On the 16th June, 2024, Strange New Worlds and Spaced Out Tales will proudly be airing the first episode of our 7-episode mini-series, The Fall and Partial Re-emergence of The Dysfunctional 5.

Glitch

A small group of astronauts have been chosen to crew the first manned space voyage to Mars. Or have they? The crew knows there is a 50% chance they could merely be participating in a realistic computer simulation of the mission, an analog for the real crew.

But before they discover the truth, contact with Earth is lost part way through their journey - suggesting something catastrophic has happened back home.

But are they out in space, facing the prospect of returning to a doomed planet? Or are they actually on Earth, locked in a simulation while the real world burns around them?
