You’re Being Misunderstood—Your Voice Is Why (And How to Fix It) | Nūr Founders (S4 E10)17 Jun 202600:39:23

Your voice isn’t just how you speak, it’s how you lead, influence, and are remembered.

In this episode, we explore how AI is transforming the way we understand communication, confidence, and self-expression—starting with your voice.

What if your voice is the most underdeveloped leadership tool you have?

In this episode of Sunday SoulDay, I sit down with Makaeel Sheikh (Co-Founder & CEO) and Raheem Sheikh (Co-Founder) of NūrAI—an AI-powered voice coaching platform designed to help you communicate with clarity, confidence, and intention.

Founded by two scientist brothers, NūrAI is redefining how we understand communication—analyzing not just what you say, but how you say it:

your tone, rhythm, presence, energy, and patterns over time.

We explore:

Why your voice is deeply connected to identity and leadership

How real-time AI feedback can transform how you communicate

The hidden ways people shrink, code-switch, or disconnect from their voice

How self-awareness in communication leads to confidence and growth

The future of voice, AI, and human potential

Nūr isn’t just about communication—it’s about alignment, self-awareness, and reclaiming your authentic expression.

If you’ve ever felt misunderstood, overlooked, or unsure how you’re coming across…

Burnout Is a Signal—Not the Problem | Graham Skidmore (S4 E9)29 Mar 202600:56:05

What happens when you walk away from conventional success—and step into sovereignty?

In this powerful episode of Sunday SoulDay, we sit down with Graham Skidmore, former Rocket Mortgage executive turned entrepreneur, educator, and systems thinker, to explore the deeper truth behind burnout, identity, and reclaiming personal power.

After two decades helping scale one of corporate America’s most influential client acquisition engines, Graham experienced what many would call burnout—but what he now recognizes as a profound spiritual initiation.

That moment didn’t break him.

It redirected him.

Today, Graham is building systems that honor the soul, restore agency, and integrate ethical AI to support human potential—not replace it.

🌱 In this episode, we explore:

The hidden truth behind burnout—and why it’s often a turning point

Why “the systems are broken, not the people”

How fear, trauma, and conditioning shape our lives—and how to transform them

Reclaiming personal sovereignty in a world of one-size-fits-all systems

The role of ethical AI in supporting human intelligence and evolution

What it means to live in alignment with your authentic self

🌿 About Graham’s Work

Graham is the founder of:

EnGen — a nonprofit incubating healing, education, and decentralized community

SATH Solutions — building ethical, soul-aligned AI infrastructure

Harmony Health — helping individuals reconnect with their potential through education, tools, and practitioner support

He is also the creator of I Didn’t Come With an Owner’s Manual, a multi-part YouTube teaching series and forthcoming book that explores how personal growth, healing, and self-awareness are deeply connected to how we understand ourselves—and the systems we live within.

🌸 Why this conversation matters

This episode challenges the idea that something is “wrong” with you.

Instead, it offers a new perspective:

👉 What if your struggles are not failures—but signals?

👉 What if your path isn’t broken—but misaligned?

👉 What if your power was never lost—just buried?

🌱 Who this is for

Leaders navigating burnout or identity shifts

Founders and creators questioning conventional success

Anyone seeking deeper alignment, healing, and purpose

Those curious about the intersection of consciousness, systems, and AI

Unlocking Forgiveness: Empathy, Curiosity and Self-Care in the Face of Narcissism (Ep. 15)24 Sep 202300:50:05

On Sunday SoulDay, Damesha and Alli decided to switch things up and delve into a trending yet often overused topic: narcissism. Join us on this transformative episode where we shed light on the dark realities of narcissism and narcissistic abuse, offering fresh perspectives, actionable insights, and a path towards healing.

Narcissistic abuse is a form of emotional and psychological abuse that can have devastating effects on the lives of its victims. Narcissistic abuse is perpetrated by individuals who have a personality disorder characterized by an inflated sense of self-importance, a lack of empathy for others, and a constant need for admiration and attention.

The effects of narcissistic abuse can be both immediate and long-lasting. Initially, victims may experience confusion, anxiety, and a sense of being overwhelmed. They may struggle to comprehend what is happening to them, as the behavior of the narcissist can be unpredictable and inconsistent. The victim may also feel isolated and alone, as the narcissist may attempt to control their access to social support networks.

Over time, the effects of narcissistic abuse can become more pronounced. Victims may experience a range of emotional and psychological symptoms, including depression, anxiety, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). They may struggle with low self-esteem, feelings of worthlessness, and a sense of being trapped in the abusive relationship.

Narcissistic abuse can also have a profound impact on a victim's physical health. It is not uncommon for victims to experience chronic stress and anxiety, which can lead to a range of physical symptoms such as headaches, digestive problems, and chronic pain.

