lundi 12 janvier 2026 • Durée 38:26
Health was never meant to feel this confusing, overwhelming, or exhausting.
In this episode, Jana sits down with Nathan Schwartz who is a Registered Dietitian, Certified Personal Trainer, and owner of Schwartz Fitness LLC for an honest, refreshing conversation about how nutrition became overcomplicated — and how simplifying your approach is often the key to better results.
Together, they break down why more rules, more diets, and more information haven’t made us healthier… and what actually works when it comes to creating habits that last in real life.
In this episode, we cover:
- Why doing “all the right things” still isn’t leading to results
- How over complication fuels burnout, inconsistency, and frustration
- The problem with chasing perfection in health
- What simple, effective nutrition actually looks like
- How to build habits that fit busy, real-life schedules
- Why enjoying the process matters more than following rules
This episode is for you if:
- You’re tired of starting over every Monday
- You feel overwhelmed by conflicting health advice
- You want results without extremes or restriction
- You’re ready to make health feel doable — and even fun — again
Health doesn’t need to be harder.
It needs to be simpler, more supportive, and sustainable.
🎧 Listen in and learn how to bring clarity, consistency, and enjoyment back into your health journey.

Grief, Women, and the Body: How Loss Changes Our Health, Weight, and Self-Image
lundi 5 janvier 2026 • Durée 52:33
Grief doesn’t just live in your heart — it lives in your body.
In this episode, we’re having a deeply honest conversation about how grief impacts women physically, emotionally, and metabolically. From weight changes and body image struggles to exhaustion, inflammation, and disconnection from our bodies, grief often shows up in ways no one prepares us for.
As women, we’re rarely taught how loss affects our nervous system, hormones, appetite, or sense of self. Instead, we’re told to “get back to normal” — even when our bodies are still holding so much.
In this episode, we explore:
- How grief is stored in the body (not just the mind)
- Why weight changes during grief are not a personal failure
- The connection between grief, stress hormones, and metabolism
- How body image struggles often deepen after loss
- What true healing looks like when you stop fighting your body and start listening to it
This conversation is for any woman who has experienced loss — whether recent or long ago — and has felt disconnected, frustrated, or confused by how her body has changed since.
You are not broken.
Your body is responding to what it’s been through.
This episode is an invitation to meet yourself with compassion, understanding, and a new lens for healing — one that honors both your grief and your body.

Emotional Eating in Women: Break the Binge Cycle, Stop Food Noise & Heal Your Relationship with Food (Hint: It's Not Willpower)
lundi 29 décembre 2025 • Durée 44:22
In this episode, Jana and Margot get real about what’s actually driving emotional eating and why it has nothing to do with willpower, self-control, or being “bad with food.” If you’ve ever felt out of control around eating, stuck in the restrict-then-binge cycle, or overwhelmed by food rules that leave you exhausted and ashamed, this conversation will feel like a deep exhale. Expect clarity, compassion, and grounded truth about the real reasons women struggle with food and how healing your relationship with eating starts with reconnecting to your body, your hunger, and yourself.
They get into:
😩 Why emotional eating is often a response to under eating, chronic restriction, stress, and unmet needs and how it shows up as food noise, late night snacking, guilt, or feeling “out of control”
🧐 How learning to honor hunger, neutralize food rules, and build awareness around emotions helps you stop fearing food and start trusting your body again
📈 Why nourishing yourself consistently, allowing all foods, and creating space between emotions and eating leads to sustainable change and a healthier relationship with food and yourself
Tune in and let’s talk some sh*t.

Midlife Exhaustion, Inflammation & Brain Fog in Women Over 40: Decode Your Body's Signals (Not Just Aging)
lundi 22 décembre 2025 • Durée 32:04
In this episode, Jana and Claudine get real about what women are actually experiencing in midlife and why feeling exhausted, inflamed, foggy, or disconnected from your body is not “just getting older.”
If you’ve ever been told your labs are “normal” while you feel anything but, or felt like your body suddenly stopped responding to the things that used to work… this conversation will feel like a deep exhale. Expect clarity, validation, and a whole new way to understand what your body is trying to tell you instead of fighting it.
They get into:
😩 Why so many women in their 40s and 50s feel depleted, burned out, and frustrated despite doing “all the right things” and how underfueling, overperforming, and chronic stress quietly drain your body
🧐 How symptoms like fatigue, weight gain, insomnia, anxiety, gut issues, and stubborn inflammation are signals not failures and how learning to decode them helps you rebuild trust with your body
📈 Why supporting your nervous system, eating enough, and addressing root causes instead of silencing symptoms creates real, lasting change and how midlife can become a powerful turning point instead of a breaking point
Tune in and let’s talk some sh*t.

