Julie Scott - Immersive Meditation Coach, Hypnotherapist, Life Coach, Author & Lover of Cats Just shy of her 40th birthday, Julie looked around her life and wondered, “Is this all there is for me?” She worked a job she hated, living in a city she longed to leave, and her marriage was falling apart. After decades of struggling with people-pleasing, over-giving and low self-esteem, the end of her marriage in 2005 was her wake up call to make some major changes. Over the next 10 years she read every self-help book she could get her hands on. Julie also hired a Life Coach to help her delve deeper into what beliefs were holding her back from going after what she truly wanted in life. She slowly started becoming aware of unhealthy habits and patterns. While working with her coach, Julie started coaching herself as she picked up quickly on the process and soon recognized that coaching was something that came naturally to her and that it was a career path that she could pursue. In 2016 she earned her Life Coaching (ICF) certification and quickly began working with clients. Julie always worked with a coach for herself as she believed in the process. However, she noticed a pattern for herself AND her clients: Once she stopped working with a particular coach, (or when her clients completed their program with Julie) although progress was made during their time together, she still found the same limiting beliefs / habits popping up in her life (and her clients did too). She thought there had to be a way to make REAL change... Change that lasted. That's when she started reading books about epigenetics, and how the brain and body work. She also learned about how powerful the subconscious mind is, running 95% of our daily thoughts, feelings and actions. It's also where all our core beliefs are stored that we acquired from 0-7 years old. And that we can't access the subconscious from a conscious state. With this new information under her belt, Julie began her own meditation practice and also became a Certified Hypnotherapist. Since 2021, Julie has been using a combination of coaching, meditation and hypnotherapy for her own continued self-discovery and growth with amazing results. Meditation has also helped Julie to deepen her own sense of spirituality as she has connected with her Inner Self and the Ultimate Source - which has now become her sacred place to gain clarity, focus, truth, strength, and wisdom. In 2023 Julie became an Immersive Meditation Coach through GMF (Guided Meditation Framework), then introduced this proven method into her coaching practice and her clients enjoy the ease of making change with this new process. And the best part? It's a lasting change that continues to produce results long after working with Julie. Julie likes to think of the process as "Effortless Change" because that's what it feels like. Clients find themselves doing things differently without thinking about it. They're more confident in themselves because they have come to know that they too can access their Inner Self for clarity, wisdom and strength. A near-death experience when she drowned at 5 years old inspired a spiritual openness within her that has persisted throughout her lifetime. She holds a BS in medical technology and worked as a medical technologist in clinical laboratories for a little over 30 years, yet she yearned to work with people more directly and deeply in a healing capacity. After reading Dr. Michael Newton's Journey of Souls and Destiny of Souls, many years ago, Elizabeth knew that she had to learn how to conduct Life Between Lives® spiritual regression sessions- it was a calling! In 2013 she trained for trans-personal hypnotherapy and past life regression therapy with Paul Aurand, MHt, of Holistic Healing Center, NYC, NY. Elizabeth is an IACT certified hypnotherapist.