In addition to the immediate and long-term effects on the victim, narcissistic abuse can also have broader societal effects. Narcissists often seek to manipulate and control those around them, which can lead to a breakdown of trust, communication, and cooperation within families, workplaces, and communities.

Leaving a narcissist relationship or system takes immense bravery and strength. It's like breaking free from a web of manipulation and gaslighting, but with each step towards freedom, you become stronger and more resilient.

If you are experiencing narcissistic abuse, it is important to seek help. This may involve reaching out to a trusted friend or family member, seeking therapy from a qualified mental health professional, or contacting a support group for victims of narcissistic abuse. Remember that you are not alone, and that there are resources available to help you on your journey to healing and recovery

However, everything changed when he contracted Covid-19 in March 2022. During his two-week self-isolation period, he took the opportunity to focus on himself and rediscovered his true calling.

Interview with Lorena Garfi, Certified Authenticity Coach (Ep. 6)18 Sep 202300:53:01

In this energizing episode, we have the privilege of sitting down with Lorena Garfi, a former top model who campaigned for designers across the globe then transitioned into stand up comedy and is now certified Authenticity Coach through the Jay Shetty Certification School, a wife and mom of three! Tune in for this energetic and soul fueling conversation!

Podcast Takeaways

  1. Lorena inspires us to listen to ourselves and follow our own dreams, regardless of the opinions of others. She also reminds us that we are all on our own path, our own journey and to allow our loved ones the space to find their authentic selves on their own timeline.

  2. Lorena reminds us to have the courage to get into action and explore different interests in order to find what authentically feels right for each of us.

Meet Our Guest
Lorena Garfi is an authenticity coach who specializes in helping clients uncover their true selves. She recognizes that in today's society, individuals often find themselves caught up in the demands of societal expectations, motherhood, marriage, and careers. There is a pervasive belief that neglecting one's own needs is a selfless act, and prioritizing oneself is seen as selfish and unloving. Many people live their lives wearing masks, pretending to be someone they're not, and hiding their true selves in order to please others and seek validation from external sources. This leads to a sense of feeling trapped, unsatisfied, and resentful.

Lorena's mission is to inspire individuals to embark on a new chapter in their lives, reconnect with their purpose, express themselves authentically, and find the confidence and courage to take control of their own destinies. She believes that by shining their light and manifesting their dreams, individuals can inspire others to discover their own truths and unleash their wildest aspirations.

With a background as a former fashion model and stand-up comedian, Lorena has personally experienced the impact of not being true to oneself. In the pursuit of success, beauty, and fame, she witnessed how individuals can lose touch with what truly matters – the connection to oneself and the world around them. This disconnection from one's own life leads to feelings of emptiness and a lack of fulfillment, even if one's external circumstances may appear perfect.

Through her coaching and guidance, Lorena empowers individuals to answer the call of their hearts and find harmony in their lives. She helps them break free from the constraints of societal expectations and embrace their authentic selves. Lorena's aim is for her clients to leave behind the life they have always dreamed of, discovering a newfound sense of purpose, connection, and self-fulfillment.

Lorena guides clients towards living a life true to themselves, inspiring them to reclaim their dreams, needs, and desires. Through her own journey and professional expertise, she helps others overcome feelings of being trapped and unsatisfied, enabling them to rediscover their true selves and experience a sense of fulfillment and connection in their lives.

Sunday SoulDay Interview with our host Damesha Craig (Ep. 2)11 Sep 202301:00:48

Today we turn the tables on our beautiful host, Damesha Craig to interview her. The daughter of NFL great, Roger Craig and Vernessia Craig. As the eldest of 5 children, she shares her experiences; including her upbringing, career/entrepreneurial journey and love life. She discusses transitions and pivotal, turning points that led her to living her life for herself rather than for others. She teaches us how to forgive and of course, tips around how to fuel our souls.
Some key takeaways included: to keep healing, forgiveness as a gift we give ourselves, Damesha’s inspiration to make as much as we can out of our lives (leaving all our creativity and energy here before we leave this earth), her empathy  and love for family and the grace she gives to herself. She recognizes that life is a journey! She sees the world with a child like curiosity and is all about progress rather than perfection. Remember that healing is a process, and can be an important step towards finding peace and wholeness.
“Unhealed trauma can cloud our ability to see the pain and suffering of others, making it easy to minimize their experiences. But true healing allows us to recognize the depth of our own pain and use it as a source of empathy and compassion for others. When we heal, we can hold space for others to heal, too.” - Damesha Craig, Certified Mindset Life & Business Coach, CEO & Author 💛

From Trauma to Transformation: Dr. Robert Bleck’s 3-Phase Method to Emotional Freedom (S3 E39)14 Dec 202500:44:40

In today’s powerful and deeply moving episode, we sit down with Dr. Robert Bleck, founder of the Source Completion Therapy Center and the creator of Source Completion Therapy (SCT)—a proven, three-phase process designed to cleanse and permanently heal emotional wounds left behind by trauma, abuse, and painful life experiences.

