her four-year-old son, her husband, and their animals in their own “neck of the woods.” Heather has been teaching since 2009 and is currently a K-5 math interventionist and STEAM teacher at East Coloma-Nelson Elementary School in Rock Falls where she specializes in leveraging new technology to engage students and differentiate learning.
Heather is an ambitious author and presenter- her upcoming work is The Field Guide to the Canva Math Classroom: Transforming Anxiety into Excitement, co-authored with Amanda Fox and published by TeacherGoals. In this book, Heather focuses on increasing engagement and critical thinking skills in the math classroom and features more than 42 templates that can be used to teach math for grades K-12. In addition to being an author, Heather is also cohost of TechTalk Tuesdays, a copy editor and consultant for TeacherGoals. She has presented locally and nationally, including at conferences such as IDEAcon, ISTE and FETC. Heather is also a Teacher Canvassador for Canva.
Heather believes in the power of technology to help educators foster collaboration, critical thinking and creativity in the classroom. She is committed to helping teachers increase engagement and find innovative approaches to teaching.

Monsters Have Manners is Jeff’s 3rd book, but his first project that he’s worked on with his son Braden. Braden drew all of the monsters between the ages of 8-12.
Jeff lives near Sacramento with his wife Piper; daughter Keeley, and son Braden. They love to travel as much as possible, especially to areas with beaches, water, and hiking trails.
Jeff focuses his book topics on kindness, compassion, inclusion, equity, and ways to help other people. He loves to travel to schools and talk about writing, literature, improving mental health, and other areas.

Since inception, Leap For Literacy has inspired thousands of acts of kindness, donated thousands of books, professionally illustrated and published books for almost 100 young authors. Stan’s dream is to start his own book fair, of only books written by young authors. His Share Your Story writing program has guided thousands of kids to successful authorship. The newest chapter in his life is his children's show; The Very Airy Library. Stan Tucker hopes this show inspires the kids of today like Reading Rainbow inspired him when he was kid.