Unstuck & Unapologetic: Breaking Free from People-Pleasing and Self-Abandonment
lundi 15 décembre 2025 • Durée 49:55
In this episode, Jana and Melissa get real about what’s actually keeping women stuck — and why it has nothing to do with discipline, self-control, or “just trying harder.” If you’ve ever felt like you’re doing everything for everyone else, losing yourself in the process, or running on empty while pretending you’re fine… this conversation is the permission slip you didn’t know you needed. Expect clarity, compassion, and the grounded truth behind why so many women feel overwhelmed, resentful, or disconnected from themselves — and how to finally change that.
They get into:
😩 Why women fall into people-pleasing, self-abandonment, and stuffing their emotions — and how those patterns show up as anxiety, burnout, overeating, overworking, or constantly staying busy
🧐 How getting quiet, building self-awareness, and reconnecting with your values helps you understand what you actually need — so you can stop outsourcing your power and start rebuilding self-trust
📈 Why honoring your emotions (yes, even anger), setting boundaries, and choosing yourself creates a healthier life — and how real change begins when you stop shape-shifting to keep the peace
Tune in and let’s talk some sh*t.

Breaking Free: Why Discipline Isn’t the Answer to Women’s Health Struggles
lundi 8 décembre 2025 • Durée 43:38
In this episode, Jana and Rebecca break down what’s actually keeping women stuck - and why it has nothing to do with discipline, willpower, or knowing what to eat. If you’ve ever felt frustrated, guilty, or like you’re doing everything “right” but nothing changes, this conversation will give you clarity, compassion, and a new way forward.
They get real about:
😩Why women feel like they’ve “tried everything” - and why the real issue isn’t willpower, but the habit loops and beliefs driving their behavior
🧐How curiosity, awareness, and values-based choices create sustainable change without guilt, shame, or restriction
📈Why aiming for the B (not the A) makes consistency possible - and how flexibility, not perfection, leads to long-term success

Mapping Your Nervous System: Understanding the Patterns That Keep You Stuck
lundi 1 décembre 2025 • Durée 55:39
In this episode of Talking Sh*t, Jana drops the pressure to “just be disciplined” and gets real about the one thing most women never consider when they’re trying to change their habits or their relationship with food: their nervous system - the personal blueprint that shapes how you cope, react, shut down, or push through stress.
With nervous system coach and licensed clinical social worker Kim Jackson-Massaro, Jana unpacks why so many women feel stuck: not because they lack willpower, but because their body has learned to survive - not thrive - after years of dieting, criticism, and feeling “not enough.”
They get real about:
💭 How your nervous system wiring explains your reactions - fight, flight, or collapse - and why none of it is your fault
🔥 Why dieting often becomes a trauma response and triggers shutdown, overwhelm, or sabotage
✨ How self-compassion, awareness, and small joy-driven practices help you shift your behavior without shame or force
If you’ve ever felt like you’re fighting your body or stuck in the same patterns, this episode will feel like finally understanding yourself with clarity and compassion.

Why Gratitude Is the Missing Piece in Your Weight Loss Journey
dimanche 23 novembre 2025 • Durée 13:40
In this episode of Talking Sh*t, Jana drops the perfection, the pressure, and the “not enough” mindset to give you a raw, grounded ramble on the one thing almost every woman overlooks in her health journey: gratitude — the active, mindset-shifting kind that actually changes the way you lose weight, build consistency, and feel at home in your body.
Drawing from years of coaching and her own background growing up in a competitive sports family, Jana unpacks the hidden reason so many women quit on themselves: not because the diet stops working… but because they stop feeling like it’s working. This episode flips that entirely. You’ll learn why one win — even the tiniest one — is enough to keep you in the game, and why dismissing your progress is the real sabotage.
She gets real about:
💭 Why you never feel “good enough” in your progress — and how gratitude rewires your brain to finally register success
🔥 How minimizing your wins fuels inconsistency, stress, and sabotage
✨ Why “one point wins the game” is the metaphor that will change how you see weight loss forever
If you’ve ever told yourself “I should be further,” “It’s not enough,” or “I’ll start again Monday,” this episode is your reset button. Jana shows you that consistency doesn’t come from control, punishment, or perfection — it comes from celebrating the small wins that actually count.
This is your reminder:
Health doesn’t become sustainable because you hustle harder.
It becomes sustainable when you finally see — and honor — the progress you’re already making.
Tune in for an episode that will leave you feeling lighter, grounded, and ready to keep scoring those points, one small win at a time.