Dr. Bleck’s story begins with unimaginable hardship. From a childhood marked by severe abuse to becoming a nationally recognized therapist, author, professor, and innovator—his journey is a testament to resilience, empathy, and the courage to transform pain into purpose.

For over 40 years, Dr. Bleck has helped individuals struggling with:

• Trauma & abuse

• Addiction

• Phobias

• Anxiety & depression

• Anger issues

• Eating disorders

• Emotional wounds that linger for decades

His method—built on psychological research, neuroscience-aligned principles, and decades of clinical experience—guides people through a powerful process:

1️⃣ Awareness – uncovering the true origins of emotional pain

2️⃣ Re-experiencing – revisiting the memory safely and intentionally

3️⃣ Completion – giving the pain back to its source so the wound can truly heal

We also discuss his book, "Give Back the Pain," where he breaks down the SCT process through real-life stories and offers tools, including self-hypnosis scripts, that help readers move toward emotional freedom.

If you’re carrying pain from the past…

If you’ve tried everything and still feel stuck…

If you’re seeking a deeper path to emotional healing…

How to Break the Stress Loop: Dr. Gary Sprouse on Mindset, Healing, and Finding Your Happy Place (S3 E37)07 Dec 202500:44:23

In a world where over 49% of American adults report significant daily stress, Dr. Gary Sprouse is offering something radical: Finding Your Happy Place and, more importantly, tools to reduce stress.

This Sunday SoulDay episode features Dr. Gary Sprouse, a retired physician turned author, speaker, and mindset specialist known as The Less Stress Doc. After four decades of treating thousands of patients, he uncovered a powerful truth:

👉 Most human stress isn’t caused by what’s wrong with us — it’s a side effect of what’s right with us - our changing environments.

Our ability to envision the future becomes worry.

Our empathy becomes guilt.

Our memory becomes regret.

Our intelligence becomes overwhelm

In this episode, Dr. Sprouse shares how stress nearly consumed his own life, what he calls his “55-gallon drum of stress,” and how retirement actually opened the door to continue his life’s purpose in a new way: helping people break stress loops and return to their “Happy Place.”

This conversation is for you if you are…

✔️ Feeling overwhelmed or stretched thin

✔️ Caught in a loop of worry, guilt, or perfectionism

✔️ Wanting more peace, clarity, or emotional balance

✔️ Curious about the science of stress, mindset, and healing

✔️ Ready to move toward your own “Happy Place”

John Graham: A Life of Adventure, Service & Leadership (S3 Ep 15)06 Jul 202500:56:24

✨🎙️ Episode Title: John Graham: A Life of Adventure, Service & Leadership

What happens when a former U.S. diplomat, mountaineer, and changemaker realizes that the greatest risk isn’t external—but internal?

In this soul-stirring episode, we sit down with John Graham, a man whose life reads like an epic novel. From scaling Denali’s treacherous north wall to navigating the high-stakes world of diplomacy in Vietnam, Libya, and South Africa, John’s journey has been anything but ordinary.

But it’s not the danger or accolades that define him—it’s the pivot to purpose.

John shares how he shifted from climbing literal mountains to climbing toward meaning. We talk about the moment he realized that true courage lies in choosing peace, service, and legacy over ego and fear. He opens up about his transformation from Washington insider to global activist, and how that evolution birthed the Giraffe Heroes Project—a movement celebrating those who “stick their necks out” for the greater good.

You’ll hear powerful stories of unsung heroes, reflections on what it means to live with purpose, and how he continues to inspire younger generations—even as the “Badass Granddad” on TikTok.

✨ We explore:

✨What diplomacy taught him about courage and character

✨How to find the meaning of your life—and why it matters

✨Why serving others is the path to deep self-discovery

✨The legacy he hopes to leave behind

✨And how you can make your one wild and precious life count

✨If you’ve ever asked yourself, “Is this all there is?” or “How can I live more boldly and meaningfully?”—this conversation is for you.

Press play and get ready to be moved, inspired, and reconnected with your deeper why.

About John

John Graham’s career spans diplomacy, daring exploration, and a deep commitment to social change. A former U.S. diplomat for 15 years, he played key roles in revolutionary Libya, Vietnam, NATO, the U.S. Mission to the UN, and served as a foreign policy advisor to Senator John Glenn. Beyond diplomacy, he’s an accomplished mountaineer, achieving the first (and still unrepeated) ascent of Denali’s treacherous north wall.
